First impression which lasted throughout the stay is that staff is friendly and ready to help with any question, hotel and rooms are spotless clean - you could see the staff cleaning the corridors any time of the day, towels were changed daily, all in all perfect. This raises the rating to 8. In a walking distance to metro line 9, which takes you to the heart of the city. Bed itself was super comfy, but the rest of the room...

Although stated as double, our "cabrio" room was very small comparing to single rooms in other similar priced hotels. With 9sq.m including bathroom there is no closet, we had to "jump" over suitcases to get to bed, and the bathroom, shower cabin and sink are also very small and uncomfortable. I don't imagine how it would be accessible or usable for people with dissabilities... Definitely too small for 6 nights' stay.

The hotel is nice, I would say cozy. Tasty breakfast, everything fresh. The service was cordial, there were no problems with communication. The hotel is clean. The price for the rooms is really good, I personally recommend it. Plus for the location, because you don't have to go around the city. I will definitely use this place again.

Unfortunately, we got to the room (No. 322), which smelled terribly of cigarettes. I am a non-smoker so the smell was even more unbearable. Airing the room for an hour did nothing. Good thing we were only there for one night, otherwise I would have asked for a room change.

The desk staff were helpful and reassuring when unable to allocate rooms due to a failure of the "systeme informatique". After cycling from Gisors to Paris they gave me a towel to shower and change and looked after my bicycle securely when I returned from meeting friends in central Paris that evening I chose F1 because they were able to accommodate my classic bicycle securely. I stayed two nights and had breakfast for €7.90 - which was good value and enough to send me on my way towards Giverny on my last day. I chose a more expensive room with a toilet and shower, but I think the model of having a number of separate shower rooms on each floor works well and that other budget travellers were friendly as was the fairly shabby Porte de Montreuil district and flea market nearby in which it is situated. I loved the wallpaper,

The inability to book me in on arrival for a few hours, which was concerning and lack of offer to recognise this inconvenience - but I didn't ask. The area outside the front door should have been kept tidier, and the bins moved further away.

I've been in other F1 around Paris, so it's what I expected. Normally I pay for a room with bathroom, but prices in Eastern Holiday quite increase, so I went for the shared bathroom option and it was pretty fine. They keep the bathrooms clean all day and you have hands and wc sanitizer. Having a washbasin in room makes things way more convenient. The room was clean and sound-proof, the microwaves next to reception come really handy (and the water fountain), and the reception guys (particularly one from Senegal) are very kind. The area is a bit crappy (well, Montreuil, safe for the part next to Vincennes, is not much nice...) but does not feel scary (if you are used to XXI century France...)

Great Stay with Excellent Service I had a pleasant stay at hotelF1 Paris Porte de Montreuil. The staff was extremely polite and welcoming, making the experience even better. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and everything was well-maintained. The room size was reasonable for the price, providing good value for money. However, a small cupboard for storing belongings and shoes would have been helpful. Also, while the bathroom had a good mirror, having an additional mirror inside the room would have been more convenient. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend this hotel for budget-friendly accommodation in Paris. Would love to stay again!

No Bin basket inside the room

The hotel was fine

It’s far from the touristic places and the neighborhood looks kind of dangerous

I read the reviews before booking this hotel. I saw some people giving low scores because the rooms were small. Yes, the rooms were small but not too small and this was definitely not a reason to give a low score. I chose a double room with shared toilet and bathroom for two nights. I can say that this hotel is a perfect price-performance. It had great sound insulation. It is almost impossible to hear the outside when you are inside and the inside when you are outside. In fact, if you forget the door code, you can only hear your spouse inside by knocking on the door. The room was clean enough. There was a sink in the room and this was very logical. You can brush your teeth, wash your face and do many things here without going to the common area. In addition, the hotel is very close to the M9 metro, approximately 5-10 minutes. You can reach the Eiffel Tower in about half an hour with this metro. You can even find a market set up near the hotel on Saturdays. I can't say it's a great place in terms of location, but since I've seen worse places, this place was at an acceptable level. I came across helpful staff. I never tried the breakfast and WIFI. There was no closet for the wardrobes in our room, but there were enough hangers and a TV.

Friendly staff, 24h reception. Rooms and bathrooms/showers were cleaned regularly. Metro and tram stations within a walking distance. A good, minimalistic budget option if you just want a clean bed after you spent your day in Disneyland or visiting Paris attractions. I was on vacation with my 12-year-old son and neither of us had anything to complain. Found a really nice local brasserie where we had lunch on most days and there is a big Carrefour across the street if you need anything. There is also a huge flea market on weekends just next to the hotel.

It was not really clear beforehand the city tax was not included and I had to pay it on arrival at the hotel. A fridge would be nice to have. Also the area does not have any attractions and is a bit run-down but that's what you get when you go for budget options.

The room and bed were very clean. However the size of the room was small but that didn’t bother us a lot since we were gone during the day. There was a TV and WIFI. The staff was very friendly and helpful and wearing a little straw hat and a t-shirt with the hotel’s name. The showers and toilets were clean but separate from the rooms. It is possible to have a continental breakfast (for additional fee). There was a Carrefour just across for last minute grocery shopping which was convenient. The neighborhood was OK with a lot of immigrants from Algeria and North Africa. Quite noisy at night. The distance from the center was not too bad thanks to the Metro Porte de Montreuil (15 min walk from the hotel). It is a very good budget hotel. I can only recommend it!

The toilets were clean but the tiles were always wet. The neighborhood is vibrant but can be noisy at night.

Very friendly and friendly staff, room was comfy and had everything I needed. Plenty of chargers and lights, table and chair for makeup, Toilets were super clean and I liked the separate cubicle aspect as well as the green/red light system. They also automatically flush when opening the door. Lifts worked well and the vending machines in the lobby were super helpful. Liked the sink in the room too. There is also an ashtray attached to the wall at entrance for those smoking and reduces litter

- Quite loud outside early in the morning and late at night but this is nothing to do with the hotel but worth mentioning nevertheless - While unstaffed (although rarely and only for a short while) the entrance doors are locked but there is a call button :) - No plug on sink in room
