The location was excellent, literally next to the metro station and in close proximity to some bakeries and small restaurants. However, be aware that street noise is definitely a factor; if you find it difficult to sleep in noisy areas, you might want to think twice. I loved the bed; it was comfortable, but the pillows were too big and not soft enough. If they address this issue, it would be perfect for someone like me Everyone was incredibly friendly, especially the person at the reception who resembles Santa Claus – he was an excellent host.

I enjoyed everything, except for the stairs – they are quite challenging. There's no lift, so if you have lots of heavy luggage, consider requesting a room on the first floor. Additionally, the pillows are quite uncomfortable. Using smaller, softer pillows would greatly improve the sleeping experience. I was aware of everything I'm mentioning here, so it was within my expectations.

Nice small hotel with friendly staff, located perfectly just in front of the metro station. You can find a lot of restaurants and small stores nearby. Very good for the price.

It was not an issue for us, but it is worth mentioning - there is no elevator and stairs are very steep. For healthy people with small suitcase it is not an issue, but if you have difficulties with walking or big heavy suitcase try to ask for a room on the ground floor.

Location to the metro and amenities ( restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores) was great. Staff was friendly and hotel felt secure. Locking front door with attendant - that seemed 24 hour. Room was small but that was expected and described accurately. Small fridge, kettle and microwave was great. Very clean and new towels offered daily. We were on the first floor and you could hear traffic, however ear plugs help. This 'business' is also what makes the location GREAT. A real, authentic and culturally diverse community. Lots of variety of food. Funky old building.

Bed was not very comfortable mostly due to pillows. Very clean though...we looked VERY closely due to bedbug hype in Paris. Steep stairs if mobility is an issue.

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with hot water, our own kitchen, and a private bathroom. The hotel does not have an elevator, but that wasn’t an issue for us since we were on the first floor. Perhaps the greatest advantage was that the Metro entrance (Line 9) is right in front of the hotel’s entrance. Additionally, there were many bus lines nearby, making transportation very convenient. The area is surrounded by plenty of bakeries, supermarkets, and small restaurants.

The area is noisy, with constant traffic on the road. This is good in a way for safety, but on the other hand, if you’re a light sleeper, you might struggle with that. Of course, this isn’t the hotel’s fault. A real drawback, however, was the difficulty with heating. Our room had a small radiator that needed to stay on all day to warm the room – but not the bathroom, where it remained cold :/ There should have been at least one more small radiator in there. Thankfully, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets :)

Location is great - right next to Metro station. You can walk 3 min longer and get to line 1, which takes to to main attractions in just 15 min. Hotel definitely has character (the little staircase is lovely!)

If you can not carry a big suitcase up and down the stair request a room on 1st or second floor -there is no lift. If you want to check out before 9 am-let them know - reception is not manned between certain hours. Shared bathroom was a problem for me-could never get in. You have to walk upstairs at night..

The hotel is extremely well located, the exit of the metro is in front of the hotel. The neighborhood is calm, and you have supermarket, chinese store, pharmacy, bakery a blovk away. The view from the toom is spectacular, but the stairs to go to the room are very small, so make sure that is not a difficulty for you. Rooms have fridge, kettle, coffee, and tea. Everything is very clean even considering that bathrooms are shared.

The rooms were clean and cleaned daily, there's a fridge in the room and a fan. The hotel is literally in front of the metro entrance that brings you to the city centre so great location, we were surprised by how quiet it is at night time (we had great sleep) and the hotel staff is also really nice. There's plenty of shops, restaurants and boulangeries around, anything you need is only a few minutes walk away!

The stairs to get to the upper floors are tough but totally manageable They only give you one towel per person, it's a bath towel, we would've appreciated an extra one to dry our face in the morning, but they change them every day so it was still ok

The hotel was exactly as advertised on Booking.com. It was clean, the room was small but comfortable. The cleaning staff cleaned every day. Towels were changed every 2 days. In front of the hotel, there is metro line number 9, which takes you to almost all the sights in Paris..The district where the hotel is located is very lively and full of restaurants and shops. For those who are light sleepers, I recommend bringing earplugs.

The only thing I didn't like was that the tourist tax listed on Booking.com was incorrect. Instead of 14 euros (as shown for 2 people for 7 nights), it was 36.40 euros.

Great location, the train was just outside the door, great spot outside of tourist town so got to see the real Paris. Right over the road from a couple of lovely cafe's and so many shops nearby. Thankyou :)

The door closers were very strong which made the clicking sound very loud in the hallway when we had to go to the bathroom in the night and we felt bad disturbing the other guests (but we didn't hear anyone else even though the building was full, so perhaps the soundproofing is fine).

The property was literally on top of the metro station we were that close and the line brought you straight into the city centre and you could connect to loads of different metro lines, the area was charming and had lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. We booked the room with the bathroom and it was hostel prices with hotel quality. We also recieved daily house keeping. While we were there the temperature reached 30 degrees celsius, however we were provided a fan and the bedroom widows both fully opened which allowed a lovely breeze. There was also a mini fridge which kept our drinks nice and cool in the heat. The staff were all so lovely and pleasant and overall we had an amazing time and would definitely return!!

If you read the reviews properly before you stay you will notice a lot of comments about the stairs, and we were in the fourth floor and i will admit they were tough, however we were out most days exploring and because we read the reviews we knew what to expect so therefore cannot complain.
