This was my last night in Ireland on route to Shannon Airport. It is a classic old home, full of antique furniture and artifacts. The bar area is really cool, old school. Pastoral views out the window of a spacious room. Rainy day, but beautiful grounds. It is super comfortable to hang out in the communal spaces on the ground floor. Although the restaurant is not open for lunch on Monday, the manager organized a sandwich and tea. This is boutique, family property.

You should be aware that Carrygerry is somewhat out of the way, on a country road. You need a car or cab to get to the closest town that is Shannon. Not really a problem since it was my last night in Ireland. Management will arrange a taxi to town and the airport.

A nice location, close to Shannon but out in the country with a nice quiet road to walk on. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom had good water pressure and immediate hot water. Our room was upstairs with a good view of the trees, fields, and livestock The staff were very friendly and helpful although some times they were a little hard to find.

Carrygeery House has obviously seen better days. It needs an extensive overhaul to freshen the place up. It has a large outdoor patio that looks like it could be very nice but needs lots of work. I'm not even sure it is usable right now. The indoors is decorated with period furniture and fixtures. There is a nice bar off with a pleasant place to sit and relax. We chose Carrygeery because of its location as we were going to meet family arriving at Shannon airport the next morning. It is about a 10 minute drive to the airport and a few minutes longer to go into Shannon town.

Loved this Manor type country house. Really quite an amazing surprise. I only booked as a sleep over on the way to Shannon. What a surprise to see it was a very professionally managed establishment. There was a bar and restaurant albeit we were not hungry. The room had a four poster bed. It was so traditional but not contrived like the touristy castles. We slept so well in a fab comfortable bed. The room was very big. Table and chairs, walk in wardrobe/ dressing room. It is a fine country house from a bygone Anglo Irish day. It was Christmas week and there was a display of country Christmas hampers for sale with local produce in the lobby. Very reasonably priced compared to the rubbish in the big shops in Dublin. No pressure to sell either. I would certainly stay again and hopefully have time for breakfast next time. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff.

What a magical place! So very close to Shannon Airport, yet it feels like being on an idyllic country estate no where near an airport. Everything about my stay was perfect. The bed was SO comfortable, the food was amazing, and their homemade preserves were so delicious I purchased six jars. From now on, this will be my go to place to stay after the exhausting overnight flight from Boston. We own a cottage on Achill Island, and the 3hr drive there is SO much safer and more enjoyable after a wonderful nights sleep at Carrygerry!

A beautiful comfortable stay. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating as soon as we arrived. They had a large party booked in and we were staying for easy access to the airport the next morning. They seated us for dinner before the party on very short notice. The dinner was beautiful. It’s a 10 minute drive from the airport. The family room we stayed in was very comfortable. We will definitely be back. It was immaculately clean.

There is nothing to dislike. Exceptional!

We missed our flight so needed a hotel close to airport with 2 rooms. This hotel exceeded our expectations and turned a nightmare day into a fabulous evening. We cannot compliment this hotel enough, the atmosphere was so friendly and you felt you had turned up at a friends house. We sat by the fire with our drinks in one of their cosy lounge areas talking to other guests and then moved to the restaurant to eat. The FOOD was amazing. Our only regret we had to leave before breakfast!

The room was beautiful and spacious and the staff was lovely!!!! Close to the airport too, which was really nice.

It would have been nice if they served breakfast earlier. 8:30 is awfully late for early risers and for most people flying out in the morning. It would have been nice to have had some flexibility for that.

Beautiful house in a lovely rural area close to Shannon airport; location makes it a great place to stay on the way in or out of Ireland; good wine selection; great service.

Flip side of the location is that there's not much in the local vicinity; however, it is good if you're looking to just relax and not compelled to do the tourist thing. Internet is not great (didn't matter to me, but FYI)

Loved the main house, sitting areas, bar and dining areas. The pastoral views are a treat while dining. The food is outstanding and award winning. The hospitality and service were second to none. I hope to return and stay in a different room in the main house. The house is less than 10 minutes from Shannon airport.

Our room, sycamore, was very humid and smelled musty. We opened windows and it helped. After a shower, the humidity stayed on the bathroom walls for hours. Other than that, the beds were comfortable and clean.

Very nice spacious room .clean and has all what u need from kettle .tea .water etc. I took quadruple room for famiily of 4. Bathroom was big and has bathtub & shower with all whats needed. I would stay there again or sure. Parking is just outside the house. Very convenient.

Location is away bit from shops etc , but when you see the view outside house in morning , its just beautiful
