I arrived by Metro at the Barajas station and sent a Whatsapp message I'd arrived there. The free hotel shuttle arrived 15 minutes later to bring me to the hotel. Driver spoke English. Excellent beginning to my stay! The driver pointed out a nearby restaurant and I went there for a late lunch/early dinner. Room was very comfortable and staff were pleasant. Free shuttle to the airport in the morning. Very convenient place to stay.

Hotel dining room has taxidermy animal heads mounted on the walls, including a zebra. And a few complete taxidermy smaller animals. I guess the owner or maybe a past owner goes to Africa to hunt them. I had to walk past this area going to and from my room. It made me very uncomfortable.

This hostel is really a hotel. Very modern, clean and an ideal location to the airport with an excellent restaurant/bar a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant is open from early morning until late at night but not on Sundays as the hotel does not serve meals.

The only minus point for us was the unexpected cost of having to pay for the “free bus” after 11:00 in the morning from the hotel to the airport. If a guest is in a tight budget it may come as a surprise. This is not mentioned on the site but free bus is mentioned numerous times.

The staff is very professional. The room was exceptionally neat and clean, it was just perfect. Whoever built and decorated the hotel paid attention to every single possible detail. It is realy more than good value for money. It is a place ideal to stay if you have to spend a nigth in Madrid between flights like we had to. The shuttle service from and to the airport is extra good organzed, you can choose at which time you want to be brought to the airport. In the small restaurant nearby we had a very good meal for a normal price.

It is not something we did not like, but it is not a place to stay if you are visiting Madrid, it is out of town and all you can see is warehouses and repair shops, its not nice or interesting, but fo people passing trough it is perfect and more than comfortable.

This hotel is perfectly located for people to overnight before flying out of Madrid. The shuttle service to and from the hotel is a welcome addition to the service. Breakfast before setting off was also very good and... just around the corner from the hotel is a convenient bar which provided excellent food in a friendly familiy environment. We had over forty hours of travel to reach our destination. The Hostal and bar gave us the chance to relax and recuperate after the first sixteen hour stage of our journey, putting us in a good frame of mind and physically prepared for the next stage. We will be using this hotal again.

Shuttle service was excellent, responsive for pick up at airport and good scheduling for drop-off. The room was likewise clean and all of the features including the window, window shade, heat and shower worked flawlessly. They did offer a breakfast for an additional 5 Euros which looked just fine (in real china not paper cups) although we left too early to take advantage of that. The nearby restauraunt/ bar Hermanos Romero is a local hang out with a fantastic menu of really well prepared dishes like Pulpo a la Gallega, pan fried octopus. Order it, it's amazing.

Lot's of jet traffic due to its proximity to the airport. That stopped around midnight so got a good night's sleep.

Marta and Alex, the young couple who own the place, are super friendly and are a fountain of information. The room was spacious and spotless, the bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. We had an overnight in Madrid and didn't want to stray too far from the airport. The hotel offers free airport pickup and drop off to its guests. It's an easy (less than 20 Euros) Uber ride into Madrid which is what we did.

Loved everything about the hotel. The location doesn't have a lot going for it except the fact that it's close to the airport.

Super nice staff. They really have free transfer to the airport and is excellent. It was all well cleaned. The breakfast is simple but is good and for a fair price (considering prices in Madrid). We stayed there the last night before our flight because of the proximity to the airport and because of the free transfer. It was a good decision, because uber in Madrid is expensive and was nice not have to worry about getting to that giant airport.

The couple bed is too small for a big couple.

We had a late arrival for a domestic flight within Spain. Hostal El Cruce provides a free transfer to and from the airport with lodging. The rooms are clean, and the beds are good. The price was right and perfectly met our needs.

The location is great for the airport, but nothing else

We stayed here for one night before catching our flight from Madrid the next day, and it was a great choice. The location is very close to the airport, which was super convenient. The shuttle service was accurate and on time, making our travel stress-free. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a good rest before our flight. Also, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth airport stay!

Location near the airport was convenient for a next morning flight, price was great if you want to save a few Euros. Room was clean, conversations in room next door were mildly interesting. Breakfast (not included) was very basic, machine coffee, orange juice, toast and marmalade, but for 5 Euros you can't really complain.

Room very basic, shower water lukewarm at best, walls very thin, you can hear the two ladies in the next room as if you were right in there with them. TV screen was small even by 1990'2 stabdards (20" at most) but it's Spain so there's nothing to see anyways. Not accesible to any reasonable restaurants or supermarkets unless you got a car' then it's 10 min drive to Brajas but over 1 h to central Madrid so really impractical. Lobby full of dead animals, owners appear to be avid trophy hunters so presumably many were killed by them, if this is a problem for you look somewhere else (breakfast was right infront of a dead fox chasing a dead gazalle, not particularly appetizing)...
