This was a magical trip and a really wonderful hotel to stay in. We had a room that was among the original cave rooms - and I feared it would be cold as it snowed one day while we were there, but it was warm and cozy. The shower was bar none the best shower I have ever been under. We did a lot of long day hikes in the valleys and returning to that shower was like going for a massage — amazing pressure, hot stones beneath your feet and real temperature. The breakfasts were incredible at the Caverna — so many plates, so many different things to try. Finally, the staff was so welcoming and helpful. Azat is a wealth information about the region. He was a guide in a former life and it showed — he taught us about the underground caves, ancient Christian monks, the pigeon coops. Plus he helped arrange our trips and was relentless in trying to get us a balloon ride after the one we booked was cancelled time and time again. He is a gem!

Our stay at Caverna Hotel Premium Caves was absolutely perfect. Even before we arrived, Azat went above and beyond—he was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation and assisting with planning activities. The room was beautifully designed and met all our needs. The shower was one of the best we’ve experienced—great water pressure and hot. The bathroom was thoughtfully laid out, with space for personal toiletries (something many hotels overlook), and the powerful blow dryer was a nice touch. Breakfast at the hotel was a real highlight. The traditional Turkish spread was both delicious and generous, and enjoying it with the stunning view made it even more special. The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot to relax. Although the balloons didn’t fly during our stay, we still made the most of it—bringing back a bottle of wine and enjoying the sunset from the terrace. The hotel’s location was also ideal—tucked just slightly uphill from the center of town, providing a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to everything. The reception team was warm and welcoming. Burit was especially kind and genuine—we found ourselves stopping by often just to chat. And of course, we loved visiting sweet little Rosie, the hotel dog. She made our stay feel even more like home. Highly recommend this charming hotel—we’d return in a heartbeat.

There was nothing that disappointed me - everything exceeded my expectations.

The staff were exceptional; they were all very kind and helpful. Azad arranged all of our tours/outings and went out of his way to make sure our plans and desires were met. Umit, Merac, and others were also very nice and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was a homemade meal with something different each day. We liked the location as it is at the end of the small town in a bit quieter area, but only a few minutes walk from the town center so everything is easily accessible. All in all, a very nice experience and would recommend to anyone traveling to Cappadocia/Goreme.

The whole experience was wonderful, the hotel is located about a minute's walk from the centre and an easy spot for pick-ups. We booked a triple room and the rooms large and spacious, the bathroom was also really big and very clean, and even had a tub. The breakfast provided was amazing! A real feast with a range of lovely turkish dishes, varying for each of the 3 days we stayed there. Azad and the staff were very helpful and gave us a lot of information.

The top floor viewing deck is only open for the room on the top. so make sure you book that room if you want the top deck.

We stayed in the large suite and even though we had snow we were toasty warm. The owner Azad and his staff Mirac were incredible. The breakfast is not your usual buffet but home cooked by a delightful woman Hulya and it is huge and fresh. They were all very helpful and personable. The hotel is a five minute walk to the shops and nightlife of Goreme. We definitely plan on coming back and exploring ore of this area. We had a wonderful conversation with Azad one morning about ancient sites and Turkish life. The kind of the thing that makes traveling worth while.

This Hotel is away from other busy hotels in a corner at the end of the street but on a slight hill. Easy access to and from downtown market. Easily accessible. Nice little reception with really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are great and very clean. Bathrooms are well equipped with great water pressure. Complete amenities and well maintained. Very nice ambiance cave rooms , better than many high end hotels. Views are stunning and breakfast was awesome. Staff even took special care of our special dietary needs. Very cute friendly puppy Rosie happily meeting all the guest.

Recommend the hotel to move cigarettes ash bins away from front of rooms as guest usually smoke around the ash bin and smoke and smell does leak into the rooms. Do add some table side lamps

The staff and management were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They made sure everything about our stay in Goreme was exceptional. Before our stay, they answered logistic questions as we were arriving from the airport and helped us to book a hot air balloon ride and excursions. The staff was quick to assist us with taking our luggage to our rooms (there were a couple of flights of stairs to our room). Arriving in the evening, we were impressed with how the hotel blended so well into the area and the setting was a bit magical and made for great photos and memories. The breakfasts provided were a feast for the eyes and offered many different dishes prepared fresh each morning. You won't go away hungry! They helped us with many details from laundry to Turkish Lire and were patient with our questions. We really want to thank them for allowing us to store our luggage on our last day, after checking out. They graciously allowed us to make ourselves at home during the afternoon, while we shopped, relaxed and enjoyed their patio and reception area. We arrived as strangers but felt we made new friends at the Caverna Hotel.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

Our stay in Caverna was a memorable one. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The bathrooms were big in size in our deluxe room and felt brand new. We were vegetarians and was worried about the options for breakfast but to our surprise we were served with a variety of options and the service time was very quick too. Mr Azat the incharge was a great host and was available to address all queries right from the time of booking till we checked out. He helped us with booking for the various tours and we got a good deal specially for the balloon ride when there were people outside who were charging extra because of cancellation the previous day. Airport pick up and drop were arranged by Mr Azat and everything happened seamlessly and on time without us having to follow up. Overall a fantastic experience and beyond money, the care shown to us and other visitors required a special mention as Mr Azat went beyond the way to treat us as his own guest.

The staff is really friendly, helpful and professional. They were patient with all my questions/ requests and always ready to help/ assist with a smile :) the breakfast was amazing with stunning views of the area. The terrace for balloon watching is also nice. The location is great especially if you come by car and very close to all main sight / main Street.The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious.

In general we had a great stay and I would highly recommend the hotel! Small areas for improvement: a shower head could be bigger to have a better water flow and our jacuzzi was a bit leaking, leaving the floor wet afterwards.

Caverna hotel was incredible. To list all of the things I loved about it would take several pages so I will just list a few. First, every single person working here was so kind and helpful, they made our stay memorable. The location was perfect, we had a breathtaking view of the balloons in the morning but were still far enough away from the town center that it was truly peaceful. The room was exceptionally clean and artfully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, I wish I had it for my home. The breakfast prepared every morning was delicious. I hope we get the chance to stay here again in the future.
