Great cave hotel with all cave advantages and disadvantages. Nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast.

For the balloon tour we were offered Brothers Balloons company and Royal Balloons, but we were late to get the second one and agreed with the Brothers, who were flying with our group far away from the most interesting area, claiming the day before, that they will take off from the right place, while the most of the balloons were taking off and down from the usual locations, so there was no wind matter anyway, as they could say. I'm visiting Cappadocia almost every year and know the situation very well. So, I won't advise anyone to fly with Brothers Balloons. It is not much about the hotel, but I should write it somewhere :-)

- Great location – just a few minutes’ walk to the city center, yet tucked away from the bustle. A scenic hiking trail right behind the hotel offers a spectacular view — highly recommended. - Best breakfast during my trip in Türkiye – authentic Turkish spread with great taste and variety. - Beautiful terrace view with hot air balloons floating by. - Warm hospitality – helpful with booking great tours (sunset ATV & horse riding) and flexible with late check-out for my night bus. - Small but cozy – clean and comfortable cave-style room.

The room can be slightly cold at night

The staff made the time here. The guy who checked me in, didn't catch his name, and the guy, Eren, who was there for the rest of the time I was there went above and beyond to be kind, chatty, and helpful. The room itself was quaint and well stocked and the appliances provided were in good working order and modern. The terrace gave incredible views and the views from the room were just as good. Breakfast is included but I didn't have the opportunity to try it so I can't comment on that.

Very minor problem but the bin in the bathroom was broken and you had to lift the lid manually

This is a clean hotel with excellent service. It is conveniently located near many restaurants and for easy pickup by the hot air balloon company's shuttle. The hotel owner was extremely helpful, accommodating and polite. He correctly advised us which were the best hot-air balloon companies to book with. In addition, at short notice using his contacts, he was able to arrange an amazing, over 2 hour long, private quad bike tour with a guide for around £20 per person.

The hotel is situated at a great location. The staff at the reception area was wonderful, special thanks to Alex who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was very comfortable. My cave room was roomy and comfortable. The terrace on the 5th floor has an incredible panoramic view of the city, and early in the morning, you can watch the hot air balloons taking off, an incredible experience not to miss! The breakfast was nice. I enjoyed my stay there, it was an unreal experience staying in a cave room. I’ll definitely recommend Gedik Cave Hotel to friends and family.

I am very glad that we chose this place to stay in Goreme, Cappadocia. We arrived at very late time and the receptionist was still waiting for us to check-in. The room we stayed in was very clean and cosy, Wi-Fi was working very well. The breakfast/dining area was on the covered rooftop area with an amazing panoramic view of the whole city. I really liked that even though this place is in the city centre, it was very quiet in the room and in the whole hotel territory. I would like to express my huge thanks to the receptionist Iskander for his help during our stay! I will highly recommend Gedik Cave Hotel to my friends and would be happy to stay here again.

The staff. Alex was extra helpful. The room attendant made sure we had clean towels and water everyday

We arrived. One day late because the airline cancel oye flight. We requested credit for that night and it was declined because we did our reservation through booking.com. We asked a second time for somevtype of reimbursement and nothing was done. So, that was a disapointment. Also, our room had a big termite issue. The staff sprayed the room, but it seems they need more than that.

This hotel is really the best hotel you could find in Goreme. All the staff were so attentive and helpful. Abdullah helped us book everything last minute, including a hamam massage, the green line tour, balloon tour, a sunset tour and transportation to and from the hotel, and we had the greatest trip. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. We were also able to walk to the sunset point Overall the best hotel you could find in Goreme don’t hesitate to book.

It’s in a very central area that is easy to get around. The head of the staff was super friendly and nice.

There is no air conditioning so rooms were a bit warm with only a fan. So that’s something to be aware of. Also one of the cleaning staff tried to get me to buy some stuff from her in my room. Felt very forced and uncomfortable.

This is a wonderful hotel. Apo, the owner, is a very attentive, friendly, engaging and extremely helpful guy, who really goes the extra distance for his guests! His hotel has a great location, beautifully appointed rooms, and a very friendly and efficient staff. The shower is hot, with strong water pressure. The view is magic. Göreme is an extraordinary town in an amazing district. An excellent experience. A terrific value! Highly recommended. I will be back!
