We had a magical stay! The staff was very helpful, friendly and honest. Gave us tips and excursion options, without being pushy to book. Good breakfast, authentic cave room and very comfortable bed. We booked a hot air balloon flight up front via the hotel. Upon arrival they told us the price had changed. The actual day price from the agencies was lower than anticipated. Instead of making a big profit on us, they were honest and we had to pay €70 pp less. We even got a room upgrade for free. Genuinely good guys who want you to have the best time in Cappadocia!

It’s a beautiful place with the most wonderful people working there! I stayed 2 nights and I wish I could stay longer. I was feeling so welcomed as if they were family or friends! Especially the young beautiful lady at the reception named Sheyda (forgive me if I misspell the name). The cave suite was lovely, impeccably clean and comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast was like a feast on a beautiful terrace, with lots of choices, everything fresh and tasty. The location is perfect, very close to the center and only 5-7 minutes walk up to the view point where I went at dawn to see the hot-air balloons! I will remember this place and this experience as one of the most beautiful things in my life.

The breakfast was great with a wide range of selection. The room was better than I had anticipated and the Goreme town center is jjust walking distance. The hotel is also close to the bus station. Upon leaving - one hostess came to chat offering us to stay in the lounge area while waiting for our bus and helped us with some advise for our next destination.

The bathroom had some leaks water would seep out from the shower closet. Dryer was not working but was replaced when requested. Could have better light setup - one switch for all lights instead of being able to switch off per section.

Great room, amenities and staff service. It is situated a little short walk uphill. Otherwise close to everything. There are 2 entrances into the reception area.

So that no one gets dissapointed to plan a sunrise hot balloon pics. the rooftop area was not as shown in the promo picture. We were unpleasantly told the space no longer exists. The space is currently used for rooftop bar and restaurant. Too many lights tall bar stools. The hotel should remove the first promo photo to reduce misadvertisement.

I arrived at this hotel for my three night stay to be told that I'd been upgraded to a cave suite with a private terrace. What a fantastic start to my stay! I was a little ill with a cold for most of my stay so to have this very comfortable room and the Olympics on TV was a godsend. This was also the last three nights of a six week holiday so I fully intended to relax with or without a cold. It's ideally situated in town and close to all of the shops and restaurants but also very quiet. The rooms are tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable Breakfast was superb and the staff could not have been friendlier. I had to leave before breakfast was served on my last day and they alerted the kitchen so that I could have breakfast early.

Friendly, helpful staff who organised many activities in the area for us. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a great view. The view from the Terrace was beautiful at sunrise and in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

The complete journey from booking to checking out was smooth and satisfactory. The staff is friendly and helpful. A special mention to Sefa who helped us pre-book our local travel itinerary. The packages offered by the hotel are convenient for a first-time tourist in the region. Sefa provided us complete itinerary as per our requirements and guided us on WhatsApp chat even before landing in Turkey. His fluency in English made it easier to share our preferences for site-seeing. With the support of Sefa and the staff, our complete local tour plan was finalised before arrival, including the airport pick-up and drop services. The hotel is located in close proximity from the major restaurants and shopping stores. The rooms at the cave hotel were clean and absolutely in lines with the images shared on the website. We were upgraded to complimentary King Suite, which was spacious and grand. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of Turkish specialties. The staff was friendly and at our service for all our requests. Sefa and the rest of the staff made us feel at home with their warm hospitality.

The wifi connection was poor at times, but it used to be restored quickly, not creating a major havoc.

The charges for hot air balloon the host charged us was much more than what others who were with us paid for. Watch out before booking for those stuff as alot of travel agencies you will find in the market. However it is very convenient if you book with the host and if you don't mind paying a little extra then it should be okay.

We stayed Dervish cave suites in Dec’23 in Room 302 which has two bedrooms and a living room, with one bathroom. This was as seen in the pics in booking.com. The room was clean and well furnished. Had proper heating and hot shower. Located in center of Goreme with roof top views for hot air balloons. Parking was comfortable. Friendly staff, Shefa was very supportive and friendly. They can help with all tourist attractions and packages like hot air balloons, ATV tours, Ski etc. but the prices for such tour packages might be cheaper outside. Breakfast is repeated and can be improved. Overall a good experience, we enjoyed the stay.

During our last day of stay, there was some construction going on in the near by hotel which was just the other side of the wall. The digging noise was very disturbing in the morning and Dervish team could only delay them sometime from doing it. May be it was a maintenance activity, but it was disturbing us. We would have stayed one more day if it was not there.

We were allowed to check in early and upgraded to bigger room sleeps four pax which are ready for the early check in. The bathroom are so spacious with jacuzzi for our use.. Hotels has own restaurant to cater for lunch and dinner and will be given discount if dine in.. while breakfast are served at another cafe.  Dervish hotel  has 2 buildings where the reception and roof terrace are in one building so you must cross the road to get to the reception and walk up to the terrace to watch the balloon flight early in the morning.

Towel heater only function during certain hours. One light switch will off or on for all 5 lights so there is no night lamp and no side table lamp available.. so we have requested for one which they hv provided to us..
