Absolutely everything! Ascension is in the best location right by the view point. The staff are very approachable and friendly. Room 120 has the best views of Goreme from its own private balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was the best start to the day. I absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxurious cave hotel that’s affordable and good value for money.

Nothing. However it must be noted that cave rooms have dust and stones falling from the ceilings - this is perfectly normal.

The location was right in the middle of spectacular caves. Breakfast was good and with a view. We checked in late and 24 hrs staff was available. The rooms were spacious and as seen in pictures. Walking distance to the View point is a bonus. Staff is very supportive,

Everything was perfect. Bigger vehicles like mini bus may not reach the hotel reception and may stop down the steep hill, however, this is manageable. Few dust particles fall off from the roof's ceiling, as it is designed as a cave room.

Very different than other hotels, great breakfast - vegetarian friendly. Close to many restaurants and different sites. Staff was great and helped us organize airport shuffle. Staff member Samet was very helping in organizing a last minute shuttle too! Would stay again here. There was also a very nice view of the city, not far from our place. Since we were residents at the hotel, we didn't have to pay extra entrance fee.

Water temperature for showers took a couple minutes to heat up and could be warmer, but manageable and not really a big issue.

Hospitality of the hotel staff was very friendly . Emir, Mihriban , Mustafa and Samet were so nice to us from entering the hotel until leaving the hotel. Hotel breakfast had so much variety and plenty of food to have . Location of the hotel was great , easily accessible to viewing point for the balloons in the morning so no need to travel long way to see them .. the property is located in asiklar vadisi and very close to the centre of goreme .

We loved every moment of staying in this hotel . We had a lovely terrace to sit at night to enjoy the view of goreme

Room was beautiful and clean. Overall good value. Staff was friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was good with good selection. The location of the hotel is higher up in altitude than many other hotels. This can be cool due to the beautiful surrounding views. Keep in mind though this often makes it difficult for vehicles to drive up. When you are walking around the city of Goreme, coming back up to the hotel can be a bit of a treacherous inclined walk up.

Window blinds were very thin so we had to use towels to cover the windows to reduce light coming in when we were trying to sleep. Staff/people would converse outside our room early in the morning which was disruptive to sleeping.

Rooms are spacious and clean, we booked 109 (4 persons) and 120 (private balcony) Breakfast was great, good variety, one nice lady staff w good english Location is near from sunset sunrise point, and we don't need to pay for the entrance View from private balcony was great

Location was too high, in the room was many up and down floor, quite challenging for elder people Private balcony no chairs for seating.. also not worth if no luck to have balloon ride in the morning.. just nice landscape view without hot air balloon flying Many reviews on the very helpful staf which I find so so, not that outstanding.. an example our flight back to IST was at 10.40.. suggested to leave at 8AM.. in some reviews the hotel provide breakfast to go, but not in our case, though we have asked for it.. the breakfast available at 8.30 and we were leaving at 8.15.. the hotel staff didn't bother to accommodate.. Asked for private transfer from and to airport, but we got the shared ones.. not big issue but just different from my expectation

Loved the hotel, very charming. Great staff, everyone is very nice and helpful. Good breakfast and coffee. Hotel has perfect location. Comfortable beds and slept well. I would definitely stay here again and good value for what we paid.

My only complaint is the showers, we had two rooms and one shower wasn’t draining water properly, while the other shower wasn’t getting hot water. To be fair, we did not make a complaint to staff about this so I’m not sure what the resolution would have been. The shower glass could have also been scrubbed more throughly between guests.

In summary, I loved everything about the hotel. The location was awesome, amazing views from room itself, also 2-3 mins walk up to a very scenic observation deck that overlooks most of Goreme, including Uchisar castle. The staff were welcoming and helpful in every way. The rooms were clean, hot water and heating working fine, all needed amenities provided in room. This was a solo trip but I would love to come back here again some day with my family and would surely stay at this hotel.

Nothing really....the walk up may be a bit difficult for some people but thats the choice we make for getting an amazing view

The size of the room was enough to accommodate 6 people, the breakfast buffet had many options. Location is very near to the balloon watching and sunrise and sunset point you can reach there by walking for 5 mins.. Restaurants & market lane is nearby you can walk and explore the scenic roads.
