Price-quality wise, the hotel was great. It was very clean too. The people at the reception were really friendly! The food and drinks were really good and at affordable prices.

The only reason why I gave a “bad” score for hygiene: We knew the room wouldn’t have a window/natural daylight, but then you’d expect a good ventilation system. The room was really damp/moist/quite smelly, especially after a couple of days staying there. Besides this, the AC could only be put on heat, not on cold. They told us this was a hotel-wide setting because it’s winter. I honestly can’t imagine we were the only ones having an issue with the room being crazily warm. They provided us with a fan though, which made it better but it was quite noisy. Another thing: the reception staff was sooo friendly and we kinda felt like the bar staff missed the same training in friendliness the reception clearly did have. The bar staff kinda looked/sounded like they all didn’t wanna be there.

Even though we were much older than their regular clientele the staff were very friendly & helpful and looked after us, giving tips on where to visit & dine. Decor was smart and good seating area in both the bar/ restaurant area called the Front and in the rooftop pool, bar and lounge area called Above. We had one of the best full English breakfasts in a hotel there.

Nice to stay in a "buzzy" trendy small hotel but, for us, the music both by the pool on the Sunday afternoon and in the Front until midnight was rather too loud.

Fantastic rooftop pool, bar and food service. This was mirrored in the fantastic vibe of the lobby where you could order your a la carte breakfast and food and drink all day. The staff were so friendly and helpful!

The drawback is that the rooms feel a bit dated, dark and dingy… I was on the first floor so I didn’t get a lot of light in my room. Also the air conditioning unit is really old & so loud - I could barely sleep. It was not possible to sleep with the air conditioning unit switched on - and the same about the fridge - it’s a tiny mini fridge which was so loud I turned it off at night. The rooms could do with a refresh of bright paint and new aircon units.

The administration (reservation, check-in, check-out) was smooth and fast. The staff was extremely nice. There were several choices for breakfast, it was delicious and filling. I think the rooms look good, but for those who don't like the fact that there are no windows and the walls are painted dark, it might be oppressive. It's a matter of taste. The accommodation shared in advance that there are live music nights, which can be loud, you could hear it somewhat in the room, but I was able to sleep perfectly well next to it. Overall, it was a perfect accommodation.

There is no window, so it was difficult to dry a swimsuit. My girlfriend missed the hairdryer.

Very modern, nice place. The apartment was big enough, well equipped kitchen, really big and comfy bed, free air conditioning in the bedroom as well, as in the living room. You get a free welcome drink - The rooftop bar is really nice! Really close to a supermarket and the bay.

- you need to pay 20€ to use a sun bed (you can spend it on drinks) and have to use their extra towels - its partly very loud because of live music in the bar and the DJ on the rooftop - constructions across the street, not the best view

Nice, Modern building. Super friendly staff and delicious food! Great location, close by the beach there is beautiful rooftop pool, and diving centre pool in the basement. We absolutely loved hotel provided breakfasts and ended up eating pretty much any meal in their restaurant. (+ bar with great cocktails, big thanks to the whole team, especially Taz and Sachin for their hospitality) Moreover, we even managed to check-in slightly earlier since our room was ready, as well as leave our luggage in the storage after the check-out, which is a huge bonus for us! There was also always some event happening in the evening to entertain guests with some night program:) The hotel definitely did their best for the money we paid!

wifi was a quite slow in our room but that’s really just the only thing

The hotel feels very fresh, the premises are either new or fully renovated as of July 2025, no worn-out elements, no mold or stained towels. Great spot for such a remote location (keep in mind it's still a 3-star hotel tho).

The nightly live music is genuinely disturbing. You will not be able to fall asleep (we were all warned about it in the fint print, but didn't take it seriously -- which proved a mistake). They do finish around 11pm, but sometimes that is just too late.

Great location, only few minutes from the sea. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. FRONT Bar at the Block is amazing, live music most nights, great food and drinks. There is a pool and rooftop bar as well. It was my second time staying. Highly recommend it. They also have their own dive center, RITUAL, which is super nice. The connection to Xlendi from the port and Victoria is also easy with buses.

All staff was warm, smiling, and very helpful from the cleaners to the bar staff, which is always a big plus! Receptionists all very young but so polite and professional, like I hardly meet nowadays even in more expensive hotels. Cherish them! The breakfast was cost-effective for the hotel ( not big buffet displays) but well-presented and nutritious. And it's served up to 12! The welcome drink is a nice touch. The room was basic ( I knew it already, nothing misleading in the booking page) but very clean, AC worked perfectly, and the wifi signal was strong. I would say great value for money. The beach and all the restaurants are literally 3 minutes walking distance

The reception staff could not have been more helpful. Alison, Olivia and especially Teadora - Teadora went out of her way to help me on more than one occasion - getting me cream to rub on my jellyfish sting. Also it's a nice touch to be offered a free drink in the bar as part of the accommodation package.

The hotel contacted me in advance to say that my room didn't have natural sunlight in case I wanted to upgrade. I didn't bother, figuring I would look at the room first and hopefully change there and then. But when I checked in the only rooms available were the much more expensive apartments, so I had to stay in the room I'd booked. As the hotel says these are rooms that are really only suitable for a few nights because there is no outside window. But the price is very good and reflects this. One thing though is that if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep before midnight this probably isn't the place for you to stay because of the live music in the bar every night. But despite this it is a nice hotel.
