Location was superb, as was view from our room. The food and drink were great - at the expensive end of the scale but this a central tourist location so to be expected. Team were great, helpful and pleasant, and service was quick.

Our room was quite small because the en-suite had been built into what would have been a good sized bedroom. Again this is to be expected in any period converted property. The bathroom itself was a little dated and in need of an upgrade. Everything worked but sink was very slow to empty, toilet cistern took an age to refill and the electric shower flow was very weak. For the price of the room I think an upgraded bathroom is a fair expectation.

Lovely place with fantastic views, very quite location, within easy reach of local attractions. The staff where really friendly and welcoming. Room was a good size with large comfortable bed. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, the bar was cosy and comfortable with a vast array of whiskys, gins and rums, expertly served with suggestions on the best way to enjoy them. I did not like the fact the room was not automatically refreshed with tea/coffee facilities during the stay and they had wooden stirrers not spoons. You had to leave your key, which a little frustrating.

We absolutely loved the location, the restaurant, and the cozy bar. The staff were extremely helpful with gin selections. The "Luxury"Pods" were really nice and suited our needs just fine.

The instructions for the heat and on-demand hot water would have been helpful to have in the room. While I know they can't fix what they don't know about, I chose not to redress and walk down to the office to learn how to operate the appliances. The result was a cold or scalding trickle from the shower, and no heat through the night. Instructions in the room would have solved the issue.

The food was really nice. We had dinner (haggis & chicken roulade for my friend and the salmon for me). Well seasonned and tasty. Scottish breakfast was really good as well. The staff was very nice and Karen was especially friendly, it was very nice to have a chat with her over breakfast. The view in the breakfast room was spectacular and we got to eat while watching the sunrise above the mountains. February this year is very quiet so we got the hotel almost to ourselves which was nice and we felt very welcome. Thank you again to Karen and the gentleman at the bar !

The room had an amazing view. The aesthetics of the property is quite good and curated. The place offers a great experience of something between comfort of a B&B and a hotel.

The menu for Dinner is limited 4 mains. And the menu doesn't change from one day to another. That is a drawback. The Breakfast needs an overhaul. Very limited options. Atleast the coffee could be improved. The room had a scenic view but the bathroom needs some upgrade. The flow of water in the shower is too low. And very limited charging Socket in the room. Just one.

Breakfast and dinner were both great. We loved the ambiance of the bar area in particular. The views form the dining room and the bed chamber were both beautiful! The staff was friendly and the other guests nicely chatty.

The room itself was small (which we knew going in) but hadn't realized quite how small. There was a low light hanging in the only walking path of the small space we kept hitting our heads on and the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I totally understand we chose a smaller room option, but this was the most expensive per night hotel we stayed in on our 10 day trip and it was the worst room of the bunch.

Central location to get out and about each day , so much so that we stayed an extra night . Beautiful views from our room & restaurant. Quiet location tucked away from the main roads . Staff are lovely , in particular Stefano !!!! His enthusiasm to engage with guests was really lovely & we do hope he has the best experiences working around the world . He has a lot to offer colleagues in the future for a well balanced attitude towards customer service . Thanks Stefano , from The Darlings .

Excellent breakfast. Plenty of choice and nothing too much trouble. Fabulous view over the loch at breakfast to set u up 4 the day. Location perfect for us and our second visit. Room adequate for our needs and best of all barely any road noise. Nice and quiet.

We selected a small double room via booking. com which was exactly that. With hindsight we should have selected a standard room but that was our only misgiving. It was as described so have only ourselves to blame for that. When checking out we discussed our options 4 next year and the chap on reception couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good, and although we had other plans for dinner guests we spoke to were very enthusiastic about it; we were able to enjoy an after-dinner drink in the cosy bar! We were delighted to find so many Iain McIntosh drawings gracing the walls, known to us as the illustrator of books by Alexander McCall Smith, a family friend. We loved the portrait, and also appreciated the books in the lounge (including a couple of shelves featuring McCall Smith). We weren't able to ask about the hotel's connection with Iain McIntosh. And of course we love the location, at the foot of Glencoe - spectacular in its autumn colours!

Nothing at all to complain about.

The food was fantastic, top quality and breakfast included in the deal for such an excellent price! The room was fantastic very clean, bed was comfy and clean. Room was stocked with water and coffee, biscuits and cups. We booked the room with the view of the river and it had fantastic views. The over vibe of the hotel was so cosy, the distillery with the fire ongoing was so warm and welcoming. Staff were ever so helpful and kind. All our needs where met and our expectations where exceeded!! Will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future :)
