Classy, stylish and superb service. Excellent in every respect, and we are seasoned travellers, hard judges and hospitality industry professionals! We suspect this property is clearly owned and run by a truly professional hotelier who has trained their team very well. The attention to detail is fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, the welcome was warm, the food, and service, in the restaurant for dinner was extremely enjoyable, the bed was so comfortable, the standard of housekeeping extraordinarily good with quality amenities. Speaking of quality, the coffee made by, clearly, a professional barista was unexpectedly good, breakfast was equally impressive. We enjoyed a requested late check out, so took advantage of being able to have a quiet lazy morning including a relaxing bath. When we checked out the ‘fond farewell’ was genuine from Guest Service staff and a wish from the barista to have a safe flight. Absolutely brilliant!

Perfect place to stay in a central location to explore the town - everything is easy to walk to, the hotel & rooms are new & clean exactly like the pictures. It has a very cosy boutique hotel feel. The staff are very helpful, there is a free shuttle you can request to drop you off to places in the old town, we were given generous drink vouchers to use for our stay. There is a small restaurant onsite and the food there is excellent. There was a problem with the water one morning but we called reception and it was fixed within 5 minutes (note the water is not too hot but this isn't really a big deal in the heat). We really enjoyed our trip to Chiang Mai and our stay in this hotel.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Chiang Mai. I love every staff member here, including everyone at 294 Bistro. The pool may be small, but it’s very comfortable. Soaking in the water under the bright sun while enjoying a drink is amazing! Also, this place serves the best Thai milk tea I’ve ever had in Chiang Mai! The room was absolutely perfect. We booked the highest-tier room, and it was incredibly spacious. The sunlight streaming into the room created a mesmerizing play of light and shadow!

Adults only, is a game changer! The staff are so sweet and caring, you get special drink vouchers (coffees, teas, sodas) for their exceptional cafe. The local food and western food is delish too!

If I had to be extra critical, there was no space for sun loungers by the pool. But with chiang mai’s every changing weather, we only really dipped in the pool, so it wasn’t a huge issue

Lovely place! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean, nicely designed. It is a charming hotel with a nice pool. The staff is exceptional, extremely polite, helpful, kind. They helped us throughout our stay with efficiency and kindness. It is an amazingly warm-hearted team who makes you feel at ease. The bistro is very good and offers a lot of choices. We hope we can go back to The Shamrock Hotel again! A big thank you to all the people of the team.

Great boutique style hotel. Good location in old town. Lovely decor and felt very new and fresh. Beds were comfortable and room was large and private. Pool and common areas were relaxing. Walking distance to weekend markets. Easy access to rest of old town with hotel buggy which was a fantastic service. Staff were very kind and attentive, made the stay feel very personalised - even gave us a birthday cake on arrival! Would recommend a stay here. Special mention to Cleo who was very lovely to us.

Love this place! Interior design really fits my aesthetics, room is spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is in a quiet corner in the old town, close to the hustle and bustle with lots to do yet very peaceful at night, and you can hear birds chirping the morning. We also got complimentary drinks - the coffee, soda and hot chocolate were all delicious. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

This was our favorite hotel of our entire trip! The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was beautifully designed, and both the room and the entire property were spotless, with great attention to detail. Another big plus was the location—it’s right in the Old City, making it easy to explore Chiang Mai’s temples, markets, and restaurants on foot.

Amazing staff service - everyone was always willing to help, assist in whichever way they can. They’re all very proactive and attentive to guests’ needs. They would recommend places to visit, offer a ride at nearby spots, and everyone is just smiling and seem happy. Really exceptional :)

Nothing in particular but just note there are no elevators - so be prepared to take a few flight of stairs.

It’s modern, very well appointed, and conveniently located. It’s a true oasis in the city and the pool area was a wonderful place to cool off with a swim and a drink. The restaurant is great - the smoothies and smoothie bowls are particularly delicious. The employees are truly exceptional - they are very welcoming and helpful and ensured we had a wonderful stay.
