Hotel Vaka is more like a hotel for a short stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The venue is close to a huge shopping mall, so you easily can get some food if you need to. But not for breakfast, because the hotel provides a very nice and rich buffet-breakfast w different eggs, hams, cold plates, and sweet. Cofee is really fresh and good as well. It was a short and nice stay. A safe parking place is also provided for guests.

The location is a bit tight and not the easiest to find. The reception and dining area are a bit tight, so you have to plan if you want to have your breakfast properly. Other than that all is well.

Loved the cosiness of the Vaka with its resident cat and super-friendly staff. The secure carpark was a nice bonus. It was handy having a shopping centre nearby. The journey into the city centre was short and simple by bus/taxi - could even walk it. Liked being able to walk straight out into an area of parkland above the hotel. It was so quiet around the hotel.

Loved everything about the Vaka. If I had one criticism it would be that they required a lot of information/form filling at checkin which I didn't encounter at other hotels on our journey. Why ask for everyone's home address etc. when you have my credit card.

the breakfast was decent, the same everyday even though weve been there for 7 nights ,wanted a bit of change in the meals. the rest was great , huge thank you to Margarita for the help, she was the only one who spoke with us the same language and it was nice.

Everything was great . the only issue was that the hotel was far from center and you will need transportation to reach to get there. But there is a large shopping center nearby, a 5-minute walk away, and there is a Tesco store there where you can buy food and essentials

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, good air conditioning. The location of the hotel is really convenient: near the hotel, there's a big shopping centre and also a bus stop that helps you get to many essential parts of Brno without the need to drive your car. It's also convenient, as it's very close to the main roads of Brno, which can save you from the hassle of driving through the city centre.

There was tea, coffee and small delicious biscuits in the room as gifts. Even though I didn't use it, it was an advantage to have a kitchen counter with a microwave oven and a mini sink. The bathroom was nice and clean. The fruits at breakfast were nice and there were things I don't normally see in other hotels, such as biscuits, croissants and wafers.

Breakfast variety was limited. I can't say there is much variety for those who don't eat meat or salami.

We had a very warm welcome from the friendly receptionist of the hotel. She checked our booking, we got all details we needed (wifi, times of breakfast, 24 hours front desk in case we would need something,...) and she told us how to get to the city centre (there is a bus next to Tesco or you can walk). You don't have to pay for the car park in front of the hotel. The room (and the whole hotel) was very clean and nice. There is a little kitchen in the room, a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bed and a little desk with seat. The upper floors can be reached by lift. Next to the hotel is Tesco (which is open till the late evening) for little things to buy. The hotel is situated quite fine for walking to the city centre. It took us just about 20 minutes along the main road to get there. Breakfast is served as a buffet with many different things to choose from. Very delicious. The check-out was easy and the woman at the desk was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at Vaka hotel and will be back next time we visit Brno.

I liked the kitchen sink and cupboards as part of the room, very practical. I also liked that my bathroom had a big window with a spacious inner windowsill that served as a shelf. Location is good if you have a car. There's a bus stop for the bus 67 next to the hotel but it's always packed as people use it to get to the shopping centre.

Carpets need deep cleaning. The vent in my parent's bathroom didn't work. The breakfast room could be a bit more spacious and cozy.

The staff was friendly, there was all we needed in the room, the hotel is pet-friendly (did not have to pay any extra for our small dog). It was clean, with strong wi-fi, solid breakfast and parking that was locked at night.

Strong smell of probably cleaning chemicals in the lobby, corridors and in the room. Would be good to renew the carpets in the room.

Friendly personal, from reception to the breakfast room and the cleaning team ❤️ enough parking, option to charge EVs, Shopping center with 12 fast food style restaurants just across the street, but still located quietly for a comfortable rest at night. Only suggestion for improvement would be some international TV channels on a larger screen 😉

Nice, quiet little hotel, with parking . Helpful staff. Comfortable bed, foam, I think. Quiet air conditioner. Excellent, tasty breakfast with a lot of options, both savory and sweet. Very good coffee machine with very good coffee. Nice plants in the hallway. And a sweet cat, who has been there since the beginning, I was told, for about fifteen years 🙂
