Very convenient location! You just try the little restaurant across the street ! I was in Greece for a month and by far best meal! Moussaka was massive and not overdone with béchamel on top! The lamb omg! Just get it! Owners amazing! Two beers, sparking water , Greek salad , lamb and moussaka under 40 euros. Loved Anafiotika !

Fantastic room, wonderfull view off the acropolis, staff excellent, location ideal, delicious breakfast, clean and cozy, taxi nicely arranged for us. When in Athens we Will return to this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home hotel, from the moment we arrived the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, especially Emmanuela. Our room was lovely ,it's not your typical hotel room but one that makes you feel at home immediately, big comfortable beds, wooden floors and an old world decor that endears you to the place. Its in a great location situated in a quiet laneway and close to everything ,shops ,sights and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, the staff attentive and helpful for any requests you may have. The housekeeping staff also amazing, having the room made up almost immediately after leaving your room which we appreciated. We stayed in a classic double room ,loved the balcony and the air conditioner worked well during the hot weather we experienced during our stay. Highly recommend Sweet Home Hotel for your stay in Athens , it did feel like you were home!

Nothing, everything was great.

Location is best, in the middle of city center but still quiet. All team is kind and helpful. You will understand what is Mediterrenian soul. Breakfast is great. They are cooking in the middle of breakfast hall and it's nice to watch them. Hotel ambians is unique, You will like their gramophone collection. My room was very small but actually there were other options, I choosed this one so I can't say this as a negative thing.

I spent two days at Sweet Home Boutique Hotel and couldn’t be more pleased. The location in Plaka is unbeatable—peaceful in a side street, yet steps from historic sites, shopping, and great tavernas. The staff, particularly Aphrodite and her team, made me feel like family, always ready with thoughtful recommendations and even a breakfast box when I needed to head out early. The decor is uniquely charming: vintage chandeliers, hardwood floors, and an impressive basement display of gramophones and antiques. My room was cozy and comfortable, with great air conditioning and a minibar. Each morning’s buffet breakfast offered a lovely variety of fresh, local fare.

We had an excellent stay at Sweet Home Hotel, right in the city centre of Athens. As a family of four, we stayed in the suite on the 4th floor — a modern, brand-new, and exceptionally spacious room that was spotless and fresh, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A heartfelt thank you to the lovely ladies at breakfast and the kind chef, who cheerfully accommodated all our special requests — always with a warm smile. The reception staff were equally impressive: polite, welcoming, and eager to help us plan our days and assist with anything we needed. If you're looking for a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Athens, this is the perfect choice.

It was a beautiful, cozy and well kept kept property that made you feel right at home. All of the staff were incredible - warm and accommodating as well. When we arrived at 8am jet lagged from an overseas flight, Aphrodite, the manger on site, generously upgraded our room at no fee and checked us in early allowing us to rest and enjoy our stay and the accommodations even earlier. The homemade breakfast in the morning in the morning was a beautiful treat made in the kitchen right on the same floor which added to the cozy feeling of the space. The room was quaint and adorned with beautiful details too. We can’t wait to return!

Everything went well. The Staff is exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. The room was excellent. The breakfast is outstanding. The location is convenient to almost everything. There are many restaurants in very close walking distance.The area is safe. It is easy to get to tourist attractions, including the ferry’s to the various islands. All types of retail locations are within easy walking distance. We have stayed here before and returned specifically to Sweet Home. Don’t hesitate, stay here!

The shower water pressure was excellent. The shower stall could have been a little larger.

We had a very special experience at the hotel. From the moment we walked in after a long drive, we met Dina who welcomed us with a glass of orange juice and a big, inviting smile. In the morning, we met Aphrodite, the owner of the place, in the dining room, who did everything to make the guests feel the best with indulgent food that fills the stomach and soul. The hotel is tastefully decorated and is in a perfect location, a small, quiet street that is very close to the city center and all the tourist attractions. .From now on, Sweet Home Hotel, is our home in Athens. We are already waiting to meet you again.

Great Breakfast. Great Hospitality. Great Location Comfortable beds. Shower was great. Clean. I love how Quaint it is. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The wooden staircase and mini museum in the basement make this a very special place to stay.

The bathroom was really, really small. And you can hear other people in their rooms (a lot more than you’d expect). I suggest downloading an app with white noise- it helped alot. You couldn’t shut the door without making a ton of noise. We had a balcony view of a demolished lot and parking garage… it’s a common scene in Athens though.
