The staff at the Arlington was amazing! I have to give a particular shout out to Ben. The guy never tookna day off and was always hustling! We had some issues our first few days and he was always the man with the answers. I feel horrible I forgot to leave him a tip. The Arlington was extremely accommodating and fixed any concerns we had in a very timely fashion. Thank you!!! The location is perfect as it is centrally located. The entire staff from housekeeping, to the front desk, to the restaurant were all extremely kind and helpful. We arrived after a red eye flight and they were able to find us a room so we could check in early and take a quick nap. The Celtic Dance show and dinner is a must and the nightly live music in the bar was wonderful too. I highly recommend!

I guess the only thing we didn't like was that it doesn't have air conditioning but we knew that prior to booking and they provide a fan in the room and also provided us a second one when we asked.

I loved the location, just across the river from a lot of the most famous tourist sites like Trinity College. This puts them within walking distance but slightly removed from the overwhelming crush of people. There are also plenty of great things on the hotel's side of the river: my daughter's favorite thing in all of Dublin was the Portal that gave a video connection to cities in Poland, the U.S. and Lithuania. As far as the hotel, it give you everything you'd want in a hotel and for a decent price. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, the hotel restaurant is good, etc.

Our room on the second floor was close enough to the street that cigarette smoke wafted into our open windows and we could hear drunken conversations/arguments in the alley into the night. Not the hotel's fault though!

Had a very pleasant experience with this hotel: Location: absolutely perfect, was within 10 mins walk (if not less) than anywhere I needed to be, including airport pickup-drop off location; museums; and excursions pickups. Food: only had breakfast a few times (€15.50 is a little steep, I feel, but it’s the capital, so expected), and dinner once. Very satisfactory. Room: very spacious bed! Could have been luck, but I was located the furthest away (top floor, right on the corner), which some may feel is an inconvenience, but I’m a private person and enjoyed not listening to neighbours. Upside to room: water pressure and temperature very strong; bath included (in the one I was given, unsure about other rooms), bed size, modest lighting. No air con, but considering it’s March, it wasn’t needed. Downside to room: 4 light switches, and one doesn’t work. I’m still wondering what it was meant to be for! I was also right next to an extractor from outside which hummed all night. Didn’t bother me, I like white noise, but I’d imagine that might annoy another guest. Radiator didn’t work, but I had layers, so wasn’t fussed. There also wasn’t a fridge, which would have come in handy. The other part that bothered me a little (and knowing this is very petty), but the shampoo/body wash bottles were bolted to the wall, at shower level. I used the bath most nights, and had to awkwardly scramble out to retrieve some. I’d imagine if there were a guest with accessible needs, they could provide loose bottles. I don’t have those needs, so I made do. WiFi really not great unfortunately. I was constantly being disconnected and had to use data roaming instead. Network also unsecured. Room also provided a safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Despite other reviews, I had plenty of storage space for clothes. Hotel lobby also kept my case safe before check in, and even after I checked out so I can wander around before heading off to the airport.

Everyone was very helpful in the hotel, friendly & courteous. The breakfast was great, good selection & plenty of it. The rooms are a great size, bed massive! Very clean and towels changed every day. Even though there was live entertainment we hardly heard it if we were in the room but it ended at a reasonable hour anyway. Didn't eat evening meal this time but have had food there before and it is very good. Location is excellent just off O'Connell Street so very central and great for going out & about

Not a big deal but there could supply more coffee etc. Also supply hand/body lotion in bathroom though there was plenty of shampoo/bath wash. Hotel very clean but is a little dated - perhaps just new carpet as the decor is good.

We booked the hotel for its location. This was our last night before making the trek to the airport via taxi. I also knew that it is the site of a very popular Celtic show so I was pretty confident of its being in a safe neighborhood for tourists. Dublin of course is a large city and safety was a concern, but we were happy with the choice. The staff were very accommodating as we needed several taxis since this was our last day in Ireland and we had turned in our rental car. They were also helpful in our checking out a bit late. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The only issue we had was when we thought we'd go into the cafe for an afternoon cup of tea, but there was very loud country/western/pop music and it was too loud, not great, and uncomfortable to remain there, so we left. We would have been more tolerant of Irish trad music at least, but not the case. The breakfast was just fine.

The first thing the location I can access almost everything walking love it. I have the Celtic Night basically in the basement of the Hotel which is great. I have private bathroom. The staff were nice.

I love fresh air, but the hotel windows open very little and there are not so many. Im from Texas USA and the 63F is not cold at all. They gave me a small fan but even with that I slept without close. But I came from 6 to 13 of August so for USA people maybe a different time will be great.

Sarah on reception was so helpful. Her knowledge of the area was a great help to us on our first trip to Dublin. A clean and comfortable room which was well furnished to a good standard. The Arlington is beautiful , its ornate entrance guarded by two lions, the front doors are stately and the general interior has an elegant and classic charm. The large chandeliers adding to the ambiance.

we only had one problem, are room faced out onto a small lane that had a bit of a noise problem. People sat there smoking and chatting loudly whilst on their breaks. At 4 am the very large glass bin gets rolled slowly and very loudly past. generally noisy day and night.

The location is perfect for exploring the city center by walk. Room is quite spacious with comfortable beds, we could rest well. The breakfast was amazing (try the Irish salted butter on the toast!).

The bathroom is quite dated and didn't seemed like the one on the photos. Our room window was pointing to the back alley and we could hear some bar music (but its much better than in Temple Bar area).
