I liked that everything was clean, the beds were done every day, the 24/7 reception is a big plus if you have a late or early flight. You can do the checkout by only dropping the room card at the reception so again, very useful for late/early checkouts. The room we stayed in was big enough for two people, really spacious, but it was a three person room technically so I think that if you are going to be a group of three there might be just enough space for everybody. On the same note, for the three person rooms the overhead bed might be a bit tricky to get into/get off, but sleeping in it feels very safe, even if you are afraid of sleeping in bunked beds, and it's quite spacious for an adult. The room has the basic amenities for a short stay: towels, soap, shower gel, glasses. Don't expect anything fancier, if you want to stay more then 3-4 days and you are not on a budget, you might want to find something fancier, but for a short stay, or if you don't plan on spending all day in the hotel room, it's perfect. Another good thing is the location, close to the metro station (3 minutes walk), tram station in front of the hotel building and also close to one of the bus station from the central train station (10-15 minutes walk with language). There are a lot of different restaurants and places to eat close by (from pizza to Indian/Thai/German etc. food), some great coffee shops, one opens at 7:00, and another one really cute (Le Petit Café Ost) 5 minutes away, highly recommend. You can get to the city center by feet in 20-30 minutes along Main, the neighborhood, even at night seemed quite safe if you are traveling alone.

We stayed there during July, we couldn't really understand properly how the ac system worked, but the room was kept cool, the temperature was perfect so there is that, I think if you ask at the reception they would explain it if needed (the staff there was really friendly), but we didn't spend that much time in the hotel room to need that. A small fridge or cooler would be perfect when staying more then 1 or 2 days to keep a water or something in it.

The sound isolation of windows is insufficient (even with the room facing the courtyard, one would hear noise from the large street in front at night with closed windows). It is also not possible to sleep with windows open due to street noise. The room temperature regulation system, which uses common ducts throughout the whole hotel, caused extremely dry air in the room (even though the system did not work well during my stay, and I had switched it off for my room). Breakfast is okay for this hotel category, but there are no warm options, nor any eggs.

IBIS hotels always impress me with great experience. This time I stayed at IBIS Budget in Frankfurt. The hotel is clean and is located in a convenient area that you can easily reach with U-Bahn. The receptionist is helpful and attentive. He was so kind, professional, and always responsive to my several questions that I had posted before I walked in. The room is quiet and convenient. All necessary things for a short stay are available and in a good condition. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here if I come to Frankfurt again.

I have stayed in many Ibis hotels but this one really stands out as the best! The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. A special thank you to Daniel at the front desk; he was incredibly kind, friendly and made me feel very welcome. His warm attitude and professionalism added a personal touch to my stay that I really appreciated. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and well located, just as you would expect from Ibis but what made the experience exceptional was the staff; especially Daniel. We gave him a small chocolate from our tradition.I highly recommend it.

Very clean room, good conditions. The bed is comfortable. You can change the air temperature yourself. The elevator is fast and working. The reception has a kettle and a hairdryer (a deposit of 20 euros is required for each). There is also an oven and a microwave available for free. There are no plates and utensils in the room, they are also available at the reception.

One of the receptionists was not very friendly. There's a TV in the room, but it's a bit useless, showing only German TV. But you can take an hdmi and connect your device. One evening there was not enough kettle for us. But you can take hot water at the reception. In the morning we could already take the kettle:)

The bathroom door was making a very loud noise when opened or closed and us being 3 people in the room made it very uncomfortable to use the toilet while the others were resting And the room was really small (but we didn't need more ,- maybe an extra shelf to put our clothes on would have been great

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet. Cleaning was done every day. The staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent. The tram stop is just 100 meters away. Tram number 11 provides easy access to both Römer and the central train station.

The extra bed made a lot of creaking noises when being pulled down or put away. Unfortunately, the bathroom door was also very noisy.

Great location — just a short walk to the metro and a nearby organic supermarket. The 24-hour reception was super convenient and the staff were helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend!

The room for three was quite small, even though it felt spacious enough. The main downside was the lack of privacy: the shower and sink were outside the bathroom, and the bathroom door didn’t have a lock.

Loved the mini market! There was frozen pizza, sandwiches, water and other beverages. The receptionists were nice and friendly. The buffet was lovely with fresh fruit. I loved their initiative "no clean, stay green, get a free beverage" which was awesome!

The bathroom in our room was stale, small and missed hand disinfectant. To wash my hands outside the bathroom was weird.

Good location for darts World Cup. Rooms are very basic but all we were looking for was cheap, clean and decent location which this delivered. Tram and underground stops are very close by.

The rooms are very basic but you get what you pay for. It wasn’t great not having working air conditioning in a heatwave but the staff gave us free beer and water so can’t complain.
