Nice breakfast, cooked for us to order each day, which we ate by the colourful wall mural inviting us to explore Liverpool. Good room and powerful hot shower. Free parking on site. Great location for walking to Aintree - but we were going to Anfield (!) so we caught a bus there (£2) and walked back after the fantastic Dua Lipa concert, about an hour and 15 minutes walk. There were trains nearby into the city centre. Good location if you have a car and very quiet road at night. You can drive into the city and get parking for £6 for 24 hours in Mount Pleasant Car Park.

The pillows were too hard for us and the TV was tiny in the distance! Both minor things but they could be improved and the fire doors were very hard to push open and some banged loudly. The untidy stones spewing out of the car park onto the pavement need sweeping back inside and present an unkept image!

This was my third stay at the Orrell Park Hotel, and once again, I was thoroughly impressed. Vinod and his dedicated team go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience for their guests. Their exceptional service is truly commendable—nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is a highlight of my stay, with a delicious spread that sets you up for the day. Plus, the complimentary WiFi is reliable and fast, which is a big plus for anyone needing to stay connected. Conveniently located, Orrell Park train station is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel, offering quick access to the city center in just 14 minutes. Trains run every 15 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sundays, making it easy to explore the area. Additionally, ASDA and other local amenities are just a short 5-minute stroll away. Each room features its own smart TV, and for those who prefer a more social setting, the beautifully decorated communal lounge is a great option. The hotel also boasts a bar and the Sarus Tapas Bar and Grill, which offers an incredible menu catering to all dietary preferences, whether you’re a meat lover, vegan, or gluten-free. I cannot recommend the Orrell Park Hotel and Restaurant enough. My experiences have been consistently outstanding, and I look forward to my next visit. A+++++!

this is a nice clean hotel in a quiet area comfortable bed nice clean bedding/towels breakfast was nice they have a tapas bar tuesday to friday which seems popular there was no noise

the room next to me had 2 women staying and were very noisy upto 11 30pm then quiet but one of them was up and down for a cigarette all night and just let the bedroom slam also let the door to the landing slam thank god it was only 1 night this was no fault of the hotel

Stayed at the Orrell park a couple of time in June as it was ideally located for the Aintree Hospital where my son was transferred to after an accident at the Isle of Man TT. Rooms were lovely and spacious. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were super and very accommodating. We had the tapas specials on 2 occasions - very nice would recommend. The location is close to the metro which we took into the city before visiting hours £4.50 return bargain

very close to Aintree, comfortable and warm. breakfast was great. Off road parking. we had 2 rooms both very spacious. decent size bathroom in one of the rooms. over all a great stay. the bed was low down in room 9, fine for us but no good if you struggle to get up. would stay again.

I was in room number 9 and there was a humming noise. Must admit I didn't speak to anyone about it because once I fell to sleep I was flat out. I wasn't get in until really late and it wasn't all the time. the shower wasn't very powerful had to turn it off eco mode to make it warm.

The on site restaurant was so good, the immediate area mainly just has takeaways, no up market restaurants. The hotel restaurant is great, excellent food at very reasonable prices. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Bedroom was a good size, comfortable bed.

The coffee/milk in room was not topped up daily. For a major coffee drinker that was disappointing. However I am sure that had I asked the staff would have willingly gave me some. Only other issue was no do not disturb sign for bedroom door. I didn't always want to leave early after breakfast and sometimes went back to bed but there was always the fear that I'd be disturbed.

The lady who served us when we arrived was lovely and very accommodating as we needed to check in early to get the keys. She was very helpful. The hotel and room were nice and clean, although a bit old fashioned (not that it's a problem). The room was also surprisingly sound proof as we didn't hear anyone walking around in the morning (which you might have expected from a building like this). There's parking around the back which is useful too, but good bus and rail connections nearby. The breakfast we had the next morning was tasty, and they have a good little selection of hot food and cereals. Also good that it's included in the stay.

There wasn't much to dislike except maybe the style of the rooms. The mattress was a bit springy but I still had a fine night's sleep.

The staff were so lovely, so helpful. I would stay again. I found my room to be a lovely size, normally I have problems with finding hotels too hot or cold.. not once did I have a problem with that. I had dinner there and was so happy with the food, I had the halloumi burger, and it was one of the best I had in a long time. The staff went out of their way to help me out. I hope to be back in the area for work at some point, and I will stay again :)

Friendly staff and owner, great service, wonderful English breakfasts, bottomless coffee pot, they remember our names, Liz makes sure my grandson has hot chocolate for breakfast and sticks plenty of sachets in the room for him. The lovely new Tapas and grill and bar are open most evenings , we tried it a few times👍The location is easy walk to Orrell Station which takes you to Ormskirk or Liverpool central in approx 12 min, change at Sandhills if you want to go to Southport lots of buses at the vale to take you to Liverpool /Everton ground or Great Homer St market. lots of local shops, and bars.

The hotel was easy to find, we arrived early and there was parking which was a bonus. It was also a five minute walk from the train station with easy access into Liverpool Central.The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. They also had a restaurant which was great, prices were very reasonable and the food was lovely. Breakfast was also good too. I would definitely recommend the Orrell Park.
