The property is beautiful. The location is great, as it is close to a shopping center and lots of restaurants. The staff are exceptional. They were very accommodating and understanding when we wanted to switch rooms due to the overflow of water from the shower.

The beds are very stiff (hard) and the design of the shower is super flawed and water spills out into the bathroom and practically floods. For the quality of the establishment, I don’t expect to be mopping up floors while I’m there. If I’m going to have to mop everyday then I should get a discount. Also, while the breakfast was delicious (and buffet) it’s not worth the €35 each person when there are plenty of options close by where I can feed my entire family of 3 for €35.

Excellent location. Amazing Valeta view from my balcony. Very helpful and nice staff. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere in the hotel area. Good breakfast. Very good spa .

The hotel does not have its own swimming pool with sun loungers outside but uses the infrastructure of a pool restaurant. This is a public swimming pool and bar/ restaurant used mainly by the people from outside. It is necessary to reserve a sunbed two days in advance. The rules of using the pool are not clear ( towels, reservation, location of your pool bed ). The pool area is very crowded and noisy . There are usually pool techno parties during the weekend. This is definitely not the pool for the people who want to relax in a quiet place but rather for those who love disco and techno parties.

Very friendly staff and great location. Close to ferry for Valletta. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great spa and gym facilities. Once the outdoor pool is ready, that will be the best place to watch the sunset over Valletta.

There was a bit of a misunderstanding with breakfast. We paid 60 euros thinking it was for our three day stay but it was per day. It was a nice breakfast but very expensive at 60 euros a day. Nearly as much as the room itself!

The view of Valetta was fabolous. We could sit there for hours and just look at it, but of course you have to go see it closer up :-) The room was really nice, and the hotel itself was great. The breakfast was very good. We started with a walking tour of Valetta, excellent. I recommend talking the boat over. It is just a short walk, and then, if you like, you can cross Valetta and take another boat for Birgu and see more. A lot to see. Mdina. Gozo.

We had some issues with the parking in the basement. We were given a place, but somebody else parked in it, and there were no more room in the hotel parking spots. We had to argue with the guy watching the parking, and it was just a bit annoying. The bar was not always properly manned. They tried their best, but there was a bit of a wait. It was probably just that everything else functioned so well.

I usually do not include the hotel breakfast in my plans, so I cannot comment on it. The hotel is perfectly located and offers all the necessary facilities for a good holiday or business trip.

The only problem of this property is untrained personnel, whether we are talking about the reception or ancillary staff, and the lack of concierge service. One can immediately see that the general manager is not experienced enough and has no schooling in the leading 5-star properties of Europe (like Switzerland, for example), so he is not able to direct his personnel. I also think that the prices are too high for this level.

Our room was lovely. Large and with an amazing balcony and view. Aircon worked very well and very stylish decor. The rooms were cleaned and organized twice per day which I loved.

The “exclusive” sunbeds at the pool for hotel guests, were limited in number so you had to get there at 9am to reserve. They were also the least desirable locations and you weren’t allowed to move even if others (paid for) were empty. Breakfast was very expensive if not included (€30 pp). We were meant to have been VIP guests but this wasn’t really evident. And there were a lot of rules. Pool towels were counted in and out, coffee and water in the room was replenished to a degree. Small things but it’s why I didn’t give more points.

Breakfast buffet choice & quality was excellent. However, personally we would have preferred an a la carte evening restaurant rather than a buffet style dinner costing 45 euros without wine. We were very fortunate as the hotel upgraded us to a suite on the top floor so we enjoyed a very large, luxurious room with an amazing view of the harbour and Valetta. Good location for local restaurants and the ferry to Valetta. Spa was very nice with good choice of treatments.

Hotel guests had complimentary use of the pool and sunbeds with a bar and restaurant at "Manta" connected by a tunnel from the hotel lower ground floor. Very comfortable sunbeds but rather close together and the music was a bit loud.

This hotel was absolutely incredible, the rooms were so spacious and clean and the hotel staff were the nicest people ever. I had a shower and a bath tub in my room. The balcony was lovely. I would opt for the seaview if you can afford it as the view is great We were a big group celebrating a birthday and we were truly accommodated for. The bar had great choice of food and drink and the location of the hotel in Silema was great. Right next to the shopping centre and walking distance to all the local restaurants. You take a bus to get to valetta

The walk from the hotel to the leisure areas (pool, spa, outdoor pool etc.) is quite a bit of a walk and it is underground and a shared gym with the apartments. I think the breakfast price is quite high compared to other hotels

The view of Valletta was simply breathtaking, from the hotel - best in Sliema. All of the employees of the hotel were friendly, personal, professional and willing to help us with everything we needed. The property was immaculate, comfortable and had a premium view and proximity for access to transport, ferry services, restaurants and shopping. The pool, bar and gym were all five star facilities and easy to access through a very clever underground walkway. The bar was great for some relaxed onsite drinks. The pool was easy to access and had a fun, friendly summer vibe, just book the day before if you would like a bed (it’s simply that easy).

Even though it’s a five star hotel, the breakfast option was pricey (if not included in a package) - so mostly we elected other options. Needs a self serving laundry option for long term stays.

Location superb. Room superb. Breakfast superb. Reception staff superb. Situated in easy walking distance of many excellent restaurants and transport links.

Bathroom a triumph of design over substance! Very stylish and large but impossible to have a shower without flooding the bath surround and floor. Took a long time to work out how to work the very sophisticated lighting in the room. Wasn’t impressed with food in bar. Daily dinner buffet in restaurant very expensive
