We were traveling with an 8-month-old baby. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Stefano, the most generous, kind, and helpful host we have ever met. He was very helpful in directing us around the city, and very understanding. The rooms were very clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable and we had 2 different variations of pillows to choose from. The toilet was very clean and it smelt very nice. The reception, and lounge/dining area were really nice. THE LOCATION IS GREAT. We didn't have to use a taxi for the majority of the time. Everything is 10-20min of walking. Overall we have only the best experience from this object, and when we come back to ROME, we are definitely staying here again. 10 out of 10

An absolute hidden gem for Rome! Amazing value for money for a perfect location for the Vatican (less than a 10 minute stroll). The room is basic, but has everything you need, including excellent aircon! Huge bathroom with a very hot shower that lasts. Amazingly quite, even though it's off a main road, also making it easy to get a cab if needed. 5 minute walk to and from the Bus Shuttle stop from FCO. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Very happy for us to leave bags and collect as and when we left, quite a while after check out too. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again! 10/10

The location, outside main city center - but 15 minutes walking there, airport shuttle gets you 3 minutes of walking from the place so you save time and money, and the neighborhood is so fabulous - great shop, much comfortable to.walk than main city center, wonderful restorants - what can you ask more? Oh, the rooms are being cleaned every day (!), they are modern, suoer comfyable bad, quiet, and last but not leasr - the staff is so helpful, giving their WhatsApp number to answer any question, any time of the day. Highly-Highly recommended!

I can't think of anything we didn't like. We enjoyed every minute.

I recently stayed at the Roma de Papei Hotel and it was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attentive service, specially Steffano that went above and beyond helping us and asnwering us all our questions. The beautifully decorated rooms offered a perfect blend of comfort and style, and the on-site restaurant served delicious, locally-sourced meals that were a highlight of my stay. The hotel's central location made exploring Rome a breeze, yet it provided a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. What sets Roma de Papei apart is the genuine sense of community and belonging it fosters, making it a place you'll want to return to time and time again. We loved how close this property was to so many attractions we wanted to see and so many we didn't know we wanted to see. We walked almost everywhere and we are not fit people. We would highly recommend including Castel St Angelo in your things to do as the views up there were amazing and the history. Also heading over the bridge over the Tiber River took you to many good spots, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi and the Pantheon, to name a few. Our host was extremely helpful and our room was kept so tidy and clean.

Andrea was the most amazing host! Full of knowledge and great recommendations! He organised our transfers, advised restaurants and even made reservations for us! And he was available around the clock for any questions or help we may have needed. He went above and beyond! Also the location was amazing. Walking distance to everything. Also the rooms were very comfy and so clean. Beds made every day and fresh towels when we needed them. Also smart tv in the room as well as WiFi, was just icing on the cake.

The only thing we could say that was missing was hair conditioner. And maybe tea/coffee facilities in the room would be nice but saying that there was communal tea/coffee making facilities in reception. But these are only very minor things.

The service at this hotel exceeded all expectations. We received all the help we needed, and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping team was excellent, ensuring our room was spotless every day. No matter the time of day, all our questions were answered promptly. On top of that, the location was perfect—everything we wanted to see was easily accessible. I am sure no other place offers this level of service. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

I had never stayed in this part of Rome before, but the location was perfect for the time of our visit. We could quickly walk to historic district, travestre or metro stop, but hotel out of the crowds and quiet and safe. Gated entrance to building shared with residences . Checkin was a breeze and they were very accommodating!

Only thing. Air conditioner unit and remote control unreliable. Not modern. Maybe problem was with old broken remote? Not a deal breaker. Annoying, but you just had to constantly fiddle with it. I will stay here again though, and I plan on coming back in a few months

The location was great a short walk to the Vatican and opposite the castle sant Angelo , in a very quiet and secure area which felt very safe to walk around , The room was very clean and tidy and light and airy and had everything you needed. But the best thing was Andrea who looked after us , he was welcoming and gave great recommendations and anything we needed he sorted straight away. An amazing host who is an asset to the B and B cannot recommend the b and b enough.

Nothing everything was perfect

Stefano was an awesome host, pleasant and friendly always willing to help and give advice and directions. Loved the cute pastry and coffee and juice in the mornings. Great aircon and clean room. Safe area, lots of places to eat close by and right by Vatican. Exactly what we were looking for. Communication was great also before checking in.

All was great, I notice other reviews mentioning a small shower but I found it fine, maybe if your oversized it might be small for your liking.
