We loved absolutely everything about Rumi Rooms! Firstly the location, it's right in the middle of the old town of Como and just a 10 minute walk from the lakefront and ferry terminal. The accommodation is above a (beautiful) restaurant and you have to go through it and up some stairs to the first floor. There is no lift, however the extremely friendly and helpful staff will happily help you with your luggage. Our room was so spacious it felt almost like a small apartment! It had a little hallway, large bathroom, spacious bedroom and a lovely balcony to sit out on. Everything was spotlessly clean, lovingly decorated and there were nice touches like biscuits, tea and bottled water. We would have loved to have stayed longer and would come back any time!

Absolutely nothing!

This property is fantastically located in the heart of Como Old Town. Short stroll to ferry ticket booth, cafes and restaurants. The spacious and modern room with large bathroom (number 3 - junior suite) is located directly above the restaurant and the window overlooks the courtyard/street below for a authentic experience of Como life. Restaurant food delicious and we ate there for 3 meals on our 2 night stay, one night having the dinner delivered to the room. Surprisingly no excess noise from the bustle of the restaurant below. Available to us were free bottles of water, tea, coffee and snacks. was a very pleasant experience all round. Air conditioning a bonus and kept us cool in the very warm weather - we visited end of August 2024.

This place was so cute. The location was fabulous for us, and the staff was SUPER friendly. Our room was very clean and picked up daily. All the extras (coffee, tea, biscuits, fridge, etc) were a great touch to the comfortability of the room. We even had a balcony to enjoy the view. The restaurant below was amazing, we loved the food. We were within walking distance to many things.

The hotel consists of a cluster of rooms above a restaurant. We liked the size of the room and were pleased that we had our own courtyard adjacent to it. The bathroom and shower are a decent size for Italian standards. The toiletries provided were a nice touch. The hotel is located in a great location, and is an easy walk to Lake Como, restaurants and shops.

Because the hotel was located above a restaurant, it was very noisy at night. We had a hard time sleeping, even with earplugs. This was the only negative thing.

Location in the old town and proximity to the Como ferry, train station, and restaurants. Also liked that there was a mini-fridge, a safe, free water / candies, and air conditioning.

very friendly staff, and quite easy to find the Accomadation an added bonus was the complimentary coffee machine and snack outside the room, this meant that we were able to have breakfast in our room each morning before we went out sightseeing for the day

slight problem with the hot water during our stay - but this was resolved each time we mentioned it, and the boiler was re-set and we had hot water again within 30 minutes

Great location close to everything, our room was lovely , big renovated bathroom huge shower, a little balcony , very clean, staff were lovely. Above a restaurant but no issues at all .

Whilst we loved our stay here the mattress in room 1 was horrendous, it needs to be replaced, hard lumpy and noisy, could not get a good nights sleep at all, a real shame as everything else was lovely.

Being located in the middle of Como was so handy when catching public transport. We did not find it difficult to locate. Our room was modern with a great bathroom and comfortable bed. Did not hear any noise from the restaurant or the town (stayed on a Sunday night). A croissant/packaged toast and jam and coffee was provided for breakfast.

Excellent central location and one of the best rooms we've had the pleasure of staying in. We are seasoned travellers but don't tend to spend a crazy amount on hotels but the value for money at The Rumi Rooms was incredible. The staff were all lovely and I loved the bustling sounds of the restaurant below us at night.

If you're a light sleeper you may not like the proximity to the centre but imo it only added to the experience!

Beautiful room! Both room and bathroom are large. Balcony was a great addition! Very clean and very cozy. Free snacks were life-saving as we missed the near shop opening hours. Spectacular location. Staff were super friendly. All information provided. Highly recommend! If ever in Como again, we will definitely re-book!
