Location is very convenient, just a 5-10 min walk to the castle and other sightseeing spots. The overall feel of the hotel is modern and relaxed. The room was clean and the shower just great. It was nice to have a fridge/minibar and a safe in the room. The breakfast was excellent, great variety of choices, very tasty. We didn’t mind at all that there were no hot options.

The room is quite small, so it’s difficult to move around, especially when you have to open large suitcases. The room furnishing is stylish but somewhat unfortunate in terms of functionality, not enough space on the night stand (just a small recess in the headboard actually), hangers placed too low, so you cannot hang a long skirt or dress. We got used to everything eventually, but it was a challenge at first.

I was a repeat guest. The hotel is extremely convenient to the main station but also close to other points of interest-- the castle, cathedral, and Jardin des Plantes-- and the vibe of the area is quite good, with lots of appealing restaurant options nearby. Rooms are spacious, well-outfitted, and comfortable.

Breakfast options are just okay, though a bright spot is the fresh-baked pain au chocolat. Apparently due to a brief power outage, the internet was knocked out on the last day of my stay. Kudos to the front desk staff for moving me to a room on another floor where the internet was operating, when it hadn't been fixed on the floor where I was initially staying.

The remarkable breakfast with excellent products: Fresh orange juice, a good cup of coffee, french soft and hard cheese, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt and much more. No stupid old fashoned cheap saucages, or scrambled eggs out of a pack which is usually the case in hotels. Bravo for a beautifull breakfast : ) The room is soundproof and seems to be recently renovated. Excellent beds and pillows. Hygienic. Airco and the best system to keep the light out.

They promise on booking.com " un grand lit" but that seems to be misinformation since the receptionist got us a room with a normal sized bed. After reclamation we landed up in a bigger twin room with french balcony at the front side (A big bed is according to our standards bigger than 1.40 or 1.50). Our suggestion; indicate on the site the exact size of " le grand lit". Why on earth a big tv screen with only french channels ??!!!. The towels seemed to have had their best times; not pristine white any more.

Slight smell of stale smoke in the bedroom (even if the hotel is completely smoke free). Maybe smoke detectors would help. No coffee or tea making facilities Small bottle of water in the mini fridge cost 4€90 Had to go down 6 floors (by lift) to get filtered water. Maybe possible to have machine on each floor?

When we come back to Nantes, we will definitely stay here again. Delicious breakfast, air conditioning in room, comfy beds and room was very clean. We arrived around midnight, no problem at all. Near hotel are restaurants, groceries... And it is few steps to train station, so you can explore other places (higly recommended). Hotel is also near really beautiful park and by walk you can see many interesting and historical places in Nantes.

Amazing experience! Quiet, close to the center, water available on the ground floor to fill the bottles, breakfast with fresh orange juice and crepes made by them. Super clean room and very kind and nice staff. There was also a small shop next to the reception to buy gifts. I traveled with my whole family and we had 2 rooms. Everything was perfect!

Everything was perfect, but in our rooms there were bath tubes, not showers, so it may be difficult for old people, but there might be showers in other rooms and my daughter loved to have the chance to have baths!

The breakfast options were excellent, the eating space was spacious/comfortable, the staff in the dining area were hard working and courteous. The front desk staff was amazing and the hotel location was convenient to sights and many food options. The parking lot across the street is discounted for hotel guests when you have your parking ticket receipt validated at the hotel front desk.

The hotel shower glass panel should be larger. Every time someone showered, the floor would get all wet.

Ibis is always a top choice whenever I need accommodation. Its colourful, still minimalistic coziness always gets me. Breakfasts are always a surprise, I love how they adapt it to the city where you stay. I mean... getting mini crepes at breakfast, or having mini croissants getting ready in the oven in front of your eyes. Oh, and have you seen the huge city map next to the reception, on the wall? :-O So, these little things are always nice at ibis. Kindness, tidiness were not even a question. Recommend!

The hotel is very well located, in front of the central train station. I asked for a quiet room and I got one, on a higher floor over a side street -- it was perfect. The price is very reasonable for a downtown hotel. The single room was small but clean, and nothing was missing.

There weren't many electric sockets, just one near the bed and the other on the other side of the room. The furniture was basic, with a single chair and a very small table. There was a single hook in the bathroom and no towel rack, which was a bit too limited. I didn't see anything warm at breakfast, only cold items (but a decent choice).

Clean, spacious, great view, with affordable parking options within a 5 minute walk. The room was way more spacious than I expected, with a good amount of plugs, and a nice laptop stand for comfortable working conditions. The breakfast was very good, too.

The only critique is that our vehicle was too big for the recommended parking across the street so we had to find something else. Luckily there was another option close by (the castle) — the hotel could include that option in their booking confirmation.
