The check-in experience was truly disappointing and almost ruined the entire stay. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the offer that a child stays for free, and we specifically selected the option to add an extra bed. I even called the hotel in advance to confirm this, and they assured me the bed would be ready upon arrival. However, when we checked in, the receptionist was extremely unwelcoming — no greeting, no smile, and a very dismissive attitude. Every question was met with a cold “no,” and we felt completely unwelcome. When we asked him to check the details of our booking, he initially refused, then said he would but never followed up. I asked if we could speak to a manager on duty, and he told us the manager was busy and would contact us later — but again, nobody got in touch. The room itself was not as expected. Although it was a large space, it lacked basic furnishings shown in the photos, like an armchair. It had no balcony access despite listing a balcony, and amenities were clearly set up for only one person: one towel, no slippers, no bathrobe and only one set of toiletries (even though we were a family of three). There was no extra bed, no extra blanket and no preparations for a child. Thankfully, things changed when I called the operator later to get an extra blanket that evening and spoke with the night manager. He was incredibly professional, kind, and responsive. He apologized for the poor experience, immediately arranged for an extra bed, send proper amenities, and ensured we were comfortable. Thanks to him and the housekeeping staff — who were polite and helpful throughout our stay — we ended up enjoying the rest of our visit. We also had a great experience at the hotel’s Italian restaurant Cucina and the all-day dining venue — both had excellent service and food. In summary, the check-in experience was unacceptable and nearly caused us to leave the hotel.

- lovely, warm staff who are most helpful and always smiling - pool was a nice temperature for an evening swim - easy parking in underground car park, near the hotel entrance - although the hotel was very full, they found us a quiet, mosque-facing room - within moments of 3 major shopping malls - nice breakfast selection

- for some reason I find the beds really uncomfortable after the Radisson takeover, not sure why (however when I asked for extra duvets to act as mattress toppers the staff brought them immediately) - when it was called Levatio it was our favourite, quiet hotel in Muscat but now many wannabe businessmen and women love shouting into their phone during breakfast which is a bit annoying (no, we don't want to hear about your deals) - I wish staff could ask them to tone it down or put them all in the back section and leave the front for those who enjoy peace and quiet in the morning

It was an absolute pleasure staying at the Radisson Blue Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff offered such a genuinely warm and welcoming greeting that made me feel at home, and we would like to extend special thanks to Mr. Sameeh, for his kind hospitality. Stepping into my room, I was impressed by the generous size and thoughtful layout – plenty of space to relax and unwind. Breakfast, sheers variety, and quality of the offerings were fantastic; there was truly something for every taste. It was the perfect way to start each day. Levels of cleaness, ambience, and professionalism made us feel comfortable. Defenetly recommended, and we are looking forward to stay with Radisson blue panorama again.

The Hotel was great, the room is spacious and we had fun with our baby. Mr Nadim is a great man and he was so helpful and always making our stay the best, he is perfect and so kind. Mainly the staf were good Ms. Romina as well she was so wonderful and helpful. The chef Miko is a good chef and so kind. The breakfast is great with a huge variety. Since our first trip to Muscat we loved the city and the people are so kind. I highly recommend Muscat for tourism and especially Radisson Hotel Muscat Panorama. The house keeping guys are so nice and attentive, I am really sorry that I have lost their names but they were amazing and great and I don't like to confuse names. The swimming pool is clean and has got a nice terras. I do also recommend their dinner where you can find the chef Miko. In a nutshell you will feel at home, the hotel ans staf especially Mr. Nadim and Ms. Romina will for sure make your stay the best ever. All what you need is to book your stay at this hotel and enjoy the wonderful city of Muscat and the kind people. There are plenty of malls not far from the hotel. Again a huge thanks to the whole recepton staff and the house keeping for being nice and making our stay so enjoyable.

The rooms are clean and the breakfast is nice. Location is good in the centre of the city.

The front desk staff tried to charge me for two rooms even though I had only booked one family room. The invoice they gave me was more than double the price on my Booking reservation. It was an issue with their reservations but they tried to convince me rudely that I had booked two rooms and that I was the one who was confused. We ended up in a regular room with zero space despite paying for a family room. Two bottles of water, two towels, one tiny bottle of shampoo for four people! Overall unpleasant experience with two small children and unlikely I'll stay here again.

It was the first trip to Oman and we are satisfied with this trip. Omani people were really great. And that's what we expected. Authenticity and decency are the characteristics of Omani people. Regarding the hotel, the treatment of the staff, especially the Indian staff, was good. Wi-Fi speed was good. It was very close to shopping centers.

The variety of breakfast was very large, but the side dishes were more than the main breakfast. The windows of the hotel were not clean and the view outside was cloudy during breakfast.

- The staff are wonderfully welcoming, remember their regular customers and treat them like family. Although I arrived at around 1 am they were chatty and friendly and found me a great room when my preferred room was not available. - There is a lovely Albanian lady at reception with a huge smile who helped me get a cheap taxi back to the airport, much cheaper than if I had hailed one off the street. She even carried my bag. Thank you dear. - Spacious, rear-facing rooms are very peaceful and have a view of a lovely white mosque. - Superb location with 3 malls within easy walking distance, one is adjacent to the hotel although many shops are sadly closed now (it was amazing a few years ago). Muscat Grand Mall and Avenues are just minutes away. - Since it was Ramadan, I decided to grab some pasta from the supermarket next door for lunch on my last day. My food was only lukewarm and the hotel kitchen staff heated it up so I could enjoy it piping hot. A nice touch during Ramadan. - Cleaning staff were very polite and left my room sparkling clean. - There's an in-house hairdresser and beauty salon and they take walk-ins for manicures and pedicures. Very professional service. - They agreed to let me have a very late check-out since my flight was in the early evening, even though the hotel expected a large group on the day of my departure. This was much appreciated and make me enjoy my stay more.

- My bed was a bit harder than I prefer. When I mentioned it to the staff, they immediately put a big duvet on top of the mattress which helped. - The breakfast used to be much better. There is a good choice but I just didn't find it as tasty as usual this time. Maybe the chef has changed? Not sure.

Everything :) The service was amazing, breakfast was good. The location was very convenient. Walking distance to Oman Avenues Mall, IKEA around 20 minutes walk. And located just next to Panorama Mall and supermarket. It's within walking distance to Mall of Oman too, however no proper pedestrian walkway to walk to Mall of Oman so it's quite dangerous as you have to cross the expressway. We stayed here 3 times during our 3 week holiday! They allowed us to leave some of our bags in the storage too while we travel around Oman for 3 weeks. We really appreciate their help on this coz we could rent a smaller and cheaper car.

On days that we did not have a rental car, it was hard to get a taxi via the apps. Only luxury cars available if book through the Otaxi app. If not through the app, most taxi drivers don't use the meter, so have to bargain. Taxi from the airport to hotel used meter, we were charged around OMR6+ (big taxi), however we couldn't get a metered taxi from the hotel to airport, the hotel helped us to book the taxi to the airport and was charged OMR15 for the same size.
