I liked the bathrobes and large bath towels. The free coffee in the lounge was very nice. The location of the hotel is excellent being near both the railway station and the old town.

As the building is old, the main entry has several steps from the street which may be difficult for older and disabled guests. There is the option of exiting the hotel via the car park which is reached by an elevator. The reception staff suggested this to me when I asked if there was a way to avoid dragging my luggage down the steps. I feel a ramp or disabled entrance clearly marked would be a positive improvement.

Just one long block from the main train station, also across one blvd from the old town.

The hotel has been reconfigured from several structures, renovated over the several times; retaining beautiful olden day features, but also incorporating environmentally friendly today’s trends. ( using ground water under the hotel to cool the guest rooms!) But these meant also, there were uneven flooring, connections, unexpected steps; some are dangerous unless you’re careful. A further modification may make the hotel a greater spot.

The Hotel is super centrally located, close to the train and tram stations as well as to the old town. The building is quite historic and looks super elegant inside. You can visit the rooftop which is also nice and the breakfast buffet is good.

The rooms are stylish and functional. However the bathroom has only a thin glass door. I think they installed a radio in the bathroom for a reason. In general the room was clean however in the bathroom where some hair from the previous guests and the glasses for the water had stains on them.

We were given a small room when we checked in, but when we asked for something slightly larger, we were given a room on the 3rd floor, which was very nice. We had the express breakfast as we had to leave early, but it was more than adequate! The hotel is near the centre of town which makes in easy to walk and explore the town. There is parking behind the hotel which is paid for at the hotel, about €12 per night. Really pretty town, which we will be going back to see again as we had very little time!

Really great location in a lovely building, close to the station. The staff were so helpful and nice - even packing us up breakfast for our journey as we needed to leave early. The beds were very comfortable and everything very clean.

The only small issue is the that it feels a little unsafe at night in that area. Through no fault of the hotel! This can be expected near city stations.

The hotel is very clean, the parking lot is very kind :) the room is comfortable and it was clean. The breakfast was also sufficient. The location is very good, there is a market near the park opposite, you can walk to the center in 5 minutes. We liked the hotel and the hospitality very much. we thank you.

Extra bed could have been more comfortable

Brilliant position 5 min from train station and old town. Lovely room and nice cocktail bar next door. I recommend to get the Welcome card from the tourist information which includes travel by tram and bus to the cable car.

The room was quite warm and the air con a bit noisy but would stay again. Watch out for scams by booking.com which come through on the app asking for card details! This happened on our booking. Luckily our bank was more helpful than booking.com

Excellent location, good shower, very comfortable bed - king size. Nice Ecoterrace with comfortable chairs and lots of solar panels - we had a picnic lunch up there.

Lighting in the room was quirky and inadequate - either too bright or too dim, with a silly large hanging light that got in the way Breakfast was only adequate and ridiculously expensive at Euro 20 per person. After the first morning we went to the Altstadt for something better at less than half the price.

Excellent location near to the station and the centre. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Free tickets for local public transport was an unexpected bonus. The guest lounge offered self service free tea and coffee all day.

Our room overlooked the main road and unfortunately there were roadworks being carried out which started around 8am every morning and were very noisy (not the hotel's fault). In fairness we were offered a move to a quieter room at the back but it was a smaller room and we couldn't be bothered to move all our stuff. The wifi was slow and not very reliable.

The room was very clean and offers everything you need. You can even play relaxing music before sleep by pulling a rope attached to the bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us store the luggage after checkout and even offered two bottles of water. Appart from tea/coffee offered in the room you could prepare any time also in the lobby. Sauna and fitness room were small and fit only for 2-3 people maybe but there was no one at the time we went so we enjoyed it a lot. Sauna had a very nice aroma. Everything was very clean and had all you need (towels, water, lockers, relaxing room etc). Location is also top. A highly recommended hotel.
