We liked everything!! The staff was really nice! We ate one night at the pizza place on the corner!! We found out the owner of the hotel is the owner of the restaurant!! the atmosphere and the food were wonderful! We especially liked the girl doing everything up front and doing it with a smile on her face!! She visited with us and I told she runs the restaurant very well and how many years has she been doing this!? She was actually new and had only been there for a few months!! She’s a natural!!

The only thing we forgot to check is whether there was an elevator!! We have been to Europe several times so we knew that was our number one question! It ended up being fine but after a long trip and all the walking we just looked up at the stairs and laughed!! The accommodations made it all worthwhile!! While we were staring at the steps a pleasant lady came down the steps and offered to help! I said absolutely not but I finally caved in!! She was used to strenuous activity!!

Great location! Beautiful design and right in the heart of the Pantheon neighborhood.

The property does not have an elevator so it makes carrying heavy luggage a challenge. The room only gets so cold- not the best AC system and the lobby is hot during the day and morning. The cleaning crew turns off the AC so after a hot day around Rome you come home to a hot room. It does cool off after you turn the unit back on but it takes time. I think this is an Italy thing- they are used to warmer temperatures indoors versus Americans. Staff is nice but not overly friendly. I asked for restaurant recommendations and we received one. Better off doing your own research or consulting others. There is no coffee in the room- tea but there should at least be instant coffee options for the morning.

Great AC, good beds, very large room and high ceilings (we had a triple). Breakfast was available for an extra charge but Thomas (who did everything) made us an expresso or cappuccino which was fine. Brand new bathroom with modern appliances and black marble shower.

No lift/elevator for second floor stairs but Thomas carried our bags in and out, to the taxi rank close by. Antique chests and bedside chests had nearly non-functional drawers but they were delightful to look at.

Thomas the manager was fantastic. Location is perfecto (e.g., 5 minute walk north to the Pantheon, 10 minutes walk south to the Tiber River...). There's a simple little terrace to sit outside your room. As others have noted, the place is on the second floor and there is no elevator so you'll need to carry your bags up the stairs.

AC unit was decent but took a while to be effective.

The location and the service were great! The shower was very good as well.

Stairs to go up with the luggage. In my case, the taxi driver helped to goes up, however it should be considered for big size luggage.

Excellent location to explore Rome on foot, within walking distance to Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Spanish steps, Colosseum (15-20 min) etc. Great value for money if your priority to be able to walk everywhere.

Hotel is a 2nd floor of a residential/office building with no real facilities (like breakfast room, reception, etc). Amenities (old bed, very small TV, etc) are on a budget side or perhaps just worn. Breakfast is served on a small balcony. Wi-fi, at times, worked inconsistently.

Excellent area for travelling about. Original style property over one floor with approx 7 rooms, I didn't count. Secure entry. Thomas looked after us during our stay. Helpful and friendly. Brought our breakfast to us in our room, we could have chosen to sit on the outdoor space. Traditional decoration and furnishings so don't go expecting ultra modern but it is lovely. Would go back again

Location within 5-25 minutes walk to main attractions. Felt safe and secure. Loved the friendly hostess/owner who checked twice we were happy and ok. Cleaner very nice man who fixed push plug in sink as we pushed it in too hard and it got stuck. Not much English from him but we learnt about his family. The room was Italian theme with double height ceilings and antique looking decor. I was sick and the cleaner brought a tray of tea for me no charge. So kind and considerate.

No lift. 3 flights marble stairs. Thankfully staff assisted on arrival but not around when departing. Noisy when window open with sirens and people loud. Trying to recover during day with windows open for fresh air didn’t make it easy to sleep because of being sick. But when window and timber shutters closed it was nearly soundproof.
