I liked the pool and that the rooms are open towards the inner yard. If you’re traveling with kids, they can play outside and just in front of the rooms. The food was ok too :)

Just a detail - I didn’t expect cleaning staff to just enter the room if not asked for. It’s slowly not a regular practice in many hotels anymore, so if you don’t want them to enter the room while you’re having breakfast, make sure to leave the red indicator on your door handle. I was surprised to see the room cleaned on the first morning (I was not prepared for it and also I dislike when my space is being entered to without a permission).

The family room we stayed in was huge with two separate bedrooms, a living room, a separate bathroom and a toilet. It was very clean and perfect for a family with teenagers. If you had more time you could use the pool and the sauna, but we only stayed one night. We ate in the restaurant, it was pleasant. The hotel is owned by the 7th generation of the same family. The hotel is close to the motorway.

The village was very small and sleepy, but it didn't matter that much for us who were on the way to Paris.

Spacious and clean room, plenty of free parking, nice swimming pool and sauna.Good location, nice to enjoy the swimming pool after a long hike. Good price-quality, including a decent breakfast.

The bath room is basic, ok, but was very cold, less enjoyable upon arrival after a long hiking day in autumn weather. The opening hours of the sauna are limited (good to take into account, only 5pm to 7pm). There are no towels for the swimming pool or the sauna in the facilities, nor in the room. We had to go and ask for them in the lobby. Hotel staff freaked out that we had a cell phone in the swimming pool area (which is separate from the sauna part), while literally every single guest in that area had their cell.phone at hand. The relaxing area in the sauna area was very cold.

The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the sheets smelt nice. The room was quiet and easy to access as I have mobility walking problems, there was a ramp as well as steps to the room. The grounds of the hotel are very well laid out with nice plant combinations, and cater for outdoor seating. The breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of food. However the tea selection was very limited, no earl grey tea, but at least the tea was in a pot, not just a glass of hot water to add a teabag to.

The main entrance to the hotel is via steps, you need to know that there is wheelchair access up and around the back, although to get to that door there is a steep slope. No USB connections in the room Non slip mats or some anti slip methods in the shower would be good for people’s safety.

This hotel is very well appointed throughout, although we didn't use the pool or sauna. The rooms are quite large and the showers are truly wonderful! Staff very professional but friendly without being intrusive. Restaurant excellent: breakfast is good quality with a range of breads, savouries and fruit and cereals and our dinner was superb and good value. Would definitely go again if in the area.

We liked everything tho' some people might prefer a larger choice of dinner menu: we preferred good quality smaller choice.

The new rooms in the new building are very nice! The family room has 2 separate bedrooms (1 room with a large bed and another room with two single beds), 1 bathroom with a huge walk in rain shower, 1 separate toilet and 1 separate living room with table and four chairs. Has a nice small swimming pool and sauna, which was nice. Great location with nice walks and at about 15min drive from Aachen, Germany! The staff were very nice and helpful! We recommend!

We were missing a small fridge and coffee set, no bathrobe and not enough towels to go to the sauna. Only one key per room.

The traditional hotel (tradition could be seen at some places) has been renewed and made modern. The restaurant and breakfast was very good, there was enough space for numerous people. The swimming pool was a delight for the kids, unfortunately we could not use the sauna as we weren't there during its short opening hours but it looked great...! Located near the German border all staff spoke German (and English, and French and Belgian, so we thought) and just a short walk to 2-3 supermarkets. All staff was very kind and kids-loving.

There were no possibilities to store cold goods (no fridge), so bringing a portable fridge was good. The TV is very close to the wall so connecting HDMI is very difficult. The sauna opening hours are quite short (17:00 to 20:00 from what I remember) and we did not get the opportunity to use it.

This was a nice hotel. The rooms are individual bungalows. The main room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. There was enough space for the suitcases a table allowing to work and a wardrobe. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant we used both evenings was absolutely great. The menu did not offer a large choice but you can get owhite or red meat fish and pasta and everything is excellently cooked. It is a family business and therefore they are takib very good care of each single customer.

There was no fridge but what I do regret the most is that there was no kettle so there is no way that you can prepare a tea or coffee in the room. There was only one plug between the two twin beds therefore you need to have a lead if you need to share it.

The stay was great, we loved it! The pool is nice and refreshing. The breakfast was also nice, with a lot of options. We checked in later than expected and we were able to book in for dinner. The dinner was also nice! Overall, quite happy. Also, the owner is a very friendly person, he added to the whole experience.

The only slight downside is that we stayed in the corner room which meant we could hear people climbing up the stairs in the evening. Overall though, it was very quiet and peaceful.

Fabulous staff, delicious food and our room was amazing. We had two bedrooms, a toilet, shower room and a room with a tv and table with chairs. Such a bonus as now our son is a teenager the extra space and privacy was welcome. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Perhaps a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities
