Lovely clean unit in a great location. We were upgraded to a two bedroom after booking a one bedroom, which was a very nice and welcome surprise travelling with two young kids. They unit has everything you need and enough utensils and implements to cook dinner if you want to - or it’s perfectly located for a short walk down to any number of restaurants in Hanmer. The location is also right across the road from the hot pools, and they provide free towels to borrow for your trip to the pools too. Would absolutely stay again.

I booked this from reading other reviews that noted the attention to the extra details and this is exactly how I found the place. A little bit of extra goes a very long way. Excellent pillows (can see why they offer them for sale) , towels available for springs, comfortable, secure, welcoming. Loved sitting on my little verandah. Good NZ hospitality. Appreciated all the detailed info in folder and the bathroom poem. This was my 1st stay here but my 2nd trip to Hanmer in 4 weeks. I know where I'm coming back too.

Really good location and walking distance to everything. Very friendly staff. Very accommodating. Gave extra towels with no hassle for the room and you can help your self to the towels for the hot pools. Very clean. Has everything you need. Had 2 TVs so handy for family with kids. Free parking. Very safe.

One of the single beds was really lumpy and not comfortable. However we only stayed 2 nights so it was ok. Could add a clothes rack. No dish washer or stove but it depends what you are looking for.

Clean and comfortable and a good sized space. Had a wee outside chairs & table area - but was a bit cold to use it. Nice sized dining table that even had placemats to use. Great location - short walk to town and the hot pools. Separate towels were provided for use at the hot pools.

Not keen on "wet room" bathrooms but the shower curtain was long enough to prevent the whole room getting wet which was great. Would be very suitable for elderly people as there is a shower seat and non-slip mat available.

Situated opposite the hot pools and within walking distance to all amenities. The room was clean and warm (thank you for turning the heat pump on prior to my arrival, as it had been snowing). I received a bottle of milk so I could have lovely hot drinks whilst popping my feet up for the evening. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking available. The shower had good water pressure.

The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. Walking distance to town and the pool. The staff were friendly and accommodating, we arrived early before our room was ready, however, we were able to park our car there and borrow towels to go enjoy ourselves at the pool, while waiting to check in.

The weather wasn't as warm as we expected but the accommodation was certainly comfy and cosy.

Great location, easy walk to the pools. Free towels to use at pools a really nice offering and very friendly welcome at reception. Very clean too, would definitely stay again thank you!

Blackout curtains would be good as the outdoor lights stay on at night and it was very bright in the lounge on the sofa bed but not the end of the world for a few nights.

Procs: -Configuration of room with double bed and single in bedroom plus sofabed in lounge -Close to pools (5 min walk) -Easy check in and check out -Pools towels available for free -Amazing shower pressure -Upstairs room 8 was excellent

Cons: -Bathrooms doors folded making it a bit awkward to use, would've preferred sliding but minor inconvenience really

Location excellent. Great facilities. Had everything we needed. Spa and salts were great. Everything clean tidy and in good order. Liked that prime was loaded on tv to use 👍 tilted tv on wall brackets to watch from tub. Very relaxing! Offered towel for hot springs. Staff friendly.

Gurgling pipes gave me a fright at one point. But was only brief. The view from the balcony where you enter the room was stunning, yet the view from the window in the room was overlooking a basic looking church. But odd. Rooms should be facing other direction. However Obviously not an easy fix! Just a bit backward in design. Room itself great.

This is a very good quality motel, we had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The information folder was very detailed and made us feel so welcome. We walked up the street to town each day, it was so convenient. We watched a movie one night on Netflix, that was a treat.

There is only a microwave to cook with but in the end that was ok for us.
