the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. he arranged for us to use the ev car charger, gave us recommendations about hikes in the area and restaurants. we appreciated the fresh milk for tea as well. the room was equipped with a nice kitchenette with everything we needed including tea and coffee. the place was clean and tidy and there was nice soap, shampoo, conditioner and plenty of towels in the bathroom. they even provided towels for us to take and use at the springs.

the room was small, but comfy. there was not central heating but a room heater on the wall.

Salt and Pepper cafe did not disappoint. I have specific dietary needs and this cafe delivered what I required and coffee was great. Bella Vista does not have food service.

The accommodation was as I expected of a bella vista. This one is a bit dated but comfortable and clean. would stay there again. TV with Sky was good although they should call me and I could hook them up with a deal for smart TV's at commerical rates and they could provide unlimited internet not 5 gig,

We absolutely loved the friendly service and the owner/manager, he made us feel incredibly welcome and our kids loved chatting to him. Great laundry facilities, great tennis court for the kids to ride bikes, friendly staff, clean amenities.

Not much! Slightly smaller than expected but comfortable and welcoming.

Was absolutely great loved our stay would happily book again. Even though was very full and booked was still nice and quiet had dogs staying in my dog box staff gave me directions of good places to walk them etc

We stayed room 7 just saying for staff information the electric blanket didn’t work just to look at before gets too cold but didn’t make our stay a bad one by any means

Location a little out of town but ok. Compact units. Had everything you needed

Starting to look a little tired. Air extractor didn't work. Window overlooking the back of the property very dirty. Unit door lock badly worn. Not easy to get it to lock. Some weeds shoeing in the concrete paving parking area.

Clean and tidy, had everything we needed

TV was tiny, shower over bath so shower head way to low, I had to bend in half just to get my head under the water. Our room was right next to the road, where it changes from 50-70 km/h, so traffic noise was very loud with cards accelerating or braking.

Comfortable, I was only there for a short overnight stay, a little way out of town so quiet area, lovely to look outside and see snow on the mountains

Not very soundproof, could hear showers, toilets flushing in other units and things being dropped. However all was quiet after 10pm, well behaved guests. A box of tissues would have been nice

Steve and Julie, were great hosts. If we needed anything we just had to ask. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for us and the kids. Gave children extra hot chocolate :) Full run down of what was available in Hanmer. Thanks

Many thanks to Steve who went above and beyond to return a very very precious sentimental possession to my daughter who left it behind during her stay by hand delivering it to Christchurch before she left for the UK… highly recommend and many many thanks 🙏

Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful proprietors good location. Old school NZ motel would certainly stay again.

Perhaps a little dated but the bathroom had recently been upgraded. Only stayed one night, it served us well.
