Clean facilities, great room service and location. Has a spa.

Wifi kept cutting out and the days we were there the temperature was 25 degrees or higher, these units don't have air conditioning and staying here was challenging as my baby daughter was overheating and miserable. Would have been enjoyable if rooms were provided with AC. I am aware they don't advertise this but they would do themselves favours if AC is installed as we would return. Otherwise we will in future stay in places which have air conditioning units as we know what to expect. There are some jets in the spa which don't work.

Location, and two bedrooms. Comp towels for hot pools. Well equipped kitchen. Good linen and towels.

Have stayed before, but the unit 5 is rather qwerky - as in poor architectural design and lounge comfort. Perhaps get rid of the monster couch/foldaway bed, because this 2br unit is dual keyed to adjoining unit. Add some comfortable chairs. Relocate TV to strange end/corner and dining table near kitchen. Tidy up outside courtyard and screen so unit 5 has a private zone?

It was really clean and tidy plus the location is perfect to walk around the town. The staff is super nice and polite. The only inconvenience with the place was that our bathroom didn’t have fan so it’s all wet and super steamy every-time we took a shower because was cold outside and we didn’t want to let the window open that by the way the window open pretty wide and you don’t have to much privacy. ( it is a local pub next to the building).

Staff we friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Close to everything we needed - bars, restaurants, fun activities, and hamner springs pools (were all in walking distance). Overall, it was extremely good value for money and we had an enjoyable stay. I would come back again!

There wasn’t anything we noticed about our stay we didn’t like. In our room there was however a locked door connecting us to someone else’s room which we found a bit odd.

Friendly approachable staff. The bathroom had just had an upgrade. But no liquid soap in the dispenser by shower. Staff came right away and filled up. Great location. Very close to hot pools and a shopping center. Green space just across the road in old hospital rounds. 100 minutes drive from Christchurch Airport.

There was nothing really that I did not like or that I had problems with the hotel. For the town itself, I could only locate one petrol (gas)station.

Location is prime, nice sized room and bathroom.

We aren't allowed to change or touch the sofa bed without contacting a staff member. Seems ridiculous when there is a family in the room.

Location was perfect. Facilities were great.

We were placed in the disabled unit and the entrance door had a huge gap underneath it (otherwise it wouldn't have been able to open properly). We used an old towel that we had in our vehicle to block the draught. There was no way we could block the draught when weren't in the unit though. Otherwise, everything was up to expectations.

We arrived at 8pm, duty person rushed over with a bottle of milk and left it on the coffee table, said the heaters on but curtains not pulled. Found next day one window had been left open - was freezing

The room we requested was a downstairs unit but we were given a disabled persons unit which was fine but the shower facilities are not ideal as water ran everywhere from open shower with curtain only. A squeegy would have been good to relocate water back to drain. Sofa bed/couch not very comfortable to relax on.

Great location. Walked to hot pools and restaurant next door, others very close. Shown to the room upstairs. Spotless. Appears new.

TV....couldn't get sound high enough to hear and no movie channels but....only there 1 night so no problem. Light outside meant that woke at 2am and thought it was morning it was so light in the bedroom
