Joan the host welcomed us personally and after a small talk we were directed to our cosy room. Rooms are on the ground floor. The bed was comfy enough and the bathroom was clean and equipped with shower gel, shampoo as well. Parking in front of the property is available at no charge. The town is nearby (2 km's), however keep in mind that if you come for dinner that most restaurants/pubs take last orders around 8.30pm for the kitchen. Breakfast was plentiful and sufficient. Joan was able to cater to some of our request as well, which was much appreciated!

There are not many power sockets in the rooms. Make sure to bring a travel adapter so you'll be able to charge your multiple devices at once.

The hosts were great, both were extremely friendly and helpful with tips, recommendations. Felt at ease, met our dietary requirements for breakfast. Would highly recommend the place; nice, clean, quiet with ample parking.

For someone like me who likes his coffee and tea at odd times; could do with some easy access to coffee/tea making facilities (in the room?)

Breakfast was excellent with great choices and lovely scrambled eggs with super toast. Hosts were lovely people and could not do enough to assist. Put my water bottles in fridge to keep them cool and made a flask of coffee for me for my long day of walking. Each evening offered me a pot of tea with some lovely cake and biscuits. Room clean and spotless. Nice hot shower.

Nothing I did not like about this place. Minor comments - No drink making facility in room, but sure I could have had this option if I’d chosen to ask for it. My room was on small side but perfectly adequate for what I needed.

Joan was very welcoming, made us tea on arrival. Once we were settled, she kindly took us into Listowel & her husband collected us later. The room was very spacious, clean. The bathroom was a good size again very clean. The breakfast was excellent, juice, variety of fresh breads & home cooked breakfast. In all an extremely pleasant stay at Palmgrove

I and my family stayed for 1 night at palmgrove B&B. Our rooms and bed was spotless, very high finishing with details. The standard of a 4 and 5 star hotel level. Breakfast was amazingly supreb. Top quality 10/10 Both Joan and Pat were helpful, kind and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Location was very good, just a few minutes from a reasonably sized town. Breakfast was excellent. Hosts were very nice and friendly. The room was great, beds were great. very clean.

No drink making facility in the room (which is very unusual in a b&b). The hosts would make one if asked but of course we didn't like asking, and one night they weren't there so we didn't have a tea in the evening before retiring which we really like to do.

Clean, comfortable and lovely in all its aspects. The host were very kind and the breakfast prepared for us was exceptional, full of options but with no useless waste of food: the host asked us for our preferences and offered us a lot of alternatives. We really loved everything!

No negative aspects

Our hostess Joan was pure class, a very experienced BnB operator. The home is set up with large comfortable guest rooms, and a sitting area for guests. She stored our refrigerated items for us with no question. Breakfast was the best we have had in Ireland. Local knowledge was very helpful.

This was a great b&b for a one night stopover in our travels from north to south. Joan and Pat are wonderful and attentive. The place is sweet, roomy, tidy and comfortable. We felt very tended to. Downtown, just a few minutes away by car, offers a lovely walk and a bit of history, without touristy crowds.

A lovely B&B . Clean and cosy. The owners are lovely. They really make you feel at home. Special thanks for the tea and hot water bottle. They called us a cab and recommend us a place where to have dinner in Listowel.
