Staff , restaurant, bar , pool

I booked an executive suite but was rather disappointed that except for the fridge it was no different to a double room when I’ve stayed before. It was advertised with bathrobe slippers and toiletries the staff told me that you had stopped doing this but it is still advertised on the website booking.com. I actually think I should be compensated for this and just charged as a standard double room . I think also you should have part of the steps to reception a ramp so it easier for people to wheel the suitcase up and down.

I do not usually stay in large hotels like this in England as I prefer B+Bs or small hotels of character. I was really impressed by the room, service and staff: who were really helpful. Everything worked and tea and coffee was welcome. Breakfast was good too.

The location was out of town with nothing of interest in easy walking distance. There is a bus service nearby which I found out later, after a very long walk into the city, looking for a pub meal as restaurent was closed at the time I wanted due to a function. Food was good but pricey. I was disappointed to have to pay full price for motorbike parking.

Nice location to visit easy commute to Gloucestershire and Cheltenham by car, the hotel room was quite large and the shower was very good, we had a relaxing sleep with a very good breakfast every morning, we had an evening meal on both days and it’s was very good and very hot, the room could do with a little update however overall it meet my expectations so no I had no complaints , ever member of staff was very friendly and polite, will I visit again.? yes excellent two day break,

I never like paying to park the car although it was only £5 per day so for two night accommodation in total it was £15 , as a paying guest I believe the car park should be free, very thing else was good,

The hotel was very good for a two day visit to Gloucester. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We ate at the hotel for dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both meals. All of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The spa was nice but at the time we went it was rather busy as children had just finished school. The hotel is out of the centre of Gloucester near Robinswood Country Park. Stopping for a walk at the park before arriving at the hotel was lovely. The park has a nice café with free parking and the view from the hill top, standing by the beacon, is fabulous. The next day was spent in Gloucester. Parking in Gloucester at The Quays multi storey carpark was easy and a great spot from which to begin a walk around the city. The cathedral was amazing and the centre of the city was lively. The shopping centre at the quays is excellent for those who want to include some retail therapy. A first time visit to Gloucester and it was a great choice for a mini break.

The hotel room furnishings would be considered a little tired by those who want ultra modern rooms. This wasn't an issue for us as the rooms were clean and comfortable with a great night's sleep.

This was the second time we had stayed at this hotel, yet again, they did not disappoint. Check-in was very straightforward, our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed We had an evening meal, which was very tasty from a very selective menu. Breakfast is buffet style, and there is a large selection to choose from, all of which is very well presented. You can't fault the staff, they're all very friendly and helpful...

I find it very hard to find or think of something that I didn't like, if I were to be picky It would be that everything is a card payment, there's no cash taken...

Staff were exceptional. Joanna, Remy, Nellie, Erin and others whom I didn't catch their name s. Morning breakfast lady was very good and helpful. Evening meal service could have been better.

Evening meal service could be improved. Staff not quite attentive enough. No where showing where you could sit outside in this warm weather. Although I did discover it myself but could do with making the area more pleasant. Ladies changing room for swim, gym etc had an awful smell. The floor smelled as though an old mop had been used.

The best feature here is the pool and jacuzzi, the stay was worth it just for that. Friendly staff, room cleaned well, pleasant large lounge/bar area, good cooked breakfast.

The rooms and the pool could do with a refurbishment and a deep clean. The location is great if you're in a car, but far away from everything otherwise. The heating in my room was always on high and it took a while to spot the (malfunctioning) thermostat to turn it all the way down, an information sheet could have helped. The vending machine in the lobby only takes cash, while the hotel is cashless so can't provide cashback to use it.

I have stayed here before and came back again this time because it is very clean, the staff are polite and friendly and the room was excellent and not noisy at night like some hotels. There is free parking (make sure you log in at reception). The bed was very comfortable and room facilities are brilliant. The breakfast was excellent and plenty to choose from whether English or continental. Dinner was beautifully cooked and presented. So as to provide a balance view, I would have preferred a greater choice of vegan food—not everyone likes spicy food and the choice was limited. Something plainer like a meat free burger (like a McDonalds McPlant would have been perfect). But I appreciate, not everyone wants a vegan meal.

There was nothing to dislike. The quality of rooms, facilities and costs speak for themselves.

Room ,bed and bathroom were big...which was great.Plenty of room to move and for luggage.Room was perfect temperature.Bed comfy.Good lighting.Full length mirror...tick Hotel is well maintained and very clean.Staff without exception are friendly and helpful Leisure complex is brilliant.Long opening hours.Was permitted to bring grandchildren (who I was visiting ) to use the pool which was brilliant and hugely appreciated. Breakfast was excellent Our stay was really good value for money The food price in the restaurant was a bit expensive but the staff were very accommodating to the meal needs of my grandchildren Enjoyed our stay so much so have rebooked to stay over Christmas
