Amazing location. Got a gorgeous room with a view over the lagoon, slept wonderfully to the sound of the lapping waves. The lobby, the bar, the restaurant were spacious, bright and welcoming, inviting to sit and relax. Got free local sweets, fruit, water in the room on arrival and a free welcome drink in the bar. Staff were very helpful and caring. Check out at 12 was very generous too, so we could make the most of our 1 night stay. We'll be back.

We absolutely loved this accommodation. We were taken by surprise when we had to board the ferry to get there! Quite an adventure and well worth it because we were treated very well. The bedrooms were fantastic as was the food in the restaurant. It was great being beside the sea and observing all the action on it.

Long trip to Aveiro (but the ferry connection makes it shorter). However not much point in visiting Aveiro when the landscape nearby hotel is so great and relaxing

Really enjoyed the breakfast, particularly the opportunity to try the national royal cake (almond). Good, wide choice. We had half board and found the dinners excellent, with a further opportunity to try local/national dishes. Our room was very good, with a private terrace close to the water and with a marvelous view. The complimentary box of dog goodies was a lovely surprise : our dog is still eating her way through the treats, which I am doling out slowly to make them last.! Great location, close to some good beaches and picturesque harbours, and the car ferry to Aviero. We saw nesting storks and flamingos in the wild.

There was no public area where we could sit with our dog. It would have been nice to sit in the bar area in the evening after dinner and enjoy a drink looking out at the view.

The food was amazing, the staff very friendly and helpful and the location was amazing!

The hotel is a little tired and could do with an interior freshen up, but the building is beautiful and the location is amazing

some of the rooms require some work; and some of the stuff seems to be in need of training (very inexperienced, bottles for example, placed on the table without being opened or served - wine) food quality (in particular breakfast, coffee, juice etc.) and variety (some of the options not available early on) could be better

Good breakfast but not exceptional. Fantastic Location and views. Very good restaurant for dinner.

Lack of staff to keep the bar open, but the available staff were very nice. Also be advised that it takes about an hour to reach Aveiro itself by car, probably less by ferry. This is not necessarily bad if you like to see the local scenery.

- Breakfast was good, for a longer stay it was only lacking a bit of diversity. - Noisy ventilation outside of our room.

Very peaceful. Very helpful staff. Dog friendly. Ground floor room with easy access to the grounds. Breakfast/restaurant terrace has great setting looking over the lagoon. Treated to a fly past of a long line of flamingos on our last morning whilst having breakfast.

Outside space a little jaded.
