The breakfast at the property was exceptional. Staff were very attentive. The property is very well located for all restaurants and the ferry port to the islands. The bed was comfortable and the linen/towels were all of high quality. The roof terrace was a lovely area for relaxation.

The hotel is beautiful but not quite practical. Lack of wardrobe space, Lighting around mirrors is poor. Although the shower and hand basin are attractive, being set apart from the toilet is not practical. The air conditioner was loud and the windows opposite the bus station make the room noisy especially on waste collection nights. The steps from the pool to the breakfast area and rooms are obviously original, but are quite difficult to manage especially if you are older and not too steady on your feet, which is the reason I would not stop there again.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel. We were a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) aged between 70 and 4 - accommodated in 3 separate rooms. Each room was differently appointed. All stylishly decorated and comfortable. The attention to detail in everything they do is exceptional. Breakfast served and all delicious. Whatever we requested was attended to efficiently - every staff member gave "next level" of service and nothing was too much to ask. The swimming pool was great for kids and adults. Location perfect for Tavira exploring - easy walk to restaurants and shops. The only issue at the hotel could be for someone immobile as access to the rooms entail some stairs. Hopefully we can return one day as this place was wonderful and enhanced our family holiday.

It was well positioned and the staff were very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Bed very comfortable. Access to a couple of shared pools for the room we had selected is great for the guests but not used as it was not really the right weather for it The mini bar fridge and kettle appreciated Turn down option lovely touch

Minor things. We were there for a week - ? Unusual? more coat hangers would be good ( i did ask for more) Space prohibited it? But a comfortable chair to sit in rather than a desk? And some coat hooks would be good .. and being there for a week - The menu options for breakfast became repetitive

Beautiful small boutique hotel. Beautifully restored and decorated. Stayed in one of the rooms that open on to small garden with plunge pool. Felt like our own private place! Perfect location for centre of Tavira. Staff were exceptional and make this hotel the wonderful place that it is. Thank you to everyone who looked after us. We will definitely be returning x

Only very small minor moan was our bathroom sink.. the tap protrudes too far out so a little awkward to shave and splashed water when turned on. That’s the only criticism of our entire week stay!

The breakfast was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. You start off with a beautiful table spread that could be considered a full breakfast elsewhere, and then order your breakfast main like eggs benedict. Everything was incredible. The area was super quiet and maybe 2 blocks away from restaurants and shops, so the perfect mix of peaceful but central. The staff was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious, from my afternoon avocado toast snack to my breakfast to the special chef dinner that I attended there. Their rooftop is also gorgeous and I wish I had spent more time up there.

I have no complaints! Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if I find myself back in the Algarve.

We loved the property, the name is very fitting! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We were in room 14 (Marrakesh) overlooking the pool. It was comfortable with plenty of room for 2 of us. A decent sized closet with shelves and hanging bar and a drawer under the sink to store toiletries. Breakfast was quite a treat! As was the daily cake offered in the afternoon. It was a great location to explore the town from and easy to get to the boat that takes you to the beach. We highly recommend a stay here and will definitely book again if we return to Tavira.

The bathroom door was glass and only the middle 1/3 was frosted. Very strange as it provides no privacy at all. A lighted makeup mirror would be helpful.

The hotel is in a good location, just a stone's throw from shops and restaurants in Tavira. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our short break. If the weather had been better we would've definitely enjoyed the outside terrace and pool areas. Breakfast was excellent - very good quality and plenty of choice. Really nice for it to be served to order rather than a buffet too. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

A minor point which did not detract from our overall stay - there wasn't really any indoor relaxation space where we could sit and read other than our room. The weather wasn't great during our stay and since we could not sit outside, we would have benefited from an indoor lounge area (the games area and dining area didn't really have 'relaxed' sitting/reading seating) that was warm to hang out in when we weren't in our room. That might have encouraged us to use the bar service too.

Not enough drawer storage in our bedroom. The breakfast tea was disappointing (try Yorkshire Tea and you’d get 10/10), the coffees (even the cappuccino, latte, etc) weren’t great either. The light and mirror arrangement in our room was so poor that my wife had to do her makeup stood outside. The hotel is on a steep hill and there are many steps inside and out which didn’t affect us, but it could rule out anyone with mobility issues. And finally, there is a lot of road noise and traffic from the bus station opposite, which is to be expected from a town centre hotel.

A really good location, a 5 minute walk to the centre of town and 15 minute walk to the ferry for the beach. The bed is massive and comfortable. The room itself is very boutique but not over the top. The breakfast is really good, with fresh ingredients and substantial portions. The pool isn't huge but is big enough. Its heated which we didn't need while we were there 35c outside but sure it makes a difference in the shoulder season.

The hotel is missing some basics, there isn't an iron in the room there is only the laundry service. The room didn't bedside table which is fine but would have been useful. The paint around the pool was a bit tired and peeling.

The Hotel is in a great location only a few minutes walk from the town centre. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to catch the ferry to Tavira Island and only a short bus ride or taxi ride to Cabanas and Santa Luzia. The Hotel was beautiful and so stylish and serene. Definitely, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hospitality was amazing and the staff so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really superb with a brilliant variety available and served on the terrace. I can't recommend this Hotel highly enough!
