Location was excellent close to the lake and across the road from the Duomo with easy access to lots of cafes and restaurants. Towels were changed everyday. It is a guest house so rooms only no kitchen or sitting area. Nice man on reception gave us a kettle and there is a communal fridge which worked well. Cafe to the right as you exit the gates was great, very friendly staff. Walking distance from both Como Lago (500m)and San Giovanni train station (1km).

There was a slightly unpleasant odour from the bathroom drains. Not the guest house fault I don’t think.

Excellent location with good parking, especially bearing in mind that Como is an old town with very limited parking space. Easy walking distance to the lakeside, with its eating and drinking establishments, lovely views and all of the other facilities.

A note about the parking arrangements would be useful, to help people to avoid over-shooting and having to navigate round the one-way system to try again. Very helpful receptionist guided me round, so not a great bother.

Location was great, 6-8 minutes from the lake and less to the Center. Shower was big and warm. also on our check out day they let us leave stuff in the storage room and even beyond the hours!

The bathroom door wasn’t so good so it was difficult to open. But not something that I wouldn’t come because of that

The staff were very good, very responsive and quick to address your needs. After the cleaning staff had left the balcony door to my room open, bugs had come inside. I informed the staff, and they quickly came up to my room to effectively get rid of the problem while I was out and about during the day. I was very happy with them in that regard. The location is great! The hotel is very close to harbor and historical city center.

I did wish the room didn't have a bug problem, but the staff addressed it very quickly. The room didn't have a refrigerator.

The location was excellent for accessing the Como Lago train station, San Giovanni station was further away, it’s close to the ferries, restaurants and other attractions in the city centre. The room was spacious and an added bonus we had a balcony. The manager was helpful on our arrival.

As we stayed for 5 nights found the bathroom smelt a bit and needed to leave the fan to counteract the smell.

Friendly helpful receptionist. Although the building and the entrance hall are quite dated and would benefit from some renovations, the apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, with crisp bed linen and fluffy towels. The location is quite central and just a couple of minutes from the old town which is full of restaurants. Only 5-10 min from the lake front too.

Extremely clean, basic room. Can store luggage before and after checkout. Very big bed. Very modern nice shared bathroom. Only a couple blocks from como nord train station (not the main station), ferries and also the bus station- where you can buy a daily bus ticket for 10.5 euro- all day tripping to mennagio, bellagio, lenno etc- cant buy elsewhere.

dated furniture but that was expected- I had the pink room. Share bathroom as expected- sometimes occupied but there is a toilet on first floor behind the red/green rooms entrance. Some traffic noise but fine with windows closed,. Couldnt find it at first as hidden behind big trees on square

Very small elevator, but nothing to complain. We will be happy to stay there next time in como

The rooms were comfortable, plenty of room and completely clean. They have free filtered water downstairs and all staff are very helpful. It’s a great location, you can see the cathedral from the entrance!! Overall a great stay for a really reasonable price.

The only thing I can think of is that there is a small lift, but if you choose to take the stairs there is no lighting after the first floor so you need to use a torch at night.

Very convenient place to stay close to the port and all the action. Rooms are comfortable--we even lucked out with a little balcony.

The "rules" were stated quite severely: you MUST check out by 10:30am, etc., however, the staff was nice in person.
