The Riverbanc family room was fantastic. The room was as described with comfortable beds and plenty of space. Our room faced the road, which meant there was a fair amount of noise at times, but the noise didn't go too late into the night. We were also there during a warm period so left the windows open at night, which contributed to the noise level (Riverbanc also provided 3 fans for cooling purposes). The location is excellent for exploring the region with more to do than we had time for (and that doesn't even count the whitewater activities based out of the hotel). While the hotel didn't have parking, we were able to find on street parking and as we were out and about until after 4 pm each day, we could park overnight for free (it is one hour parking between 9am - 5 pm). The breakfast was also excellent and above and beyond our expectations. We were given menus from which to order off of and the menus had generous options. As vegetarians, there were also a wide array of savory and sweet options. The cafe drinks were also top notch (I recommend the deluxe hot chocolate:)).

This has been our second visit to Riverbanc as we enjoyed it that much the first , we decided to return for a second. We had a beautiful view of the river first visit which our little one loved watching the water sports when in the room as he cant wait to be old enough to do himself, sadly this visit we did not get a river view but there appeared to be a lot more bookings this time round so its just luck of the draw. Breakfast is lovely , fresh and prepared quick and its a lovely atmosphere down in breakfast lounge,

We was gutted about the view as that was one of the main points for returning as little one asked for his birthday. It was spotless on our last stay couldn't fault however this time we did have staining on our bedsheets that was suspicious BUT you knew they had been through the washer its just whatever it was not coming out and were needing to be replaced. Our bathroom had silicon hanging of around the shower and mould exposed, shower base was also cracked which we had to watch the little one when he was on the toilet as we did not want him to catch his fingers exploring as it was visible and he is curious.

The facilities was lovely- we arrived at 16:00 in Nov so we didn’t get see the river flowing passed. The breakfast is served in the cafe attached to the bedroom bit. The locks for entry are modern all explained well at the start. Parked briefly outside the large green gate where there was pub- was fine some vaping and smoking whilst emptying the car. Then went looking for a on street parking which there was. Moved car to outside the hotel which made leaving easy. Breakfast was 8am start - you need to order. We did think someone would come up to our table - so wasted a little time there. So have a look at the menu and get ordering…to start your day. The front of the hotel is right in the street there was access to pubs and restaurants nearby - would recommend booking a table is wanting to eat out we managed to get a table at the Italian around the corner 7” pizza for children with free drink was good and the burgers where tasty.

The room was on street - so there was some loud conversations happening on the Saturday evening- so didn’t help with trying to get to sleep.

The hotel was set up with simple room keypad access. The room itself was excellent and very clean and smart. breakfast was outstanding with a good selection for all tastes and accomodated a range of dietry requirements. The location of the hotel is great with access to the whole of LLangollen on the doorstep. Parking was not available at teh hotel but there are several carparks in easly walking distance and evening and early morning there are normally spaces out the front of the hotel to drop of or collect luggage.

Lovely little place in the heart of Llangollen with breakfast overlooking the river. Overnight car parking was only a short walk away The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. We liked the self check-in and keyless entry system, and the communication of all the details prior to arrival was top notch. The highlight was definitely the breakfast taken on the deck overlooking the river. Guests can choose from an extensive range of options and includes a coffee and a juice. The vegetarian breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have eaten, it was that good. If you fancy any river based activities, then the hotel can arrange them for you.

Slight noise issues at pub chucking out time but no big deal in reality and not a lot the hotel can do about it

Location was perfect in the middle of town. Parking only 1 minute walk only £4 per day. I liked the build in bed, lots of room to put your stuff. The corner of as perfect to prop up your pillows and sit against. They had streaming services on the TV. Personal in coffeeshop are super sweet and helpful.

The shower was tiny and hard to get in and out of. Rooms are supposed to be soundproof but I heard my neighbor snore. I tried to sleep in, but housekeeping is very loud. They kept a door open that kept slamming in the doorframe because of draft. When checking out housekeeping was banging on the door at 10:02 that I had to check out. I know I was a couple minutes late, but still no need to be so rude.

Superb location, lovely light room great breakfast options. Nice to see other hot drink options other than tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Loved the turmeric latte and hot spiced apple juice. Breakfast very good, especially cheese, leek and potato croquettes. The whole place was spotlessly clean too!

There is nothing major, just a few finite details which would make things easier for guests: A bit fiddly to get in and out of with luggage due to coded entry panels on side gate, front door and bedroom doors. Got wet leaving as no cover from side gate to front door and you need to put luggage on floor to open doors. Would benefit from mirror over dressing table as long mirror in room over sofa/bed so awkward. Can use bathroom mirror when no-one using the bathroom. Better if shelf over basin to put things on as other shelf too high. Add a mini fridge if possible so guests can keep drinks and food for snacks cool. Breakfast- swap streaky bacon for healthier option of back bacon. Serve toast without other items on top to keep it crispy rather than soggy. (Personal preferences here) 😊

This is in an excellent location. The check in is heavy on technology but beautifully organised. The room was characterful and of an adequate size. The bathroom was quirky but very modern and had a generous shower. No parking but there’s a cheap (£4 a day) car park a few mins walk away. The breakfast is in the attached cafe and was excellent.

All good

Stylish room that was clean and warm. Good location and very comfortable with high level of consideration for environment. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Bit long winded having to remember two codes to get in and someone else tried to lock main entrance gate so was left open so not safe. Didn’t like email before even had breakfast asking me to say what time leaving as had to be out by 10am anyway. Shame no staff to welcome you even though was fine without them. Seemed bit disengaged but was still very efficiently run

The hotel is located in the very center of LLangollen. Our room had a beautiful view - it faced the river Dee. The room was very clean. The free breakfast in the morning was excellent (you get a menu with plenty of choices). In the room you have a kettle and variety of teas, coffee and tiny French press for coffee. We also got lucky with street parking next to the hotel.

The hotel does not have its own parking, but it is clearly stated when you book it. If you wait, you may be able to snatch a spot in the street. It is an old building, so the staircases are narrow, going up with bags and suitcases can be challenging for some people.
