Beautiful hotel, great location… slightly out of the centre but this meant it was peaceful yet only 5-10 mins walk to the main square. The room was spacious with great amenities - including robes and slippers which is welcome. Good size balcony with incredible views. The spa is a nice extra. Private parking on site. Super helpful concierge who know the best hikes and could also buy our gondola tickets directly. Amazing restaurant - so glad we managed to get a reservation during our 4 night stay. The tasting menu and wine pairing was excellent. Love that a hotel of this quality allows dogs too. Lars and the team are brilliant. Thank you! Ps Well done to Lars on the Eiger 51! This family run hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. We loved the decor and the feel of the place. The welcome and quality of the service was amazing. We enjoyed the chefs choice menu with accompanying wines, especially the knowledge and professionalism of the young waiting staff. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking!

I really wanted to give this hotel top ratings but, unfortunately, there’s something that prevents me from doing so. Astonishingly, the room we stayed in was very noisy during the morning. Even with windows closed, the noise of passing traffic from around 5am is surprisingly loud (tractors, trucks, coaches, delivery vehicles etc) and, for me, spoiled the experience of an otherwise excellent hotel. This is a drawback to enjoying the beautiful views from the front facing rooms.

My partner and I spent three days here in late May and our stay was exceptional. The rooms were clean, cozy, and offered an incredible view of the mountains. It was an ideal setting for a peaceful getaway. The spa was a wonderful relaxing addition. The breakfast was delicious, everything was so fresh and impeccably put together. We received outstanding service from the staff, particularly Andrew. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the local hiking trails and went out of his way to provide personalized recommendations. Thanks to his guidance, we got to explore some beautiful trails that we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back someday.

Only one room key was provided, making coordination more challenging if my partner and I had to go out separately.

Beautiful property, the rooms were cozy and very clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was so good and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and went above and beyond making our stay so incredible! Also Caterina I’m so sorry i accidentally stole your towels! And Andres i would like to thank you for your recommendations on where to go and what to see, the glacier waterfall hike was truly amazing!! I want to bring my husband to Grindelwald and we will 100% be staying at the Hotel Fiescherblick!

Nothing it was perfect!

The hotel itself was very clean and nice. The entire staff was so helpful and were happy to give recommendations and advice on what to do and how to get there. The location of the property was a perfect distance away from the town’s main attractions and our room had a breathtaking view of the mountains.

It could have just been the time of the year but there were quite a few flies that detracted from an otherwise amazing dinner. The food and service was amazing but it was unfortunate to have to swat away 3 to 4 flies between every bite.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is impeccable in its design and cleanliness. The staff are truly spectacular. Knowledgeable friendly and just all around wonderful. A special acknowledgment for Andrew. He made wonderful suggestions for us to work around the rain and weather The rooftop tub and sauna are amazing. We had the tasting dinner there and it was very special. If they do not have a Michelin star yet they deserve one. Amazing! The owners are hands on and wonderful.

Nothing it was incredible from start to end

First and foremost, we loved the personal attention the staff gave. Andrew and Catarina were fantastic and nothing was ever to much trouble for them. Our room and bathroom were spacious and our view of those majestical mountains was simply breathtaking. Large comfortable beds, plenty of storage for unpacking a suitcase, decent sized TV. There is also an incredible outdoor spa that you can relax in and soak in the views in.

There are a good amount of TV channels however it would have been nice to have an option for Chromecast

Grindelwald is our favourite along with this memorable stay. We stayed in a room facing the museum and church with great views. Ask for rooms away from the road if you must but we didn't have problems with it. It is a quieter area of the town and 4 bus stops from the train stop. Love the rosti (chargeable) at breakfast. Dinner was also great with juice pairing. Glad we took this option. Lars and matthias are very hands on. Special shout out to Eva whom we met every morning at breakfast and dinner service. She looked after us very well and prepped a great takeaway breakfast when we went to jungfraujock early morning. She's a joy to chat with and easily the most friendly we've come across. Love the bathroom accessories and tub. Laundry is self service (great smelling detergent) and thanks for the sparking wine!

To be honest - nothing. We came in September and weather was OK. We wonder how it is like in the room in summer as we aren't heat tolerant. Air conditioning is not common in switzerland.

The room that we booked is as described. it was so clean and comfortable. the view from the balcony is marvelous. we love it so much. the staff in Fiescherblick are so friendly and helpful, even the owner of the hotel. When we was there, there is this cute little truck selling ramen ans sushi for 3 days only (umami works japanese ramen & sushi x fiescherblick), and it was so delicious. Me & my husband was lucky, we have our dinner with the same japanese stall for 3 night straight. We really recommend to stay at this hotel. The bus stop is right infront of the hotel (grindelwald kirche). Me and my husband is planning to come back soon and to stay here again 😍
