The location is excellent – just a short walk from the city center and very well connected to public transportation, which made getting around super easy. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Overall, everything was clean and well maintained.
There were a couple of things I didn’t enjoy during my stay. The breakfast was quite limited and lacked variety – I stayed for a week, and the same few options were served every day, which became repetitive. Also, the first room I was given had a very unpleasant smell. Fortunately, the reception staff was very helpful and immediately offered me a new room without any issues.

The room was clean and good value for money. The hotel was well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The location was excellent and very convenient for walking into the city centre in a few minutes.
The only issue I can raise, and did raise on several occasions with the staff was the unbearable smell coming up from the drains into our bathroom. I reported this and waited an hour and a half for someone to come, then had to chase reception again about it as they appeared to be clueless as to my previous complaint. After this they did send a maintenance person fairly quickly who sprayed some cleaner into the shower trap, this did a good job temporarily but the smell kept recurring on occasion during our stay. Parking is also overpriced but there were plenty of options half the price less than 50m from the hotel that I booked instead.

Buffet style breakfast option best option. Rooms clean and comfortable. Cleaning staff especially helpful. Bright and airy. Easy service. View from the eighth floor was impressive. Lovely urban landscape if not to everyone's tastes. Very comfortable beds and very controllable air con. Bathroom also very big plus.
Room a tad small for a couple, ok for me being a solo traveller though. Gym was "functional", looked a bit of an afterthought and it was one of the reasons I booked. A few more options on the cooked breakfast would have been nice, mushrooms, tomatoes etc - just lots and lots of meat, which isn't ALWAYS to everyone's tastes. Rosties very overcooked and should have been labelled Rockies. Not particularly inspiring confidence when you hear the staff chatting to police about a break in into a vehicle in the car park. Doesn't look very secure admittedly, especially at those prices. £20 a night is A LOT. I certainly didn't leave my laptop in there after hearing that...

We got there at around 6pm, possibly a bit later, on 4th of August, literally last minute idea to get a hotel in Leeds, we travelled from Grimsby. Upon our arrival, and to be quite honest, I don't particularly love driving in new cities but it wasn't too stressful and quite easy to find the hotel, the lovely hotel staff were so welcoming, unfortunately I didn't catch their names as I was tired from the drive and eager to go for a look around with my children. It was two lovely ladies, they just made us feel so welcomed and I just want to say a huge thank you to them. The room was great, clean, spacious and the shower was amazing. Literally everything you'd need in the room, unfortunately apart from a fridge. Air con was such a great addition especially as the window doesn't open. Loads of plug sockets and usb ports was great, not all of them worked though. But wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast was awesome, catered for everyone ,the waffle maker with making your own waffles was a brilliant addition too. Was plenty of food, plenty of choice and plenty of seating at a very bright and airy restaurant space. All the staff we encountered were brilliant, helpful. The rooms must be sound proofed as we didn't hear a beep from anywhere, it was quiet and we slept amazing. Even the sofa bed was very comfortable! Brilliant stay and we will surely be back again! Thank you!
I loved the colorful carpet, unfortunately because it's so light it gets stained easily and it made it look a little untidy. Apart from that the hotel was so bright and airy, we loved it. The iron didn't work, luckily I had our own little travel one, although I'm more than positive it would be rectified if raised with the staff so not a negative point at all. Unfortunately I forgot to mention it when we left as we only stayed the night. The car park charge is a little high. As I wasn't from the area and the trip was very impromptu I didn't do my research, my bad, but usually hotel car parks are discounted at least for the paying customer. So all in all that is my only dislike.

wife is small eater for medical reasons and we couldn't order a child's portion which irked a little- had to order burger in mains . your policy is kids menu for kids which was explained when i tried to order . smaller lite bites could be an alternative parking was expensive at 20 per day but at least you could come and go

Great property! Stayed for 2 nights with a friend, one of the nights was at a concert and the location to the arena was brilliant. I was worried it seemed quite far away on the map but once we were there it was a few minutes walk. Photo attached shows how close the arena was (green building) Room was fantastic, very nice and clean. Bed was comfy and room was very spacious. Air con was great as the windows did not open, which I’m assuming is for safety reasons as we were on a high floor. But air con was perfect. Room was also made up after our first night which we didn’t expect with us being there for 2 nights but a made bed was lovely to come back to after a day in Leeds. Breakfast was lovely too! Lots to choose from! Staff were also very polite when we checked in. Would recommend this property!!
N/A. Genuinely could not find any negative points.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton Leeds City Centre. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained throughout. Our room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast. There was a wide variety of options available, and we were particularly impressed with the gluten-free choices, which was really important for my daughter. It’s not always easy to find such a good range, so this was a big plus. Overall, we had a really positive experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, really close to the centre, 5 mins walk from shops and restaurants. Hotel and facilities were great and although undergoing renovation, did not impact our stay at all. Staff so helpful and friendly and nothing too much trouble. Had a problem with the air con in our room which they sorted straight away after reporting. Room was clean and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast options with fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, meats and cooked breakfast on offer. Will stay again for sure when next in Leeds.
Parking is expensive, £20 for 24 hrs but not many city centre hotels offer car parking immediately outside the building. The car park is secure with CCTV and having the peace of mind that your vehicle is safe and in view at all times was worth the money for us. The bathroom in our room was fine, however the shower tray was worn and heavily marked and could do with replacing. This is not a reflection of the cleanliness though as the bathroom was very clean and the shower worked well.

Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast Excellent. Great choice. The location was close to the centre 6-8 min walk. Lots of parking close by if you don't want to use hotel carpark.
Stain on carpet, which was a shame, but it didn't ruin stay. Teabags in kettle but hotel quick to rectify for us. Slight stain on walls and sofa bed was not the most comfortable. Unfortunately, a discarded needle was also located on the path leading under the bridge, which wasn't nice, but not the hotels fault. All in all, it was a lovely stay and would return. Great value for money.

On arrival, I thought maybe the building was being repaired. Wall panels missing, no safety notices or barriers to protect the public. Check-in was easy. The room wasn't dirty but it didn't smell of cleanliness. The location at night resembles a 1980 car park in downtown LA, scary. The lounging area was like a youth club with no comfortable seating, where you could relax and chat. The staff were friendly, but for me, it didn't feel like a Hilton Hotel, more like a youth club motel.
The location, The lounge area, The layout of the entrance and reception. It was confusing.
