The location is excellent – just a short walk from the city center and very well connected to public transportation, which made getting around super easy. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Overall, everything was clean and well maintained.

There were a couple of things I didn’t enjoy during my stay. The breakfast was quite limited and lacked variety – I stayed for a week, and the same few options were served every day, which became repetitive. Also, the first room I was given had a very unpleasant smell. Fortunately, the reception staff was very helpful and immediately offered me a new room without any issues.

Great property! Stayed for 2 nights with a friend, one of the nights was at a concert and the location to the arena was brilliant. I was worried it seemed quite far away on the map but once we were there it was a few minutes walk. Photo attached shows how close the arena was (green building) Room was fantastic, very nice and clean. Bed was comfy and room was very spacious. Air con was great as the windows did not open, which I’m assuming is for safety reasons as we were on a high floor. But air con was perfect. Room was also made up after our first night which we didn’t expect with us being there for 2 nights but a made bed was lovely to come back to after a day in Leeds. Breakfast was lovely too! Lots to choose from! Staff were also very polite when we checked in. Would recommend this property!!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton Leeds City Centre. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained throughout. Our room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast. There was a wide variety of options available, and we were particularly impressed with the gluten-free choices, which was really important for my daughter. It’s not always easy to find such a good range, so this was a big plus. Overall, we had a really positive experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, really close to the centre, 5 mins walk from shops and restaurants. Hotel and facilities were great and although undergoing renovation, did not impact our stay at all. Staff so helpful and friendly and nothing too much trouble. Had a problem with the air con in our room which they sorted straight away after reporting. Room was clean and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast options with fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, meats and cooked breakfast on offer. Will stay again for sure when next in Leeds.

Parking is expensive, £20 for 24 hrs but not many city centre hotels offer car parking immediately outside the building. The car park is secure with CCTV and having the peace of mind that your vehicle is safe and in view at all times was worth the money for us. The bathroom in our room was fine, however the shower tray was worn and heavily marked and could do with replacing. This is not a reflection of the cleanliness though as the bathroom was very clean and the shower worked well.

On arrival, I thought maybe the building was being repaired. Wall panels missing, no safety notices or barriers to protect the public. Check-in was easy. The room wasn't dirty but it didn't smell of cleanliness. The location at night resembles a 1980 car park in downtown LA, scary. The lounging area was like a youth club with no comfortable seating, where you could relax and chat. The staff were friendly, but for me, it didn't feel like a Hilton Hotel, more like a youth club motel.

We didn't take advantage of the included breakfast but were told of it's availability, times served and that it was buffet style. Room and bathroom were clean. Location fairly good. Mostly quiet.

Shower screen is a bit of a flawed design so meant water went a bit everywhere but not too bad. Bed comfy enough, bit firm. Mirrors in weird places making it difficult to sit and do makeup. No Smart TV so couldn't screen cast. 20GBP per day for parking is quite literally a con, when the rooms are basic for the price paid and could and should include the parking fee. Crispy towels.

The breakfast exceeded my expectations, and the young man who assisted me went out of his way to ensure I knew where everything was. He was also very considerate, clearing things away without needing to be asked. The service was excellent, and I will definitely be staying again. Thank you Location wasn’t the best to find.

"I found the room to be a bit cramped, as it was too close to the wall, which made it difficult to move around comfortably. While the room itself was fine, I think the layout could benefit from some rethinking to maximise space. I was also hoping the parking would be free, but I found the charge to be a bit steep. For comparison, John Lewis parking is just £10 for the entire day, so I wasn’t expecting the parking cost to be quite as high here."

Location was excellent and very convenient for the city centre. The hotel’s great advantage for us was its excellent parking facility attached to the hotel. It wasn’t cheap at £20 a day but it’s convenience and security made it a great asset. The hotel looked recently refurbished and the public areas were bright and clean. The bedroom was neat, minimalist with a modern walk-in shower (non-negotiable for us) and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was included (reflected in the rate). A generous conventional buffet served in a large informal space with decent if unadventurous food that,if you needed or wanted it, could certainly prepare you for a demanding day. The staff were amiable, helpful and professional although the hotel wasn’t as labour intensive as some. Overall it suited our needs very well and although the Saturday price was high that was true across the city and if our needs were repeated we’d definitely use this hotel again.

The bedroom was small with access to one side of the bed a challenge. The room facilities were a bit Spartan although to be fair that wasn’t a big issue for a single night stay. The building is a big one and the modern minimalism of the public areas was slightly lacking in warmth and character. Functional might be the word. In an ideal world I would have liked more wholesome breakfast options but I did eat those on offer so it’s hardly a complaint!

All the staff were amazing from start to finish, they were swift and very efficient at reception when checking in. We were looking for somewhere to eat for dinner as it was my Son's birthday and they were very helpful with suggestions and where they were located. however, due to the bad weather we chose to stay and eat at the hotel which was the best idea! Everyone got a delicious meal of their choice with very generous portion sizes. All of our rooms were very clean, super comfy and sumptuous, the single beds were huge! almost like small doubles, so much so that I didn't want to get up in the morning. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was amazingly invigorating. Breakfast was great for everyone, my mum had vegetarian options and I had diet options so everyone got to eat plenty of everything they wanted, including the birthday boy with a special fruit and chocolate birthday waffle. Another great stay at Hampton by Hilton, we will definitely be returning in the coming years whilst my Son is at Leeds University!

The chips with 2 of the meals were a little on the hard side, but the matter was resolved when Fatoush took feedback to the chef and then offered us some complimentary drinks.
