Very spacious room. Don't let the first look of the entrance and hallway to the ancient lift deter you. The hotel is awesome with a nice lobby and plenty sitting space. Room is very clean and ample space with really large bathroom. Bed is comfy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this hotel for short stays.

On the negatives; block out curtains would have been nice. Also while the hotel is in a very nice and quiet area, the rooms are not sound proof so you do hear noise from neighbouring rooms and hallway. Something to keep in mind for longer stays.

The staff were very kind and took the time to give me helpful advice. Their warm smiles were truly comforting. The location was excellent, making it very convenient for both sightseeing and getting around. There was also a vending machine where I could buy water and other drinks, which was very handy. On the day of checkout, my train was very early in the morning, but I was still able to enjoy some coffee, and they kindly let me take some bread to go, so I was able to start my journey in a pleasant way. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Genoa. Thank you so much to all the staff.

The room was awesome. The biggest room we've had on our European trip!. Breakfast was included and there was lots of choice that set us up for the day. The staff were super friendly and helpful,with great knowledge and suggestions about what to do. The King sized bed was comfortable and we had a balcony with harbour views. The location was perfect...200m from Genoa's rail.station.

The one things was the bar fridge didn't work. Couldn't keep our milk cold for tea and coffee making.

Very good location. Less than 5min the piazza principe and airport bus stop. Appr. 15-20min the city centre/piazza di Ferrari and the porto antico. My room/single room/ is small with good bathroom, ecspecially the shover cabine. Everything is modern and spotlessly clean. The reception staff is kind, polite, attentive. Be carefull, 89 stars lead to the reception. But dont worry there is a lift as well.

Buffet breakfast, bit pretty basic. Buf enough for the start if the day. For this price would be nice a fridge in the room./ its place is ready/!. The room is a bit overpriced!

Very good stay in the heart of Genoa. The hotel is conveniently located near Principe train station, close to metro and bus stations, within walking distance to Porto Antico and main attractions. While the rooms are nothing fancy, they are very clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning. Nice and cosy breakfast area - sweet and savory breakfast options. Lovely staff. Do not be put off by less positive ratings of the area - the hotel is located in a rather busy and well-lit street. I travelled with my teen daughter and did not feel unsafe. Totally recommend!

Location. It was just less than 3 minutes walk from Genova Piazza Principe Station and walking distance to attractions. There’s an elevator on the ground floor to the reception. The elderly receptionist made us feel so welcome every time we went in and out of the property. He made the stay great!

They don’t provide hair conditioner and hair dryer in the room (can get it at the reception though). Only 2 packets of hair/body wash.

My room in particular was spacious enough, I love the location, it was near the train station which I find great, you couldn't get lost, restaurants all around, not far from the port because, i was going to a cruise so, the ovierall was just super.

I think at the entrance, it was confusing to where one should go and the smell was off but once I came inside, everything. Was just different and welcoming, especially Paolo, if im not mistaken, the front man at the reception desk was so friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Hotel Vittoria was fantastic! We were only in Genoa for the day but would have been happy staying at this hotel for longer! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We arrived a bit earlier than the scheduled 1pm check-in time and were thankfully given a room with no problems. Our room was a great size for two people. Great AC, mini fridge, TV, desk, nice big bed, everything was clean, and we decided to get a room with a balcony which was our favorite part watching all the different cruise ships and boats go in and out of the port. Elevator on property as well. The hotel is in a great location right next to the train station and the historic city which was our favorite area of Genoa. Lots of great shopping and dining steps from the Hotel. As I mentioned we were only there for the day and didn't have anything planned but Hotel Vittoria was a great spot to start and end our fun day exploring the city.

There was a used toilet paper roll left hanging in the bathroom from possibly the previous room guests. Was not a deal breaker as we figured it might be to not waste paper products. We simply tossed it and replaced it with the new roll in the bathroom. First hotel we experienced this but again, not a deal breaker just a personal sanitary concern.

Continental breakfast with reasonable choice. Certainly value for money. Spacious light junior suite. Comfortable beds. Lovely friendly staff. Very clean. Lift from via Balbi up to reception thank goodness (and another to rooms) Good position near main station and 15 minute walk to city centre, 5+ minutes down to port, lift next to hotel up to next level.

Very difficult to regulate and maintain the water temperature whilst showering. This may be due to demand in the morning so we showered later in the day.

Room was spacious! Bathroom was quite nicely renovated and large as well, with full sized bidet. Reception staff was lovely and very welcoming. The possibility to store luggage after check-out was quite welcome. The hotel is located very high above the street, but there is a staircase and an elevator available. Breakfast was decent, could use a bit more variety.

Elevator mentioned before is very old, small and noisy.
