The staff were so wonderful, especially the breakfast chef - my cheesy omelette was lovely and he even managed to make me an iced hot chocolate (I don't drink tea/coffee so was very happy and surprised they managed to accommodate my chocolate requests!). The room was a great size, very comfortable, good big windows and natural light. And it was very close to the airport and not too far from the city centre (I walk a lot and was able to walk to both). When I returned from sightseeing I asked for a bucket of ice and they brought me one!! And plenty of water available in the room too.

The bathroom felt quite well-worn. The room was great condition and the bathroom seemed a bit less up-to-date.

Everything. Magie and Basil are just two I know of. Everyone is friendly and love to help. The owner is kind and generous. He insisted on not charging me as I waited for my ride in the lobby last day. Beds are very comfortable and the hotel is in great location.

There is absolutely nothing I didn’t like. Whenever there is power outage, it was back on in seconds. Breakfast had a variety of foods and everything is fresh.

The staff and surroundings at Erbil Grand Palace made my stay in Erbil really special. Immediately upon arriving I felt welcome, and it is exceptional value for money. If anyone from the UK (or further afield) is looking for a hotel in Erbil, I can recommend Grand Palace hotel whole-heartedly.

Cleanliness, position is central and close to amenities, taxies available. Breakfast is good. Staff are very supportive and freindly.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The only point I would like to make is about the bathroom the towels seems very old and even their color looks not clean. I think it is worth it to invest in new towels. Also, taking taxis back to the hotel wasn't easy because most didn't know the address clearly!! this definitly need to be addressed.

I love the location,the friendly staffs and the quality of the facilities. It’s ideal for any types of travellers whether business or pleasure. The hotel is very flexible when it comes to any last minutes needs you want.

Everything was perfect. Lovely personal service from a family owned and run hotel. Very helpful receptionist (Josef) and management. All spoke excellent English and the breakfast was superb.

This was my third stay at this hotel and I don’t think I’ll try another place, after having stayed in many Erbil hotels over the years. The cleanliness really stands out, as well as the comfort of the well appointed rooms.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I’d go back tomorrow.

Very decent breakfast included in the price, which was a very good value considering the other hotels that do not offer complimentary breakfast.

Staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean. It was very quiet when we stayed. Not much for breakfast but the bread was very good :) the convenience store open for 24 hours right across the street from the hotel was very nice to have.

The location was not very easy to get to due to traffic

Everything was immaculate. The room was large, comfortable, well lit, and so extremely clean. The gym was well equipped and also very clean. Good location, good breakfast.

There is no French restaurant! And it’s just a bit overpriced relative to its competitors.
