I was surprised to find the hotel located in an oasis right at the heart of Guangzhou. The green, nature friendly vibe was definitely a plus plus, and the views are spectacular - you could see the Canton Tower very vividly from the riverside. Not all the staffs speak fluent English but they were supportive during our stay. The architecture was Ling-nan influenced with some modern twists, really loved the details. Food was impressive too.

It’s not close to tourist site like Beijing Road but it’s not a big problem for me.

My mother is really impressed with the location. Very quiet with a lot of greenery. They have vintage electric cart to take you to the nearby APM station. You can also arrange a pick up from the APM station with them by calling their reception(she only knew in last day). Room is spacious and comfortable. The amenities are very good.

As a five star hotel, there are a lot of details they can still improve: there wasn’t nobody helping with the luggage when arriving at the hotel by taxi. Lack of instruction how to use the lighting and the smart toilet, especially for elderly people. Lack of hooks in the bathroom. Breakfast is not as diverse as other five star hotels in Guangzhou(everyday has almost the same food).

This was definitely the best stay I ever had in China! Hotel was suburb. Staff great. Special thanks to Oscar, the concierge. He went far and beyond. Oscar understands how to make every guest to feel like a VIP. The hotel is also in easy walking distance from shopping mall and great dinner places next to the mall.

while the selection of breakfast was amazing, the dinner was very limited and very chinese only. It would have been great if the bikes in the lobby would be available for rental to bike around the island.

Loved pretty much everything about the hotel. Great breakfast, free flow bar where we could meet in the evening before dinner & shuttle bus to the exhibition which was not over-crowded. The hotel is more of a resort hotel than the usual city hotel & has a great outdoor pool if the weather is fine (unfortunately it rained a lot whilst we were there.)

The rooms were great - I booked a junior suite & was a little disappointed it did not have a balcony or patio as I thought I had booked with that. The view was also poor looking at the back of the building. I was there for 5 nights & would have preferred some outdoor space & better view which I was was available in some of the rooms. Next time I will request this for sure as I did like the hotel & would book again.

Staff was very helpful, always greeted me with a smile and I even got an extra few hours to keep my room beyond the 12pm check-out time which was such a lovely bonus! I even got an upgrade to the room. There were so many things I appreciated about this hotel and staff! The room was gorgeous and so too were all of the details. Everything was also high tech. Almost felt like a mini museum. The pool was nice and relaxing as well and the location couldn't have been any better! Overall, a fantastic experience. So glad I chose to stay here rather than any other place!

Wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Spacious room and chic decor. We especially enjoyed the bathtub and living room area in our suite. Very nice to have included a portable Marshall bluetooth speaker for a better vibe. The complimentary social hour at Flow was enjoyable. Evelyn and Hannah went the extra mile to make us feel like home. Excellent service and we had a nice chat. The "see through" infinity pool was really nice as well. Also love that the neighbourhood is surrounded with lush greenery. Nice place to chill. The bird viewing pavilion was also really special, breathtaking view up there! We also love that the hotel has a special type of "car" to show us around the island!

Upon arrival, one of the staff wasn't very attentive during check-in procedure. She didn't explain or go through our booking details and we had to take the initiative to double check. The breakfast is of a wide variety, Chinese food is good but the Western options like pastry and cold cut are a bit disappointing, except that the waffles are delicious.

Our rooms was clean, spacious, cozy and very relaxing after a long tiring day. We loved the complimentary shuttle going to canton fair and going back to Hotel. We also enjoyed the complimentary social hour and complimentary first round in the mini bar, hope you'll continue doing that.Buffet breakfast was superb. Variety of foods were provided.I would like to commend also your EMPLOYEE named Oscar from the concierge. He is very helpful to us and very fluent in english.=)

From the moment we stepped out of the cab we were looked after. Surprises and delights the whole way. Staff were amazing. Room was amazing. The Pool was beautiful. Social hour was amazing. The location was amazing, surrounded by greenery, birds and an easy walk to the city and water. The breakfast was next level! Want to go back now.

The only thing we could fault was our room was on level 3 under the Bar and sometimes at night we could hear the bass from the bar music. That was it.

The property was beautiful and in a great location. We were visiting during canyon fair and they made it so welcoming and easy. They arranged multiple shuttle buses to go and come back. They also arranged a happy hour for all guests after our return from canton fair with free drinks and a few nibbles.The staff spoke perfect English and Lance in particular was incredibly helpful. I have already rebooked for when I return back to guangzhou.

Honestly nothing.

In my opinion this is the best hotel in GZ, great location, amazing personal and top notch rooms will make your stay unforgettable. Stayed in this hotel 2 times this year and it was an amazing experience. The best concierge service I have ever encountered. Great staff !

The only thing missing and they should consider improving is adding SPA service, there where no such services as of April 2024.
