All of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and polite. The room was very spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. Large bed. Chairs and table provided for watching tv. A good range of teas and other beverages provided on a table large enough to make your drink with space to spare! The bathroom was clean and bright, with shelf areas to put your toiletry bags etc. Plenty of hot water and a decent, powerful shower (always important to us). We slept well and barely heard a sound. Breakfast was a very short distance into the main building. Again, we were welcomed with a friendly smile. I had the 'half size' rather than 'full size' English breakfast. This was one of each item (rather than2!!) and was still a huge plate of food! Well cooked and delicious. Plenty of space in the car park close to the room. The rooms are simple, but well thought out and we shall certainly stay again when visiting our relatives.

The towel rail at the end of the bath is a little low and I banged my head on it twice! Not a major issue. Everything else perfect.

Lovely location in Wreningham with a large car park, a welcoming pub with excellent staff throughout the 3 nights we stayed. The food was superb on the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant, booking in advance is advised even if you are a guest as they do get very busy at weekends and public holidays. Service for the food was quick and portion sizes generous. The rooms are well equipped with good size ensuite facilities.

We had room 1 and the TV was small for the size of room and the price charged, the TV picture and sound were intermittent which made watching for anything more than 10 minutes impossible. The team tried to retune the TV, but that was not as success. A more modern large TV that is internet connective would be expected for the room price. There is limited space for drinking as the areas are set up for eating, a large and more compfrtable drinking area would be appreciated, the "comfortable" sofa and chairs look great but are not practical unless you hold your drink as you sink a long way back from the table.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. We ate from the main menu on 2 out 3 nights of our stay, service was prompt, and the food was excellent. Great location to explore the local area with plenty of parking.

Having stayed for the last few years, we can see some changes, especially in the outside areas where we missed the hanging baskets and extra tables, brollys, and chairs on the large patio area.

Bedroom was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Plenty of dining rooms and the garden lovely and peaceful. Staff friendly and service was quick. Enjoyed our starter but wish we had ordered a different main meal.

The rooms are separate to the main pub and we wanted another drink after an early dinner but the pub was locked up at 9pm. I was told the next morning that not enough punters to justify keeping staff on. So we settled for watching TV in our room but the signal was awful.

The location was ideal, lots of free parking available, rooms were huge and lovely bathroom was very clean and the shower was great! We had dinner the night we were there and it was excellent! The staff were great too!

Only downside, as we were there for work we had to leave earlier than the breakfast and there was no option to have anything earlier or to take a little something with us. They said they are hoping to introduce this option soon so that would be very welcome!

Room was large and very comfortable set in a small courtyard behind the pub. Evening food in the pub was excellent and plentiful - so much so that we opted out of the optional breakfast (extra charge) the following morning. Being very close to the Lotus Cars factory at Hethel, there was a lot of Lotus memorabilia, pictures etc on display which was very interesting. Large and safe car park.

This place was highly recommended. And now I can see why. The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. We liked the fact there were plenty of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.the staff were very helpful and alway with a smile. The food is perfectly presented, and plenty of it. We love norfolk, so we will be booking here again.

Food was exceptional and outstanding. Bar had agreat selection of beers. Very friedly staff. The room was well appointed and VERY quiet which was a bonus. Easy to find and a really big car park. Nothing not like. Bedroom was very comforable and good TV. I had the turkey roast dinner and eggs benedict breakfast, very well cooked and beautifully presented. This place is a real find. It was a prompted by a visit to Lotus which is only 5 miniutes down the road.

Good sized room, clean, fresh, all-maintained and attractively decorated. Tea and coffee, iron and hairdryer

Weekday breakfast didn’t start until 8am, too late for us and I’m sure many business guests. Caused us a lot of inconvenience. The bedrooms have green lights showing where the exit is, however this light illuminated the room like a child’s night light making it difficult to sleep. Finally, there was a hum from outside perhaps an air conditioning which went on all night. So, it wasn’t the peaceful night we had expected. Staff were polite and friendly but no sense of going the extra mile.

Having stayed previously, we booked again for a 2 day stay when returning to the area. We were welcomed back by Jan and Trina and enjoyed great hospitality and fantastic food both days (Thanks Gary!) Food is both generous and very tasty, and the Norfolk breakfast will keep you going all day.
