The hotel and surrounding gardens and outdoor areas are lovely and the town is beautiful in autum (when we were there). The hotel is easy walking distance to the town centre, but was quite at night time. Our room was spacious, comfortable, warm and nicely appointed. The compliementary gifts on arrival were a welcome surprise, and the included breakfast was very nice. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we didn't like during our stay.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location very close to the centre of pretty Arrowtown. Large comfortable room, with a useful washing machine and dryer. Large comfy bed. Loads of added extra, such as a complimentary cheese platter and wine on arrival. Good breakfast. Recommended.

Slightly strange roof windows directly above the bed with no blinds. Eye masks helpfully provided. Perfect for star gazing, but not great for sleeping in mid summer. If this might bother you, just request a room without roof windows

Perfect location within walking distance to the main street in Arrowtown. Lovely building and amenities. Everything worked great and the afternoon tea in the reception area was lovely as well as the wee treats in the room :) We would definitely stay again!

The room we were in (59) had a skylight right above the bed, so the sun was up at 6am and woke us both up. But it wouldn't stop me from staying in this place again, I would just recommend another room as it's to some peoples taste, unfortunately, not ours eek!

Victoria, the owner, and her staff were so welcoming and friendly, the homemade afternoon tea and fresh fruit every day of my stay was so appreciated, and I enjoyed breakfast. Victoria even made Christmas Day special by providing an afternoon platter of home baked ham and potato salad. The cheese and wine on arrival was a lovely touch. And the gardens! Living in the Far North, I had never seen an apricot tree with fruit and although a little windblown, the roses were lovely. Bonus - easy walk to the shops which could prove a liability if you love to shop. I had room in my suitcase so wasn't a problem.

Loved the set up of the rooms, spacious and nice patio with sitting areas. Amazing touches upon arrival with wine and cheese boards. The hosts were so sweet to provide us with to go breakfasts one morning when we were off to play golf earlier than the breakfast hours. So sweet and accommodating. Nice bathrooms and comfy beds. Easy walk to main road of Arrowtown and it is such a cute city.

Nothing to report here. Thank you for having us!

The hotel was set in an attractive garden. There was ample choice for breakfast. As well as juice, cereals, fruit and yogurt there was a choice of cheese, meats and a hot savoury plus a variety of breads and jam. Nothing was too much trouble for Sadie who looked after us. Afternoon tea was also available. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. I would definitely return.

There was nothing to criticise.

Location, quiet, calm. Lovely room with a shaded terrace, milk in the fridge, red wine on the table, snacks in the mini bar; all complimentary. Great breakfast, individually prepared and served. Complimentary fruit and afternoon cakes. What's not to like? Oh, I forgot to mention what a delightful little jewel Arrowtown itself is.

Nothing, other than we didn't stay long enough.

This was a little bit of luxury, sadly only for 1 night! Arrived at reception to find a personalised note directing us to our room. Cheese and biscuits in room and a small bottle of wine, lovely. Victoria came and introduced herself when she returned and was extremely helpful and accommodating (ice thanks!). Afternoon cake was available in the lobby area, which was smashing! Slept well, good breakfast.

There was a fault with our air conditioning, which Victoria did her best to resolve and then provided us with a fan when she couldn't get an engineer in.

This was truly an exceptional experience with lots of delightful touches. An early arrival system with a scrumptious cheese board with wine plus afternoon cake, delicious chocolates and a tranquil, private patio area. A luscious breakfast, late departure and spacious room made a truly boutique experience as it so close to Arrowtown which was charming, interesting and pleasantly busy. A top notch stay.

Beautiful private, spacious and comfortable room. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Lovely extras such as a cheese board, wine & chocolates and most delicious breakfast provided in the beautiful lounge area. We asked the hosts for help with organising several extra bits and pieces that we had sent to the Hotel for our stay and they couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent location, short stroll to Arrowtown Village. Loved it and hope to go back for our next anniversary!
