The guy at reception is super friendly and available to answer any questions or just to have a chat with! The location is amazing for the price, a short walk into Monte Verde town so you don't have to drive. There's also a kitchen you can use. The car park is big and the Wifi is really good. They have such a cute dog. She's a little nervous but I managed to get her to warm up to me after a few days.

The only thing holding this place back is the noise from the other rooms. They've just used wood paneling to separate the rooms so there's no noise cancelling at all! Even someone whispering in the next room you can hear. If this is sorted out this place would be incredible. Although, it is so cheap for the location.

Staff were great and helped me out a lot, gave advice and suggestions and also booked a few things for me when I asked. Good shower after learning how to use it. You get what you pay for, very basic but was worth it

Location was ok, but you have to go up and down the hill to go to cafes and supermarket, but manageable. You are surrounded by the forest, so you see insects and stuff inside the room. There is no insulation or soundproofing, so you hear the cars from the road and if it gets too windy then the loose roof and just the wind gusts go through the whole house

The staff were exceptional. Really made me feel like a VIP making my stay feel extremely special. They helped me find the perfect sunset spots and booked all of my excursions, etc. I liked being able to bird watch out the back (saw my first ever toucan), and the location is really close to shops and restaurants. The room I stayed in is extremely spacious, and I appreciated having a warm shower.

The weather was very windy the first day I arrived and I was very cold the first night, fortunately the room had multiple blankets. I would have liked to have the option of a heater in the room. After the weather improved I was fine. It's also located above a car garage, they get started quite early so it can be noisy in the mornings, but at least their singing is great!

Basic but everything we needed. The bathroom is really big, the room was comfortable for 2 of us. The breakfast is amazing, we got the choice of eggs on toast or pancakes with 3 choices of drinks. You have to choose your order the day before. Wifi is fast and stable, the room was clean, the supermarket and restaurants are 5 min walk from the accomodation. The parking is right outside the cabins. The shower had warm/hot water, which was nice after cold day.

The host was really friendly and gave us good recommendations for our stay. His mother made us delicious breakfast, you can choose either eggs and toast or pancakes. Easy communication through WhatsApp before our arrival and during our stay. Cute dogs and goats. The room was spacious and had a small fridge, and the bathroom had warm water. Strong wifi. Closed gate so felt really safe. Location in walking distance from the city centre.

The location is very good, right in the center of everything. Nice kitchen with a variety of utensils if you want to cook a meal and everything was super well cleaned. It’s just good value for money and Rene was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed

We stayed at the annex house with shared bathroom. It was good value for money, we were alone but shared bathroom felt small and no sink, just outside in the kitchen

The cabin is right in town yet nature all around you. They fed agoutis right at our front door. Saw green parrots, mot mots and lots of birds right outside our door. However, we could walk right down 2 blocks to the grocery store.

I liked everything.

The room was spotless clean which it was amazing. We were sharing the bathroom and common areas with another couple that was very respectful and everything went well.

Nothing major, but the bathroom didn’t have a sink and we had to brush our teeth etc at the kitchen sink.

Everything was great. Our host and his family was very friendly and even gave us a tour in his greenhouse. The breakfast was wonderful and very flexible with the timing - we loved it.

The location was great, the room was big & clean. This is walkable to restaurants and shops. Nice view from the room. Rene was very friendly and helpful in booking our taxi. They were ready to store our luggage after the checkout. It's a decent place for the money we pay in pricy Costa Rica!
