The location of the hotel was truly fantastic! walking distance to the main square and the convent. It is next door to 13 monjas one of the best restaurants in Arequipa so it's extremely convenient. Staff was very nice, we were able to do a late checkout for 35 usd, which was helpful! Breakfast felt traditional to Andean breakfasts with a nice variety of local breads and yummy foods. We were also offered fresh eggs which is always nice. It was perfectly comfortable, very clean and perfect location to walk in the historic center of Arequipa. The area felt super safe! I would 100% reccomend

If I was being picky maybe the room decorations could be a little prettier but comfort wise it was simple, clean and perfect!

Breakfast was exceptional and the hotel staff (River and Blanca) were very gracious/ professional. The hallway lighting was a bit dim, but was eventually replaced with brighter bulbs. Bathrooms - both in the room and public areas were clean and appeared to be well maintained, although the shower drain in our room (412) was slow to drain. If you are visiting from outside of South America you will need to get used to placing toilet tissue into a trash pail! The rooms could use an increased supply of towels. Really, the only complaint I would have is there are no wash cloths supplied, so you will need to bring or buy your own. Unfortunately, we could not stay longer!

The hallway lighting was too dim. There were no wash cloths in the bathroom. The map supplied by the front desk needs to be a “top down” view rather than a perspective projection, and needs to indicate both scale and “North.”

great location in the historic Centre just across the street to Santa Catalina. beautiful design of the rooms and lobby fitting the style of the city, comfortable and clean rooms. they have an underground garage parking so you can sleep calm without worries about your car :)

in the night you can hear a bit of the street bar noise, most staff didn’t speak well English. the breakfast was not the best variety, but I guess it’s a local standard.

Building was quite nice and very close to the main square. The staff of the hotel was super nice and helpful. Breakfast had a big selection of different things. The person in charge of the breakfast, Jaime, is lovely and extremely kind and very helpful. We felt very comfortable during our stay

Windows are not very soundproof and the room we got was close to a disco so could be a bit loud at nights on that side of the building

Local staff were extremely nice and ready to solve any problems. The hotel is managed from Lima and there is a disconnect with the local staff which led to some issues, like not finding our reservation! Local staff worked out really hard to help us. At breakfast Sr Jaime will make your day with his warmth and big smile, however breakfast is very basic and scarce. The location is a real privilege, it is a beautiful spot.

The hotel has few rooms that face a very noisy street with nightclubs. In my opinion, these rooms should not be used during the weekend as the noise is really bad. Customers should be warned about it. There was another room that has a noise like hammering for hours long. We were able to change rooms, but these issues should be address.

Really terrible. Very poor choice, stale bread, rancid butter, fake juice, bad coffee. The only bad food we ate in all of Peru in 4 weeks. Just awful.

The breakfast. And check in procedure was very poor, no welcome, just brusque demanding passport and money. This is a lovely hotel in a lovely location with some very good employees but we got impression that staff were demotivated and badly managed. A hotel that could make much more of itself and be really special.

The property is very close to the city center, restaurants, entertainment, etc. It was quite the perfect location. The rooms were also very clean, and the staff was phenomenal. They were always available to answer our questions and were very helpful with suggesting what to do around town. But what stood out most is that they truly seek to satisfy their customers. Hot tea was made available in the lobby daily, they happily greeted us each morning, and they allowed us to store our bags in their storage room for a few hours after we had checked.

Location and kindness of hotel personnel.

We were on the 4th floor and there was a noise coming from what seemed to be the laundry room. For about 2 hours per day.

The location was perfect! Close to the main square and many restaurants.

The cleaning service was not quite well organized. I stayed for 3 nights and sometimes the bedroom was cleaned at 11 am and others at 2 pm. It was uncomfortable coming to the Hotel after being on a tourist attraction and find out the bedroom is not ready yet or worst, having people starting to clean and not being able to have some rest.
