The small cottages is located a bit off the main road, so it was very quiet. The landing strip was not used much, and when it finally was it was exiting to follow. It was a big room with plenty of space. There was an icebox outside where you could collect ice, when needed. This was a plus for us. It is situated quite close to all the Amish events going on, so ideal for that. Large parking space just outside the cottage, which only holds two rooms.

We could have needed a bit more light overall in the evening - and maybe a small lamp at the bathroom, so that you dont have to wake up eachother when using the toilet.

The property has so much potential but I feel the furnishings being outdated takes away that potential. The check in process was interesting as we did it over the phone but it worked fine. We had to call a number and wait for someone remotely to answer.

There were areas of the room that were sketchy meaning not clean. The areas between the bed and nightstand. The walls around the bed and nightstand…that area was just filthy. There was a piece of the ceiling (drywall?) that looked like it would fall any day. It was right over the bed where my husband was sleeping. The shower head had hardly any pressure so an updated shower head would be nice. Nice stream of water would lessen the amount of water needed. The beds were comfortable. The cottages have so much potential and some updates and TLC would make me want to stay again in the future.

The cleaning lady came to see if we needed anything before, she went home. She gave us everything we would need for our week stay, And she still took time to see if everything was okay.

I hate the phone, and I can't stand talking on it. Doing the only phone check in was not a huge problem. But I got very frustrated at the guy on the phone. I had a very hard time understanding him due to his accident. I started to get very aggravated. I know it's not his fault. I just could not understand him.

Clean room, quiet ,nice space easy access to everything around, nice parking lot, super friendly staff especially the cleaning lady who also helped me at front desk , she excellent

Mattress is not comfortable, limited tv channels, only one chair, wish there were two, have to call for service as limited office help, women at front desk is also cleaning person PAY That person more money and train here better she is fantastic person who is so helpful!!!, front desk person on staff all the time would be better

Wonderful location in beautiful Amish Country. Convenient to all the wonderful places to visit. The cottage was very spacious and pretty clean. I would definitely stay again!

The mattress had seen better days and was not as comfortable as I would have liked. There have been some obvious renovations and updates, but some things were overlooked, such as not having a convenient outlet in the bathroom.

Another great stay at Spruce Lane Cottages with the Ice box outside now filled with bags of ice and someone working in the offices. The cleaning lady, Dagmar was so sweet and gave me some more towels since we were there for four nights. We were in cottage number 75 which was a 2 queen cottage and was located on the end of the cottages. It did not have a view of the airport but was within walking distance from a laundromat behind the cottage so we could walk to do our laundry. There was a small fridge without a freezer in our room as well as a microwave and coffee maker with decaf coffee. My husband loved our cottage which was very spacious and homey with a table and two chairs.

Middle Light switch by front door turned off cable tv and no light switch for bathroom light over sink which had to be plugged in to turn on and unplugged to turn off.

We arrived at night and once we got into the room, we were very pleasantly surprised. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved the cabin feel. It was great.

There was no exterior light outside the room (burnt out). If I had been alone, it would have been scary as it was quite dark. It was also a little weird checking in by phone, no human contact. But in the end, it worked out.

The heat worked great on a very cold night. Nice bright lighting in the bathroom area.

The ceiling fan needs to be replaced. It was very noisy all night long. The mattress wasn't bad but could stand to be replaced.

My granddaughter stayed for the weekend. It was clean. The beds were good. Somewhat easy check in. They are contacless, and you have to call to get code to unlock the key box. But wasn't hard.

That they were contact less. You would have to call someone if needed anything.
