We were in an accessible room. It is clear that a great deal of very careful thought has gone in to making it fully wheelchair accessible. Doors are extra wide. All handles are easy to push including for the sink. Grab rails around toilet and shower: seat in shower, which is wet room style with no lips or steps. Room has no lips or steps; hard floors. Sink is at a height suitable for wheelchair users; toilet ditto. Bed was comfy, shower good, room a good size (and big enough that a wheelchair could manoeuvre around the bed). Food is truly excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is included and very nice. A wonderful place which I heartily recommend.
Nothing. You do need your own transport - car or bike.

Ground floor room directly accessed off the car park was excellent for our wheel-chair user. The room was large and spacious and just right for our needs (see below for comment on the bathroom though). The garden was outstanding, just for our room, we loved it. Breakfast was lovely and tasty (please supply porridge next time).
Even though it was described as an accessible accommodation, the bathroom was a little disappointing and not particularly wheelchair-user friendly. The shower wasn't suitable for a wheelchair and the W.C needed some grab rails. Maybe something to consider. Also, a review of the ramp angle into the pub and replacing the little step up to the accessible room with a ramp would make good improvements.

A really good base for our trip to The Side car guys experience in Morpeth. The rooms were in a block joining the public house. The room was of a good size, clean and comfortable. The whole place was well thought out with stylish decor. There was a plentiful supply of refreshments. With a kettle and coffee maker. The meals were of good quality. I especially liked the choice of breakfast. We chose our breakfasts the day before and booked a time. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay..
The rooms sound proofing was a little lacking.

The building itself is fantastic with a welcoming and comfortable bar and restaurant. Clean and modern mixed with traditional features. Room was clean and tidy with all facilities you would need for a stay. Parking on site. Meals were fantastic, could not fault the service.
Nothing to do with the accommodation or the staff, both were fantastic. Sadly our room was next to other guests that thought it was acceptable to argue all night long at the top of their voices. Why idiots like these would come to a beautiful place in the country such as this and spoil it for everyone else I have no idea.

Very enjoyable stay. Room was clean, Wi-fi good, tv good. Food (breakfast and we ate all three nights of the stay) was very tasty, just about priced right. Beer was good too. Car parking easy. The bar area is cosy with a nice fire, the restaurant seating is good. Friendly, helpful staff. The village is pretty - not too far from Morpeth, Corbridge and A1.
Little things only - better plug in bathroom basin, a floor towel for the bathroom (especially for the slight gap on the shower screen). Entrance of the pub through the restaurant was a little strange - having to walk past diners to get to the bar when checking in didn't feel very welcoming, but understand you use the space the best you can. If the flow through the pub could be organised differently it would be brilliant. Table booking system is a pain.

A lovely pub in a pretty village. The location was rural. However, getting to the local town by car was quick. There are lots of excellent places to visit in Northumberland which can be easily reached from here. Our room had all the amenities needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The food was good with a great choice for breakfast. Especially impressive were the lovely friendly staff. Would definitely recommend the Beresford Arms, and would love to return.

Perfect location for a local wedding. Ample space in the bedroom. Nicely styled. Breakfast was good.
It was an accessible room which meant the bathroom mirror was very low , perhaps for a person in a wheelchair. Just making the mirror longer would be inclusive of everyone. The toiletries were at the other side of the bathroom from the shower. Inside the shower there wasn’t anywhere to put toiletries. If a person struggled with mobility this may be problematic to them. The table with the in front of the mirror in the bedroom needed to be moved to put a hairdryer in. Not sure how this is useful in an accessible facility.

What a relaxing and enjoyable short break at the Beresford Arms! We cannot praise this amazing accommodation and incredible dining experience highly enough. Even more impressive was the genuine warm welcome received from Josh and all his team. We stayed in the newly completed ‘Stables Suite’, which comprised of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge and dining area with kitchenette, and bi-fold doors leading out onto a beautiful private garden. It was finished to an extremely high standard and was immaculately clean, with very comfortable beds, smart TVs, and lovely extra touches such as a coffee machine with pods provided. We had breakfast and our evening meals in the award-winning pub restaurant. Literally every single dish we had was cooked to absolute perfection. Breakfast was cooked to order with plenty of choice, and was served piping hot. The full Northumbrian breakfast is a must! Our evening meals were full of incredible flavours, created using quality produce, and were of an exceptional standard. We took advantage of the Wednesday steak night which offered great value. The onion rings were to die for! Thank you for such an incredible stay in your charming and friendly village pub. We loved every minute and hope to return.
No negatives.

Located perfectly for our needs. Staff were friendly and the room and bathroom were clean. Very quiet location. Food in the restaurant was good. Plenty of car parking.
The room was located in a separate building therefore if it was raining you got wet walking to the restaurant. Access to the room was only via a series of stairs (no lift). Unfortunately they were unable to provide an earlier breakfast when requested (earliest was 08.30).

Great location, staff and room were impeccable. We had dinner at the restaurant, stayed the night and breakfast in the morning. The room is spacious and very well equipped., meals were excellent and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We stayed in an accessible room which provided everything we’d need.
Minor blip for us was that the mattress was too soft and we both woke with sore backs; this is a personal choice though so no biggie.
