From our warm greeting to the cheery goodbye, we had a fantastic stay here. The room was really spacious with every facility you could want and continually cleaned; as well as stocks of toiletries and tea/coffee etc repeatedly replenished. Pretty much all the main attractions are within a ten minute walk, and though there is a hill to negotiate on your return to the hotel, it really was no problem. We always found parking either at the hotel or nearby, despite often not returning until very late. Overall, a superb stay at a really lovely hotel and one which I would heartily recommend.

Very clean and comfortable. Great view from room. Lovely hotel. Close to seafront and town. Free Parking on road outside. Few spaces on hotel forecourt but found it easier to park just next to hotel. Bar area was very nice. We didn't have breakfast so couldn't comment on that. Andrew, the owner friendly and helpful. Everything we needed in room. Bathroom very clean, modern fittings. Toiletries supplied.
Only small fault was ceiling in bathroom very low and sloping in parts. Had to remember to duck!. Not that big a deal but if you were very tall might be more awkward. Nothing owners can do as it's an old and quirky property.

The hotel looks attractive and welcoming from outside. There is a small private parking area in front of it, but this was full. Ample parking on the road outside. It is a 5 minute stroll down the hill to the seafront. A pleasant check in with Andrew, a very personable host, and I was upgraded to a double room. The room was pleasant with a TV in the bedroom area and another in a separate lounge. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided with a kettle. Bathroom was nicely fitted with nice towels and free toiletries. Everything was clean and tidy in the bedroom and bathroom. Overnight the road outside was generally quiet. I stayed for 3 nights but only ate breakfast on one. I wish I had it more often. Quality food, nicely presented. I didn't have to eat for the rest of the day! Not cheap though at £13.50. Generally a pleasant stay, and reasonably priced room. I would stay here again if I return to Weston
As I walked through the bar and up the stairs to my room there were a couple of very loud blokes in the bar who had obviously had a few. I hoped they wouldn't stay long! After a few hours they were gone. The windows in the separate lounge need replacing as they are rotten and some water was coming through from the rain, a towel was placed over the leak. There was some noise from adjoining rooms as the walls seem thin and I could hear my neighbours talking.

Booked a single as I only needed a short stay for a work trip, but was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. Having the extra space and the little desk meant I didn't have to look for a work space in town. The hotel is very clean, location a stone's throw from the water and a few minutes away from the shops. The host Andrew was very welcoming. I only regret not having the free time to make use of the bar - fingers crossed for next time!
Not as much criticism as information: there is minimum accessibility for people with mobility issues, as the period property has steps everywhere and narrow corridors.

The hotel has a few parking spaces and was lucky enough to get on the driveway. Great location couple roads away from sea front so easy walk down hill. Wonder very friendly and helpful and let us keep car in drive after we checked out. Room was very clean and tidy and had food facilities. Would definitely go back.
If we hadn't if been able to park on drive in not sure where you can park as narrow roads and could not see any available parking close by except maybe public car park down and round the corner?

The hotel is extremely comfortable, just a couple of minutes walk to the beachfront, yet very peaceful location. The owners and staff are great, so friendly, and wonderfully helpful and accommodating to their guests needs. The breakfast options are plentiful and of great quality. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout and in-room items: tea, coffee, bottled water and bathroom products are also great too.
A week was far too short.

Gorgeous hotel. Loved the lounge areas with some kind of game at each table. Good old fashioned 4 in a row and marble solitaire were our favourite. In walking distance to the seafront, so didn't need to use the car once we were parked up. We parked on the road rather than the driveway, as space was quite tight. This was literally only a minutes walk away though so wasn't a problem. Were given the option of upgrading our room and could see both before choosing. Chose to stick with our original room as it was very spacious. Plenty of storage space and a nice modern bathroom with shower. Found me a hairdryer to use when the one from our room had gone missing.
Couldn't seem to get the normal channels on the telly without signing in to the different channels.

From checking in, the hoist was very polite. He assisted me with a no-fuss parking place for the weekend; I stayed in room 11, which had a sea view and a curved bath with an overhead shower. The bed was comfortable to a good standard, and we both had no issues regarding noise or sleeping. The breakfast was the real surprise. Various options were available. The staff were pleasant, and the English breakfast was delicious. We opted for the scrambled eggs, and I honestly say these were cooked to perfection. I asked if the extra toast was required, and overall, we had a great two-night stay. The hotel does not allow large parties or Hen/Stag parties, and while I was there, it seemed like most were couples, which was ideal. I would hesitate to re-book to stay again on my next return to Western Super Mare, and I thank everyone for making our weekend stress-free. The hotel does have a bar, but I did not use it. They recommended places to eat, and we ate at the thatched cottage on the seafront. Beautiful food, and we enjoyed it so much that we booked in for lunch the following day.
I wish I could give some negative feedback, but I have none. This is a hotel that cares about its customers and should be applauded.

The room was quirky with a lovely view. The shower was hot & powerful. There was a lovely welcome pack consisting of bottled water, apples, popcorn, crisps and a jar of nuts. This was as well as the usual tea & coffee & biscuits etc. We were given two different room keys & told to choose which room we preferred. We've not had this choice in decades! This is really a lovely place to stay with very pleasant staff a truly family run business.
We were woken on our last morning by what we thought was heavy rain but on investigation it was the overflow pipe above our window!! It flowed for over an hour but I suppose it did it's job.

The welcome from the owner is calm casual and very friendly. He reassures you of a good stay and upholds it The breakfast is as per the standing of the hotel, plentiful and of quality. It's very clean and looks maintained, I saw no problems which required attention. More than adequate room additions, snacks, tea/coffee and even an efficient fan which was invaluable on the 10/11th August overnight when it would've been like a night in the rain forest without the cooler. Much appreciated 👍
The 'only' downside, which in all fairness I ignored like an idiot, was the parking underneath the trees, not on the hotel grounds, which created a small sap mess on my car which was easily cleaned off when I returned home. I should ve listened to parking where he told me, at no extra cost, and it wouldn't ve happened. It's best to park on the premises or outside on the road nearest the hotel
