You can’t beat the location of this property. The view was so incredible! The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and I felt very secure the whole time we were there.

The only thing that was less than desirable was the fact we could hear conversations and lots of noise in the rooms that were next to us. It was very noisy most nights we were there. One group next to us decided to sneak in additional people and have a party. There were no phones in the room and I didn’t realize that I had the number to contact the management. If I had, I’m sure they would have rectified it immediately!

Rooms are all outfitted with large picture frame windows. You can see out to the beach ocean and foothills beautifully, BUT anyone walking by the room on the narrow walkway has just as great of a view of you... in whatever state you are in. So, be aware. Like being in a fish bowl . Fair trade off for a spectacular view. There are pull shades . Could use sheer as well to allow light in.

This motel is the perfect location for a beach trip. The view from the second story is absolutely beautiful with big windows overlooking the beach and chairs to sit on the (shared)balcony. It is within walking distance to the Pismo Beach sign and pier along with so many great shops and restaurants. There is a swing set as soon as you reach the sand, volley ball nets a short walk down and a BBQ/sitting area for the guests. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are small but perfectly functional. The shower stall is not lit well.

Wonderful, wonderful location. You can see the beauty and listen to the sound of the ocean right from your room. Your yard is the beach. Very friendly staff. Clean and well-equipped room (we had one with a fridge, coffee maker and microwave) Just a few steps from the motel - the promenade, shops and restaurants. Special thanks⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to the owner, who was very hospitable and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay, we enjoyed the ocean even after sunset right from our room. Great parking, the stay is included in the room price.

Location is unmatched! Right on the pier! Close to the swing sets! We got the three bed, two bedroom. It was great to have the extra bed!

There wasn’t a dresser or table, no chairs inside the room so your only option was to sit on the beds. It was the room feel cramped to not have anywhere to put our luggage. There were cobwebs from the light in our single bed bedroom. We were too tired to call for the maintenance and just dusted it ourselves. For the price we paid I felt that was not right. The parking lot is directly next to the single level rooms. I wish there was a plant or some division between. Ultimately the location was the winning factor and we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, located right on the beach and the price was definitely worth it! My granddaughters and 1 were visiting from Kansas and hadn’t been to the beach in over five years. The staff at Dolphin Cove or helpful in answering all of our questions and guiding us to different locations throughout Pismo Beach to ensure we had a pleasant vacation. If we ever come back, we will definitely stay again.

The property was just right for our needs. We just needed a bed and a shower close to the beach. If we had stayed longer, we would have needed a larger room with a kitchenette but I do believe they have those on site as well.

The location is great, just in front of the pier and the ocean. The room had 3 queen beds which worked perfectly for our family of 5 as a one night stop on the way from San Diego to the Bay Area. However, it would be too small for a longer stay. We were getting in late, and the person from the registration desk called us, told about the room and left the keys for us to pick up. It was very convenient

The floor was not very clean. And, to our surprise, we found a small cockroach on the wall. There was a microwave in the room, standing on the fridge. However, the power cord of the microwave was too short to reach to any of the available outlets - we couldn't use it.

Location, Location, Location. Walking distance on boardwalk to shops, restaurants, pier, pubs, etc. Highly recommend. Our favourite seaside spot between Hollywood and San Francisco.

We were on the lower floor. The waterfront view would have been better on the 1st floor. Also the sound of walking from people staying above was quite loud. There are no lifts. If you stay on top floor you take your bags up steps. But I’m sure worth it for the view.

Location was ideal and the view of the room was amazing. I would come back.

No real way to ventilate air through the room during the day got hot in the room unless you left the door open. The key fob didn’t always work for me. Also felt like the space on the top floor for the patio was very small and tight.

We loved the view and the proximity to Pismo. We spent part of our evening sipping wine while using the outside seating area. The owners were very nice and we could tell they are proud of this place. They seem to really enjoy the people and having us there. I’m sure we will return again.

Everything was pretty much as we expected it. No complaints.
