Great location right on the water with a fantastic view of Vesuvius and really great for getting into historic centre and other parts of the city. Everywhere is walkable and lovely restaurant a two minute walk on the waterfront. Staff were lovely and I’ve read people complaining about the breakfast but there was a really good choice of just about everything you could want and lovely coffee and service so I thought it very good.

It’s on a really noisy road which to be fair is why it’s such a great location on the waterfront and it’s not the hotel’s fault that it’s noisy until quite late. They are constructing a promenade which I think will be great when it’s finished. We were also there the weekend they won the football title so I suspect it was rowdier than usual. The decor is a little tired, but it had air conditioning, good sized rooms that were made up beautifully every day.

It was our first time in Italy. There were just 2 of us and we were clueless on transportation, language barriers, and all the other things that go with traveling out of our home country. Upon arrival, we couldn't figure out entrance to the hotel (gorgeous old wooden doors) but a staff at a close Cafe helped us. Our room was clean, accommodating, and met all our needs. The staff...AMAZING! Francesca, Julia, Simone, and many others were sooooooo friendly and helpful! From calling us SAFE taxi companies (some will not use meter to make more money...BEWARE!!!) To help us locate a dr office for an emergency visit...they were like a new family to us! They truly made our stay indescribable! Yes, they are in the end stages of a remodel and I can't wait to come see the finished product! They're changing the look from vintage Italian to new wVe/deco type atmosphere! The HUGE glass entrance door alone is stunning! I am a fan of the vintage look but can certainly appreciate a business changing with the times! Well done, Relais sul Mare! * Superb location - the view and the distance to great dining was even better than we expected. We were two ladies travelling together and felt very safe staying here as well as walking around the area at all times of the day/night. It was also a very reasonable distance to the Port where we caught a ferry to Capri for a day trip. * The entire hotel, including our room and bathroom, were extremely tastefully decorated * Everything looked and felt very clean, we felt comfortable and right at home

* The shower could have a small ledge to keep shower products on * The free breakfast was decent. I would have preferred to order something off the breakfast menu but it felt like the prices might have been too high (compared to just going to a cafe) - maybe there could be an offer to have a nicer breakfast included in the stay price for a small additional cost

the three balcony's overlooking Naples were spectacular. The staff was really nice. (Joseph)

When we arrived, we had no way of getting into the building. Someone happened to walk out to open the door. Then when we got into the building, there wasn't a soul around and we didn't know where to go. It was kind of funny. We figured it out. The regular lobby was under construction and this was the back way in. We rolled with it. It's not that I didn't like it, it was just tricky closing the blinds over the hot tub, but it was part of the charm.

Only thing we personally didn't like was the breakfast as it was a small selection (but it is a small hotel ) , however the lady at breakfast was lovely 😊

This hotel is beautifully renovated, clean and in the perfect location right along the water! The views from the balcony were amazing. It was great to sit out on the balcony and watch all the action. The hot tub was amazing, everything worked and it was nice and hot. Very clean room, bed was very comfortable and staff were very friendly and accommodating!

If you are not used to a big city, the noise from the traffic outside is kind of loud at night. It was fun to hear the city sounds though.

The room itself was very nice. The view of the harbor life and Vesuvius was incredible. The location was terrific, so easy to walk to Toledo Street shopping and to Spacca Napoli street. The staff was very nice and helpful and since our departure flight was early and we could not be there for breakfast, they prepared something for us the night before.

Its difficult to find the main entrance from the street. When you get to the entrance door it is over a foot higher off the ground, so you need to lift your bags over the entry way. Once inside you need to carry your bags up 5 or 6 steps before you can get to the elevator. The elevator is very small and if you have decent amount of luggage you need to make two trips before you get to reception on the second floor where the hotel is located. that is why its difficult to find the main entrance.

Room with jacuzzi- clean and comfortable Elevator - suitable for small luggages and 2 pax only. Breakfast - lovely continental breakfast but fot Thai people I think you may not OK. Staff - All of you are friendly and good attitude

Customer Service was amazing. The breakfast was a lot better than expected. Our room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks again to the staff working there those two days who ensured we had a pleasant stay!

The tiniest elevator

The location was excellent. Very lively, walking distance to a number of restaurants and Castel dell'Ovo. Wonderful views of Mount Vesuvius and Naples bay. The breakfast room set up is beautiful and had a nice spread. The staff was great, helping us getting reservations at beach clubs, suggesting restaurants and calling taxi services when we needed.
