Everything! The pool, the location, the view, our beautiful room and especially the extremely helpful staff. We had dinner there 3 nights out of our 4 and it was exceptional. The quality of food and wine was the best we have had so far in Italy. The staff all go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. We liked being a little out of busy Sorrento. It was very peaceful. We were picked up by our tour operators at the hotel, so no issue.

The hotel was family run and they really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They even got us some slimline tonics in for out G & T’s, which was so very kind.

No shuttle bus into Sorrento town. The buses are not reliable. Although it’s only 1.5 miles to walk in, I struggled due to back problems as pavements are very small and uneven. No Ubers and the local taxis are expensive at anywhere between 20 & 25 euros each way. Ig the hotel provided a shuttle bus, I am sure residents would be happy to pay for a return trip.

A small boutique hotel that went the extra mile on every occasion.

A very minor point, would be the staff’s irregular visits to the pool side to see if the guests needed anything.

Staff are extremely professional, Helpful and friendly. They made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and organised tours and return transport back to Naples. Would highly recommend.

3 nights and this place has become my favourite hotel in the world. Family run for three generations, that latest owners doing their parents proud. Spotless, impeccable service, kind and friendly, made a solo traveller feel part of the family.

Those looking to walk out onto the street and party will need to walk 15 minutes. But those looking for an exceptional stay in the stunning setting of the Sorrento coast… this is it.

The hotel is a short distance from the centre of Sorrento but is on the Vesuvius line which takes you directly to Pompeii and Herculaneum - the main reason for our visit. Our room overlooking the pool was very comfy. The staff were very friendly, helping to sort out the taxi when our flight was delayed and generally on hand to deal with any queries. The bar across the little promenade was a great place for a drink in the evening with beautiful views towards both Capri and Vesuvius.

This is a very special place. I visited here three years earlier with my eldest daughter and returned recently with my youngest daughter. The hotel has since undergone a stunning renovation. Everywhere is super clean (a special mention to the housekeeping staff who are excellent) and to all the staff who are attentive and friendly. The most wonderful part of this hotel is its location, in a quiet pedestrian area, with spectacular views across the bay. If I ever return to Sorrento, I’ll be sure to be back again.

Loved everything. Just to mention that the hotel is around a 25 minute (very scenic) walk to/from Sorrento. We appreciated being away from the busy and overcrowded centre to return to the tranquility of the hotel.

Hotel Villa Garden is an exceptional property with such fantastic staff. All facilities were clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, with all amenities to make our stay amazing. Location was perfect, not too far from main town Sorrento, but far enough away to avoid the busy town. Such nice restaurants too in the area. We will definitely be back!

I do not think we can fault this hotel it did everything we had hoped it would when booking. The building and grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The staff were charming, welcoming and genuine. The food was fantastic. Our flight out was delayed the Hotel helped us to sort out our transfer and when we checked in in the early hours Guessepie greeted us immaculately dress which a welcoming smile

It’s an immaculately maintained, superbly located family run hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean. The pool area is very pleasant and relaxing. The breakfast is excellent with great number of choice both sweet and savoury. The dinner restaurant has the best sunset views and again the food as well as cocktails are wonderful. The staff and the family who owns and operates the hotel are lovely and super helpful.
