Ideally located in downtown Beirut and not far from the bustle and vibrant shopping streets, a short walk to the Corniche and slightly further to the marina and port or main shopping district of the redeveloped seafront. The hotel is very large with amenities spread across its seventeen levels with a very highly rated restaurant on the ground floor entrance level. The staff were so friendly and welcoming making my visit so much more relaxing with greetings and a smile at all times from every member of staff I encountered. I arranged an airport transfer to the hotel and was met, warmly, as I exited arrivals then had a comfortable journey to the hotel with my driver pointing out areas and landmarks as we passed through the city. Check in was smooth and my room was on the twelfth floor with a seated balcony area and views of the city and large room and shower room with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage, with hot drink facilities and a fridge too. As for Beirut, all I can say is if you haven’t visited, you must, it’s large, vibrant and welcoming, beautiful sights, friendly people and incredible nightlife, it was the highlight of my winter vacation, by far. I had a truly wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A very special thanks to the amazing reception team who made my experience even more memorable — Karim, Jana (the tall one!), the second Jana, and Mabelle. Each of them went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were genuinely appreciated. Staff is EXTREMELY accomodative (room upgrade, very late check out) and helpful (when looking for recommendations for specific places to go out to). Room service also very prompt, so only good things to say across the board. As mentioned by several reviewers, the breakfast is quite good as well. The hotel itself is amazing, but what truly sets Gefinor apart from other hotels is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. Jana at the front desk is fantastic—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Kareem was also incredibly helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to both of them! The breakfast, as always, was exceptional—delicious, fresh, and with a great variety to choose from. Looking forward to my next visit!

An excellent stay from the moment of my smooth and welcoming check-in with Mr. Paul at the front desk. All other hotel staff (managers included) combine professionalism with courtesy and eagerness to ensure that guest expectations are met and surpassed. Rooms are clean, quiet, and modern, with high-quality bedding. The rooftop pool offers a broad view of the city and sea. The gym is up-to-date and equipped with machines, mats, free weights (including a rack), and plenty of towels. Water, electrical power, and Internet all reliable. The breakfast buffet offers an ample international selection that includes fresh fruit and omelets made to order. For walks in the fresh air, the seafront promenade is reachable in under 10 minutes. Overall, the Gefinor Rotana is a home away from home. Highly recommended.

The property was well maintained with beautiful architecture and decorations within. I love the rooms and the comfort they were able to bring my family and I. Pool and gym was exception beyond what other hotels are able to offer. The outdoor cab drivers were also extremely friendly, helpful, along with quick service. Omar was the most friendly and receptionist i have ever met. He was always helpful and brought a smile to me and my family face every time we saw him. At the end we felt as if we made a new friend for life!

Hotel is great, location is perfect and staff are super lovely. Overall the stay was a pleasure and I would stay here again. The staff are all so amazing I think their service made my stay more enjoyable.

Just a minor thing- I was charged a little extra (about $50) then what I booked on booking.com. That was the only downside otherwise great hotel.

What went well? Everything. I have been staying at the Rotana Gefinor since 2007 and have witnessed a lot of improvements of the facility and internet - both the reliability and speed. What has been always exceptional? The personnel. There are still employees I remember from my first stay, which says it is a good place to work. Every single one, both the "veterans" and new guys are just amazing, flexible, positive, supportive. My flight days and departure times were frequently changed this time, however, all these changes affecting my check-in and check-out were accommodated. I would like to mention Ms Bouchra by name, she handled my last check-out changes and taxi booking and arranged everything in no time. My "like" part would not be complete without praising the Reservation department for support and managing all arrival changes. Currently, I have no new projects that would take me to Beirut but hope it was not my last trip. And if it were, I have a treasury of wonderful memories.

There is nothing I can think about. Rotana Gefinor is exceptional maintaining top standard throughout the years. I have absolutely no complaints.

A comfortable room with a lovely view, a diverse breakfast offering everything I enjoy, and a prime location—close to stores, pharmacies, and restaurants, with vibrant Bliss Street just a short walk away. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, especially the reception team, including Ribal.

I traveled for emergency reasons and from the moment I arrived the front desk team with their manager were amazing and very professional. They upgraded my room and offered me additional services at no added cost. Every single member of the hotel were so kind and respectful. Room are spacious and very clean. Room amenities were of good quality. Hotel location is excellent. This is my favorite Hotel in Beirut and I tried over 6 different Hotels. I will definitely be back. Truly a 5 Star Experience
