Great breakfast! Immaculate rooms with updated amenities. The staff are really nice and helpful. The location is perfect if you're here to see the downtown market square. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is an interesting mix of architecture and greenery. Walking to the UTK campus is a little longer, maybe 20-30 minutes depending on how athletic you are. The nice part of walking to the campus is that you pass the older section of the school, Rocky Top, so you can climb it and get in a workshop as well. If you drive to campus, it's 5 minutes to the nearest parking structure.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I arrived close to midnight and the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and check-in was fast (thank goodness, I was whooped) Everyone at the front desk over the next 4 days were always accommodating and the kitchen staff were fantastic. Location was perfect! I could walk to downtown in minutes.

There was one caveat of the property - my room was loud. It was over a busy street and traffic, horns, sirens, garbage trucks, etc seemed to reverberate in the room. However, I used my noise canceling headphones and it blocked out everything. The property has no control over the noise and the location and staff made up for the few hours i was in the room. For those looking to stay here, the answer is ABSOLUTELY YES, perhaps ask for rooms off the back road or bring headphones.

We were there for the Morgan Wallen concert and asked 3 separate times for a roll away bed for my husband. We were told at check in that this was an option. We asked at checkin at 130, again around 5pm and then at 330am when we arrived back for the night. The rude front desk person at 330 said there was no mention of the roll away bed on our account and the couch pulled out so we should do that. We got back up the room and the couch didn’t pull out. At that point it was 4am and my husband slept in a ball on the small couch so my mom and I could share the bed.

Room clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and decent with several choices. Better than a continental breakfast.

Room 302 the bed was broken, and the hallway and room smell like smoke and urine. I was immediately moved to another room which was on the second floor. Floor and room smelled better and was clean. The noise from the traffic outside was uncomfortable and the wall above were thin. I could hear the children running and talking above us.

Breakfast was delicious. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable! Loved the extra little couch in the room! The bathroom was updated and beautiful.

There were a couple of things - there was no fan in the bathroom. We like a fan while we shower and use the restroom and there was not one. Also, did not care for the open shower, wish it had a door to close instead of just being open on the end. There was a group of pre-teen boys who stayed on the second floor while we were here... these boys literally peed in the elevator. We know this because they were coming out of the elevator as we were going in and they said "don't step in that corner, there's pee". I know the hotel has no control over this, but I feel like it should have been taken care of immediately. Instead, it just looked like the staff had put a "Wet Floor" sign in the elevator.

Came to Knoxville (first visit) for a concert. Katharine Knaps checked us in and she was super sweet and helpful Helped us with transportation and restaurants in the area! The room was very nice. Only compliant was from my husband and he did't think the bed was comfortable but I slept like a baby. Knoxville was very nice and clean. Felt very safe walking around. We are from Louisville, Ky and unfortunately I can not say the same for our downtown area :(

Nothing that I didn't like but.....Breakfast needs to end at 11:00. Could have used another hour of sleep... ;)

This is a awesome hotel all the way around. The location is beautiful while also downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful upon our arrival, and parking was easy. Our room was huge with a unique layout in a kind of square room rather than the usual rectangular rooms that you see in most hotels. Breakfast was great and in a served bright area that had windows that gave you a view of the tree-lined, city street. The best part of this hotel, I mean the BEST, was it's cleanliness! I am very sensitive to smells and this was hand's down the best smelling hotel ever. That may be a strange observation to some, but for those of you who get it about smells, don't hesitate and book this one now. The housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly as well! Thank you to everyone.

I am a very picky traveler who rarely writes reviews... there is nothing that I did not like.

The Location,and the service staff in the morning for breakfast, they were more than accommodating.

There was not enough staff when we checked in, we had to wait more 15 minutes to do so. Our room was on the highway side of the hotel and the traffic was very loud, to the point that it disrupted our sleep.

Great location, very clean, good breakfast. The staff was very nice. Pool was very clean and was not overpowered with chemicals.

One elevator was down on the last day and they were changing out the mattress so a lot going on on our last day. What would make everything better is if someone would find and return my son blanket that he left in the covers of the bed. Please let us know, it means a lot to him. It's Super Soft Fleece Sherpa Fuzzy Throw Blanket w/ the words blessed on it and it was burgundy/reddish color. Thank you

Husband was there at 6:00 pancakes, oatmeal and glazed honey bun. Then the rest of the family went down later about 9;00 and alot had been there, but mostly gone, I suppose the the children got enough. i had a hospital surgery scheduled for 8:45 and I couldn't eat and husband was going with me so he had to eat early. Thanks for the stay, I was pleasantly surprised. Normally downtowns are run down and hotels move closer to the interstate. I was assured at the Ortho clinic, you had a private parking my biggest concern.
